Lily had her first high school soccer home game last night. They played against Hokes Bluff and though they had their full Varsity team out there and they did a bunch of pushing and shoving, our girls pushed hard but did not come away with the win.
It was a COLD and WINDY one for the books! We were sad about the loss but not sad to be home in the warmth!

They dont get to come to my office as much as they did when they were younger. In the past, I would load up their favorite toys, coloring books, snacks and they would love to sit and be in my office.
Now, both are going in completely different directions and one is driving so them coming in doesnt happen anymore.
But, on days like yesterday, I had a visitor!
Lily texted me that she really didnt want to sit up at the school and possibly be forced to practice since they had their first home soccer game, so I went and got get her................and some Taco Bell and we enjoyed some time before I had to take her back to the school.
I looked over and saw a flash of 'little Lily' sitting there even though there isnt a sign of her around anymore which is so hard to believe!
But, happy that she got to come and enjoy her food and us have some chat time!
I always had wondered...thinking...goodness, it will be such a long time until Lily is playing high school soccer...........as she was 6 out there on the field running her little legs off, but here we are!
Last night marked her first high school soccer game and I just cant believe that she is out there!

I have to say, it was shocking to here that her new love and passion is running Cross Country and Track.........because I thought and know how much she has always loved soccer...but, it is still in her veins and she had fun out there too!

Last night was the JHS pageant.
Alexis looked beautiful and did her thing on stage but unfortunately, the outcome did not go her way.
Though it was a jab in the stomach, it was a humbling experience where she learned the things she needs to work on, how to hold her head and shoulders high, shine and continue to do her thing!
Supporting and happy for her friends were what counts and we are all so proud of all of them for getting up there because it is not easy!

Time is flying and he just makes me smile and I just love to see him happy so getting to celebrate him was fun!
Of course he had a roller skating party! His little legs were adorable as he went around!
Lily cracked us up because in her older age, her talent has dropped with skating! She used to be a pro but this time around, it was harder and funny to watch her! :)
We fit in the party and some errands before I had to go continue with helping Alexis get ready for the pageant. It was a busy day!

Last night we got to show off both girls and how hard they work at school.
Lily's first Academic Awards and Alexis just has one more! CRAZY!
Though I dont know how they both do it between all the cheer.........soccer, track, etc...
they do what they need to...with only a little bit of coaxing from me. :)

The weekend was full of DNOW for both girls! This is the first year that Lily was able to go and she was SO excited about it!
They were gone Friday and Saturday night and had the best time! I loved hearing all about it once we got them back after Church this morning! We had family lunch and then came home and they both took a loooonnnggg nap! :)
I loved that Alexis grew with her friendships with her Church friends! She had so much fun with them!

Tyler and I............though he would NOT take a picture with me...........enjoyed a low key night at home watching a movie and enjoying no noise or anything since both girls left for DNow at Church! We had a date night the next night to celebrate and it was a great night! (Though he still wouldnt take a picture with me!)
