Love a good photo session!
Two Christmas cuties!
LOVE when it starts to look and FEEL like Christmas at home!
My favorite!
I cant really pick an area to say it isnt my favorite part!
Love putting out Nannie's Christmas village she gave me each year!
LOVE out this tree is 'fun' and has all of special memories and ornaments from our fun trips too!I think this year, this is my favorite look ever! Love the red pops!
Same for my mantle! Always love that Tyler cuts these branches for me each year! LOVE!
The Messers were in town and you all know......when that happens, we take advantage!
We all enjoyed the JAX State game and a big win that will carry them on to the Championship game at the end of this week!
Then everyone came over to our house and we enjoyed football foods, smores, laughs, more football and just catching up!
The game was at 1:00 so that means it all opened at 12:00............which means, this hungry group of girls went straight for the food when we got there!
Love these girls!
Found this guy! They braved the cold to watch the band, etc. I watched from the warmth behind the glass of the 5th floor! :)
Then this crazy crew spent the rest of the evening and into the night hanging out!
And............doing smores too!
Just some randomness from our week!
A friend sent this to me of him and Tyler running! I thought it was a great picture of Tyler doing what he loves!
When they do love each other! proof!
And found this gem......when they did love each other, too, and we matched! ha!
These ladies went shopping and enjoyed the afternoon!
We had not one but TWO in one day! Another Thanksgiving on Tgving at Lana's in B'ham.
Always a good time and tons of food!
THIS baby...oh my goodness the sweetest and tiniest little thing!
Nannie with her great and great, great grandchildren!
Us girls!
Just a him and I picture! Which is rare so I'll take it!
Enjoying the delicious food!
We enjoyed Classic on Noble for Thanksgiving with the Law side.
Sad to say, they will be closing at the end of the year so we made the most of our last time to go!
Hopefully new owners will take over, so we shall see!
Their Christmas decor is always so beautiful!
Family pic!
Our Thanksgiving week long break has come to an end and we are now back to the regular groove!
Tyler and I enjoyed our Tuesday, free of the girls, though we didnt do anything but 'around the house' items since it rained all day. It was a nice slow day!
Wednesday was filled with the girls being done with school so we had a 'fun' day by doing some shopping and then the girls went and saw the second Wicked movie together and since there wasnt anything playing that interested us, we bowled!
I have to say...
he didnt let me win...........he would NEVER..........
and I beat him 3 of the 4 games we played! ha! :)
Im not bragging...... much..... :)
We had Thanksgiving dinner with Gran, Ben and Andrew at Top of the River to kick off the Thanksgiving food!
This is the only picture I got of the whole day's events!
Found this and thought I would do Wordless Wednesday a day early since I have my computer out, doing some work (yes, it is Thanksgiving break, but there are still student issues and questions that I feel need to be handled sooner than later due to them trying to prepare for the upcoming semester-that approaches SUPER quick!) so here you go, Wordless Monday! :)
So, not going to lie..............
Tyler and I are happy....we have two days to ourselves! :) The girls have school so they are learning and loving school while today was an absolutely beautiful day and we took advantage of it by hiking, shopping and having a great lunch together! It was much needed and a great time!
We did...n't......... miss the girls but happy they were growing brain cells at school! :)
I will NEVER claim to be a good selfie taker! ha!
But a beautiful day, fresh air....................and this view! And....for sure got our steps in for the day!
Just like that.....Senior year football season is done and now we are moving, full STEAM, towards basketball!
Alexis kicked off the season with the first home game Friday night against our alma mater, SAKS!
Jacksonville girls and the boys team looked great and had big wins! It was fun to watch both teams and see Alexis in action!
A great way to kick off our Thanksgiving weekend/week break!
Love our Senior. Their new basketball jersey outfits looked so cute too!
READY for some wins!
This was the first year to allow girls to try out for just basketball. There was a huge turnout and now a big squad!
There she is!
I finished up some MORE Christmas decorating and even wrapped a couple of gifts!
WHOO HOO! ha!
Meanwhile, we threw in a JAX State WIN and a Friendsgiving with all the other things like Church, etc too!
It was a full weekend!
Alexis enjoyed the suite life!
With some of her long time friends!
I mean, this was just YESTERDAY with WK!
And then Lily was busy with her best friends!
Alexis officially had her last football game, ever, Friday night.
It was a perfection of a night for a game and it was a good one, too, even though they did not come out with a win.
The atmosphere was great and we could not have asked for a better ending of her Senior season with a home game too!
Lily and her crew!
It has been a great ride watching her shine and doing what she loves!
WOW, it got here fast!
Picking out Senior quotes, and Senior drape picture and baby picture for the yearbook!...........it is here!
She picked this one for her yearbook baby picture!
SO adorable!
And, I remember taking this picture and like it was yesterday!
To say I am posting this TODAY.............has made my DAY! :)
So Lily is our child, that loves Christmas (let me say) BUT refuses to put up the tree until after Thanksgiving...all the things.
I have NO idea where she gets it from!
She is such a 'black and white' person so if 'they' say.............Christmas needs to wait until Thanksgiving, then that is what happens.
SO, to my SHOCK this morning.........
she comes walking in my bathroom with a Christmas sweatshirt on!
I thought it was a joke (at first) but she informed me that she wanted to be 'festive' today!
The Lord woke her up and she saw the light............and put all the holly, jolly spirit in her!
SO.............
what did I do.....
you ask..........
I took a picture of her in front of our tree! (and she didnt huff or puff about it and smiled!) :) The Lord is working! ha!
AND.....
on the way to school.......
we blasted Christmas music and we sang the whole way!
My day is MADE!
So, ended up having Monday and Tuesday off since Alexis had another cheer competition so it called for another trek to Bham. Then Tuesday they were out for Veteran's day!
So, we soaked up more fun and all the things!
I didnt get a single picture but this one on Monday! BOO!
Tyler and Lily went with me on Monday since it was Alexis' last competition.....(just wow!) Alexis took the bus so we had lunch and then hit the competition! Lily was excited Kelby was there because a lot of the students came (because they got to miss school).
We yelled for Alexis and the team! They placed 5th in State! So proud of them!
We got Lex and then Jey rode with us, home, after we all enjoyed Cava (a delicious restaurant!) It made for a long day, but a good one!
Tuesday, Lex got to have a little fun with Cocky!
And then Lily got to have fun with P!
These two crack me up! Never know what they will be up to! They laughed and played games all afternoon! I cooked dinner, P ate with us and then she decided it was time to head home! ha!Always love an excuse to go to Birmingham!
Saturday Lex and I, along with KeAsiah, headed to a 'fun' lunch and then we visited Nannie for a bit before having to get to the Complex for the competition!
It was a beautiful but cold day to be out and about but we had fun!
I prewarned KeAsiah, and Nannie did not disappoint! You just never know what topic she'll discuss or what! Yeah....
We enjoyed seeing her apartment and having lunch (while she ate) with her!
Regional Division winners! They have worked so hard!
