Grey is 6!

 WOW!

Our little man is 6!

He is just growing up so fast!

It was so sweet to see him with his little friends running around and having the best time!

He is loved!

 His cake was so detailed!

All the parties!

 This weekend was PACKED with alll the parties!

We have so many friends and family that have birthdays in February! 

And............alll the people are turning 16!

It is hard....really hard to believe and really crazy to see the ones that are 16 already actually driving cars! ha!

First up...Sydney's sweet 16 was Friday night!

These girls had fun with all things pink and Taylor Swift!

Next up...Lauren's sweet 16!

Aaliyah just turned 16 but opted out to ride with us instead of driving since the place was way out in PV.

Allll of these girls enjoyed the dj and dancing!

Junior cheer season underway!

 It is here!

Her Junior year cheer season is kicking off!

Tryouts just happened and all the things gearing up for it is starting next week!

My goodness, time flies!

Getting finished with tryouts! She was number 10!

We had to rush home for her to shower and get ready for a 16th birthday party. So, we had to come up and check out the board in between events!

She made it!.........................of course no doubt! :)

Sweet Mackenzie was there too checking it out! Cant wait to watch these Juniors!

And Lily wanted to tag along and was excited to see alllll her friends that made it on Junior High! I cant believe it is time for this group to be in high school soon!

Academic Honors award ceremony!

 Last night Alexis was invited to the JHS Academic Awards ceremony and it was an honor to watch her walk across the stage!

She works so hard and I honestly dont know how she does it all especially during basketball season with games two and three nights a week!

While we were watching, I told Lily that she'll be up there next year! :)

Is the tooth fairy coming?!?!

 OHHHH....I have not laughed so hard....in awhile...more than I did this afternoon!

So, we actually had our teeth cleaning appt Wednesday and Dr. Spivey said that the tooth that was loose, would not be coming out any time soon.

So, this afternoon, when Lily started yelling and running to Tyler to PLEASE pull her tooth...because it was hurting and bleeding....I was really surprised!

So....Tyler grabbed a napkin...

and went to trying to get it out!

BUT...oh MY goodness...the WHOLE time...

Lily kept muffling and saying.... 'Daddy, is it the right one?!?! Do you have the RIGHT one?! Are you pulling OUT the RIGHT one!?!!' 

She would not stop saying allll of that over and over as he was trying to get a grip and pull it! I was laughing so hard! Like...really...he was going to pull out the wrong tooth?!!? :)

I mean...she is almost 13 and we are still trying to get allll of her baby teeth out. JUST crazy!

Her 1st DNOW

 Since she has been in youth, she has not been able to go to DNOW because she has had basketball games on the weekend of it each time.

Well, this year.......

the teams ended their season WAY sooner than the past so what little of a life she has outside of cheer, meant she got to go to DNOW!

She had the BEST time!

We dropped her off Friday afternoon and got her back after Church today!

Loved hearing all about what a great weekend she had and how she met new friends from other schools too!

It made my heart smile!

We capped off our Sunday with a Caf lunch...and a Wal-Mart run and now Lily and I are back bingeing Harry Potter while Tyler and Alexis are soaking up Sunday afternoon naps! :)

Friday they ate at the Church and then went to their host home for the rest of the night and did fun activities!

 Then Saturday was FULL!

Alexis said she had the best time!

They went to lunch during the section between services and enjoyed that...

And then did a Thrift Store Prom fashion show! She said it was so funny!

She didnt go to bed until late but then up bright and early for Sunday breakfast before Church!

 During the service, they highlighed the ones that went and talked about all the things they did!

Harry Potter!

 Yeah....not been a Harry Potter fan.

When we went to NYC, it was obvious that we were missing out on something BIG! Especially when we went into the Harry Potter store. It was PACKED! I mean...for a movie series that was years old..........the love and fascination was huge!

So, a friend of mine had the bulk series....

so what did Lily and I do...

on a freezing cold Saturday....

we binged Harry Potter!

Yesterday and today we have seen the love of Harry Potter! Lily is hooked. I am 'okay' with it. I do have to say, I really dont have the love for it but glad I have watched what we have to know what all the world is talking about when they talk 'Harry Potter' language! ha!

The big stack of disks by the TV. The Easter decor....and me and comfy socks!

So, while we were bingeing........ I took down Valentine decor and went ahead and put up Easter. I stayed in comfy clothes because it was a perfection of a day to do that and we had Harry Potter on! ha!

Throw in cleaning, laundry, Tyler grilling out and....well, I would say Auburn basketball...but that was a disaster....but, all in all, a low-key and a perfection of a Saturday!

Dinner with friends

 It has been a busy week full of all the things so it was nice to slow down Friday night and have dinner with the Rays and Leigha!

Also meant, I didnt have to cook! :)

We dropped Alexis off for her DNOW Church weekend and kicked ours off with a bang!

She just looked so grown as we were waiting on everyone to get there so I just had to snap a picture!

I took the girls for a surprise Valentine's treat to the new doughnut shop before I dropped them off at school! We dont do this day in a big way but wanted to something little to let them know that they are loved BIG by us!

Notice Lily's wrist! She made Valentine bracelets for all of her best friends...to give them this morning! :)

 Lily had her Dancing With Your Star dance Saturday and had a very special date!

The Predators!

 Tyler and I have never been to a Nashville Predators game so when one of his co-workers mentioned it, we were excited to get to go with him and his wife!

They are a really sweet couple and we have really enjoyed getting to know them!

We had a wonderful time and loved that the Miles' knew exactly where to go and what to do! Tyler and I didnt have to worry with anything!

The game went into overtime with the Predators winning! The energy, the excitement, the sheer exhaustion of how the guys have to be because they literally never stop, the big crowd, just all the things....made our 1st 'big' ice hockey game so much fun!

We have been to the Birmingham Bulls games before (I have only been to two but Tyler has been to more) but this was just a whole different level!

We ate SO good and just had the best time!

Brooklyn got us matching Predator scarfs so we had to take a picture!

Friends!

 I love that my girls have their friends and their sweet relationships. It makes my heart smile to know that they have friends and their Moms, that love them like I do!

I know there are friend Moms that I can depend on and vice versa and I love that too!

I also love that even though the Messer girls are not around us....that they all still have a special bond!

Football and Cheer banquet!

 Yesterday afternoon held Alexis' Sophomore football season banquet.

The cafeteria has had a great makeover so there really wasnt much decoration needed!

Though it was a dark and rainy day, they had a great banquet!
