A little weekend recap!

A full weekend! But, I didnt take any pictures, essentially, but I am documenting.....so it happened! :)

Friday, JHS had an away game so since it was all the way in Corner, we skipped and enjoyed dinner with the Ray's and then made it an early night since Lily had to be in Munford super early on Saturday!

The game didnt end with a win, but Alexis had fun and all the Senior memories were made! We had a great dinner and it was great, as always, to catch up with the Ray's while keeping it a low-key Friday night!

Saturday, Tyler took one for the team and him and Lily hit the Cross Country meet while Alexis and I stayed back and she worked on all the things Dual Enrollment (Biology and Psychology) while I cleaned the entire house (OH, it felt good!) and cooked ALL the football foods since we have not been able to actually be home and me make anything YET!

Pearson was with us all day both Saturday and Sunday so her and Lily enjoyed hanging out while Alexis had a date with JC and went to Nayeli's 16th birthday party.

SO, Tyler and I had a low-key Saturday afternoon and night watching ALL the football and eating ALL the football food! :)

Sunday was full of Church, school work, and gearing up for the new week! (Story of a typical Sunday!)

It was a great weekend!

The best I got! Let me tell you...football food is my FAVORITE.....and that's exactly what was under the aluminum foil! :)

This was my view when I walked in to check on these two! You know............back when these two were tiny.....................if they were quiet, that meant they were up to something!..................now....its just them lounging on the bed watching funny/stupid videos! Time flies I tell ya!

A flashback!

Saturday I had to head to the Anniston Country Club because that is where Alexis' big group had pictures.

I always love to drive by and look at where Tyler and I got married so that is exactly what I did Saturday.

To my surprise, the new owners (or same owners) have given it a refresh!

It looked so happy!

I just love that area, around there so it was so good to see it all!

Made me smile!

Alexis' Senior hoco!

 Whew, these days....

I never know what is going on. This group...plans things...literally the day of.

She just decided (as he asked her) Thursday for her to go with JC....

whew!

: ) : )

but, I know they are all having a blast and making all the memories to soak up their Senior year!

So beautiful!

Love!

JC....I have lost count of how many dances they have been together now. They may be, just friends, I dont know status, all the things...but constant dance date....is a check!

So cute!

Love!

Senior CHEER!

Friends since they were little!

Love these girls!

Always love these two!

The girls!

The whole crew! The struggle was real to get this picture....but us parents got it and then, I was d.o.n.e. taking pictures after this one! ha! Food, something to drink, air conditioning and my home were calling my name! :)

I know they are having the best time as I type this!

And...then Alexis and the 'after' fun too! She said she had a great night!

Lily's 8th grade HOCO!

Lily is living her best life tonight with her best friends!

Tyler is currently at the JAX State game, working it, and Alexis is at her hoco dance....so I am currently...alone, well with Soccer (who is sound asleep) watching college football and doing pictures from the day!

Here is Lily's best friends before they went to the dance, followed by Baja and 5 below and then will be spending the night together too!

A FULL day I tell ya!

Our girl!

Love her!

I mean, legs for days!

Sassiness!

One of my favorites!

Best friends!

They are just growing up!

They picked their poses! :)

The sweetest friends!

So cute!

So good!

Love these girls!

Lily loved the 'after' the dance fun more, she said with Baja, shopping at 5 below for ALL the candy...and then hanging out with this crew and spending the night!

Love that she made fun memories!

Lily's Cross Country meet!

This morning was an early...VERY early....one!

We were up BRIGHT and early to head to Birmingham for the Oak Mtn meet. It was cancelled last year due to rain so Lily was anxious this year to conquer it. AND conquer it she did!

This course was not a PR course, it was basically a 'survive' course! What I mean by that is...it was a very narrow course with roots and tree branches and ditches, and a creek and mud holes and MORE!

It was an adventure....and Lily said that she could do without this course from now on! But, we got to see the SWEETEST baby that is just GROWING up and OH my goodness, she smiled the ENTIRE time too.

I told Meg, I was stealing her and trading a teenager for her baby.

Meg said no.

But, I almost did it!

For real!

Pictures to come once I get them off my phone!

These girls were ready to conquer!

I mean, I dont want to do this! She said she didnt care too much for this course, that it was very narrow and people were shoving and elbowing.

Its rough I tell ya!

She MADE it through though and had a sweet cheering squad at the end for her...that didnt want to touch her because she was so wet and sweaty! ha!

AND...look AT THAT baby...she smiled the entire time! Ahhh.....so sweet!

Homecoming week wrap!

Whew, hoco week is a busy one full of every night me trying to stay up later to 'catch' the kids that roll our house, etc................to no avail........... but...........its all fun and memories were made, and that is what counts!

They came away with a HUGE win against Leeds too! Last year, they stomped us so we didnt have high hopes but it was a great game and a great ending to homecoming!

These three Seniors making fun memories!

Spotted some of my favorite 8th graders....................who, by the way, their float won!

Hoco pep rally!

I got this great picture of Alexis' during the parade! LOVE it!
Their last Homecoming!

Our Senior!

It was a great game and a great Homecoming!

Another HOCO morning

Waking up to day 2 of HOCO week and I am already on the struggle bus! Last night, Alexis, Tyler and I had biology lab to help keep us up and looking out for our yard............even though I went to bed a little after 10:00 and nothing had happened, only to wake up this morning and see we were rolled more in the night.

Where do these kids come from?!?! What time do they have to be home?!?! I mean, I do have questions!

But, at least there is no vandalism and its just toilet paper!.........and a little glitter and shaving cream....

Before I get into HOCO stuff....I am slowly doing Halloween decor! I know, I just cant help it! LOOK how cute my ghosts are!!

I just love them! :)

This was our kitchen for 3 1/2 hours last night. Alexis' College Dual Enrollment Biology lab is due today so we worked on it last night and whew, it took awhile but she got it all done. To be honest, I have NO clue what in the world she was 'experimenting' .............but, she said she got the answers and all the things she needed done...............sooooo.....

I basically cleaned and rinsed and watched Tyler and her.................while peeping out our front windows. That was all hard work too! :)

And, this morning, look at our Hawaiian girl! Today is beach day and Lily nailed it! And yes, she has a bathing suit top on over her black shirt!

The rest of our weekend & HOCO week!

We had a semi lowkey weekend and I realized I didnt snap any pictures too!

SO, we started off strong with Lily's friend birthday party. It was a great time and super easy! It worked out that the football game was away so Alexis headed off to Centerpoint and enjoyed that big WIN while we celebrated Lily at home.

Saturday was full of football and then celebrating Lily was the family dinner with Nan, Pawpaw, Brandi, Gran and Ben. I realized I didnt take a single picture .............and also realized the cookies (that she picked out for it) and the candles that I brought....stayed in the Walmart bag by my feet. I totally forgot about it until we were leaving.

Then Sunday was full of Church, lunch, delivering our reclining chair to this lady that said she 'lived by us' but was 30 minutes away...and then just doing the usual, getting ready for the week stuff!

I love when I get screenshot pictures when I am not around of Lex doing her favorite thing.

So, last night...this pitiful thing happened. It was about 8:30pm and I just happened to look outside and noticed this so I go and open the front door. Well, I must have scared them (and them, meaning I dont know who all it was) because I heard running and doors slamming. I couldnt see anything because they ran down the street and didnt come back past us. Also, notice the truck in our driveway. I think that helped detour the group to roll because it was there or it could have just been, they thought they saw me and ran. Who knows! ha! Carson took Alexis to dinner and was over chatting with us so he got to witness the pitiful excuse of the rolling job. ha!

They must have only been out there like 2 minutes before I 'caught' them....

Well.............either they came back........or it was a different group....but I woke up this morning to this! A MUCH better job and our driveway is full of glitter and shaving cream too. So, they redeemed themselves if it was the ones that originally started!

Welcome to Homecoming week!

Day 1 of Homecoming week, PJ day! Lily looked so cute!
