The rest of our weekend!

 I do often feel I need another weekend, just to recover from my actual weekend! But hey, its all good stuff and wouldnt change any of it!

Since it was Fall break, we finished off our week with enjoying and relaxing on Friday. I took off and we had a 'fun' day planned but we all wanted to just lounge so we did that and had a full day of watching movies and then we went to dinner once Tyler got home from work!

Saturday was full of Cross Country and then watching that poor Auburn football game. (I just cant talk about this season...boo!) followed by Church and all the other things in between!

Reese came over for a bit on Friday night...and they did this! Reese is so talented! Lily's nails look so great! Like a professional, salon, great!

Then Saturday, this one had a Halloween party to get to! She had all the fun!

Dont get me wrong, Alexis had all the fun too! I just dont get pictures from her! BUT, I got this one! She enjoyed the JAX State cheer clinic with these fun girls!

The Wildcat Classic

 Lily is winding down with her Cross Country season. I have to say, it isnt turning out like it did last year. She peaked about mid season and just crushed it but this time around, it has been a learning curve for her. 

Pushing yourself and giving it your all while digging deep....are the lessons happening but overall, hey, she is out there doing something she loves that I am just amazed that she's doing!

Runner up at Regionals!

 TALK about a complete turn around from the Sunday before! The girls have HUGE potential, they have the drive, they have the grit..............it just takes a Coach to pour into them and well, that sometimes isnt the case.

SO, despite all they have had to change and do, etc............they went out on that mat and CRUSHED the routine they have been given.

The best I think I have seen them since Alexis' freshman year on the mat!

They can do SO much more, but what they did on that mat at Regionals showed and they got Runner Up!

So proud of them and what they have overcome with so many challenges that has nothing to do with them!

On to STATE next!

We found this gem in Texas and LOVE it so much that we were all super excited and starving....to eat there!

A JAX State WIN!

 It makes it hard to have a College football game on a Wednesday, especially when it comes to having to function the rest of the week! :)

But, Alexis and Tyler enjoyed the game...even though he had to 'work'.....

and Lily and I enjoyed dinner and a quiet night of watching movies instead!

They had a beautiful evening and a huge WIN!

Its always a bonus with you have friends with a suite!

Sunday comp day!

 Alexis had her 1st cheer competition of the season on Sunday.

They came in 1st place, but only because they were the only co-ed team. Overall, their routine was okay. They had some work to do for sure! BUT.....they will work it out and be ready for the next competition, no doubt!

Her Senior season is winding down!

Trekking!

Alexis had her football game on Friday in Lincoln! They had a big win and I heard it was a great game! We didnt make the game because Lily had to be early to get to sleep so she could be ready for Saturday!

Lily had her Lineville Cross Country meet on Saturday so we were up bright and early to make the trek to what her run. She didnt have her best run, but she made it through and will move past and focus on her next!

It was a beautiful Saturday to be out though!

But.............cold.

We are having colder mornings these days so Pearson's face explains how cold it was! ha! It warmed up fast, though, so all was good!

Doing her thing! She started out so strong but then by mile 2, things went downhill....

Then we got home....................and THIS happened. I mean....... I have NEVER seen such a ridiculous game in my LIFE! The AU vs GA game...oh my goodnesss!

Kirby Smart is the most horrible coach and GA did not deserve to win!

 Soo....Tyler did a thing Saturday!

He did it last year and got 2nd....and decided to do it again this year..........

and WON!

So, he missed out on our trek to Cullman but super proud of him for his 1st place win!

An EARLY one!

 WHEW......Saturday was an early one and BOY was it hard to get up SO early and after a football Friday night!

Pearson spent the night with us because her parents had other obligations so her, Lily and I headed out SUPER early to make the 2 hour trek to the Cross Country meet!

It was a beautiful Saturday out in Cullman and a great meet for Lily! She ran a 23.50!

We enjoyed lunch before the trek back home to where I spent the rest of the day doing laundry and watching football....................and just about nothing else because I was exhausted! Lily spent the night with Ellie and Alexis had a date with JC so that left Tyler and I with a very quiet home to which I enjoyed with my blanket and a book! Perfection!

At 4:00 in the morning...............Pearson was a WHOLE vibe! OH I laughed at her!

They slept the whole ride there.............so they were READY once we were!

 We are winding down on the football games...which makes me sad because they are my favorite and it only means cold weather and basketball season is closer....

 When I found (or should say, Tyler brought it to my attention) I just knew that as long as the wildflowers grow....I will be taking pictures with them!

We could have waited another several weeks for them to grow more but, anyways, we went this weekend and I LOVE them!
