Basketball days...I mean nights...
OH my at ALL the basketball. It just literally never ends. It is winding down...but ya know, we are actually good (girls team) and the boys team is surprising us (which means MORE games) so the game count keeps rising!
And, because of the seed they are in, we get the very last games...which mean they dont even START until 8:30pm or AFTER.
Yeah.
Crazy.
So, we made it to the girls game last night and they blew Saks away. It was almost not worth watching, so I talked to people, alot, and other things but enjoyed being there and supporting.
It is just long.
And I am not a huge basketball fan. So, it is a struggle though I want to support Alexis. ha!
So, probably wont be at many more, but it was a great win last night and crazy to think Alexis' wont be doing this all next season!

Another long weekend-because...its so COLD!
Well, we had a long weekend, last weekend, because of the holiday...well, this weekend, we got an extra day because of it being so COLD!
It ended up being 'fine' ya know, they are always cautious....and I ended up being able to work from home so us girls enjoyed an extra 'at home' day!
Tyler, of course...............went into work!
We all looked like this, pretty much the entire weekend! Curled up and comfy!
Lily decided she wanted to paint!
And then she asked big sis to do the writing because she has gorgeous writing skills! This all pretty much sums up our long 'extra' weekend though we did venture out on Sunday to Church and lunch! It was raining and cold, but we did survive being out!

A long weekend!
I have to say, normally I feel like January is about 5 months within itself but so far this year, it is flying by. We are already almost to the end and it has been super busy but also we have had a chance to slow down, on the weekends, and it has been great.
Our long weekend was just that. We ran the errands, cooked out, went to Church, had lunch, Lily spent the night with Reese, Alexis hung out with friends most of the weekend, and Tyler and I had a breakfast date, and of course, laundry, etc to cap off it all.
I didnt even take many pictures but it was a good one!
Today the girls are even still out of school for a 'E' Day. So, while Tyler and I are working, they are at home still relaxing and doing online schoolwork that is due!
So, here's to winding down January and the first month of the new year!
Lily sent me this picture of her and her best friend!
And....when your Dad buys a potato that is bigger than your body...and makes you SUPER happy....you make the largest mashed potatoes you have ever seen. She actually couldnt finish it all in one sitting!........ but loved every second of eating it!

WAY to GO Alexis!
She has been doing so good in her Dual Enrollment College classes!
And....LOOK what she was honored as from JAX State!
So proud of her!
Emerging Scholar!
A different look for the new year!
New year..............
new office space!
Yep, moved (in one day) from downstairs to upstairs. I loved my space, that I had but this new space is HUGE and once I get adjusted and all things settled, it will be a great space!
For now, here is what I have. Still waiting on my actually desk and furniture so kind of in limbo, but I am making it work!
Our first full weekend of the year!
The first full weekend of the year consisted of...................
a nice relaxing, no rush kind of start!
Saturday was a bust (but in a great way) with storms and rain all day. So we literally did nothing!
Saturday evening, Alexis and I did load up to go wish the JAX State cheer team the best and watch them do their UCA Nationals routine. They did great and know they will do great this week competing!
Sunday was full of Church and all the things getting ready for the week!
This was me the entire Saturday until I had to get ready to watch the cheerleaders. I actually started and finished this whole book that day! ha!
No complaints from me!
Good luck JAX State! Two Church girls ready for the day!

1st day of Spring semester! Ending 8th grade and SENIOR year!
Today marked the girls going back to school! Their 8th grade and Senior year is winding down and yet, starting up this round!
Miss Lily ready for 8th!
And..............well, this is Alexis' first day of school picture! She's the blob on the bed still curled up while the rest of the world has to get up and function. Sigh. Senioritis is this girl's middle name.
Lily has teeth!
It has been years. Literally she hasnt had a mouth full of teeth since 3rd grade. Even her doctors are just amazed at how her teeth took awhile to fall out and then her adult teeth just would not come in.
Well, the surgery she had over the Summer actually worked and it has been GREAT to see the change!
Now, since the Summer, she officially has a mouth full of teeth!
She is so proud and happy and to think that is something that she has had to deal with has just been crazy!
So, now the road is to straighten her up and then hopefully it wont be much longer that her braces will be off!

How it started and how it ended!
I mean talk about drastic! ha!
How December started.............(which was amazing and so fabulous!)
To how the month of December ended................. (I would say, the month of December...just cant be beat!)
Ringing in the new year!
We had the best trip, as usual, with some of our favorite people!
We hit the beach and enjoyed it all the way down to the sunset!
LOVE this picture!
What it is all about!
We cooked in and played games the rest of the night. SO fun!
I mean...Pictionary never disappoints!
I mean...never!
The next day was the coldest so we enjoyed a fun breakfast and hanging around the house while the kids played, etc before going to the Shard Shop. We have done this one time before and it is awesome. All of theirs turned out SO good!
Alexis did a butterfly! Im telling you...gorgeous with the final product!
Lily did a starfish and same. So pretty! We headed back and went to a fun dinner at Louis Louis to finish out our fun day!
The next day!...............a mid day treat before picking up their art and then some shopping before heading back and having a fun NEW YEARS eve!
Always fun to have New Years with this crew!
We rang in the new year strong and enjoyed our trip!
We got up New Years day and headed home....to tons of laundry! ha!
The kids always love to play and do scavenger hunts. It is always so fun to watch them and how they are paired. If you can see, Alexis was with Calhoun and then Lily was with Camille. Madelyn and Cassell were the other team. They love making videos and doing this together! I love how they are all like brothers and sisters. Their bond is so great. We love them all and had a great trip!
Rounding out our 2025 year with the beach!
We always love taking off to warm weather...ocean waves and all the things after Christmas so thats exactly what we did!
The weather was perfection while we visited Aunt Pam and surprised and had lunch with LaLa but then turned pretty cold the rest of our trip with the Messers and Rays, but it wasnt too terrible enough for us to not enjoy our time!
We got down to visit Aunt Pam and then enjoyed this sunset/view while we relaxed and let Charly catch his ball! We enjoyed a yummy dinner and spending time with them on our 1st afternoon!
It was such a lovely evening!
And the sunset was a 10!
We got up and headed to the beach before heading to Fort Pickins! The Marine layer was thick at first but the weather was beautiful and it cleared quickly!
I have never been to a fort before so it was really neat to see it all!
To walk around and know that this all was active in the 1800's was just wild!
We did a hike to see the Eagles nest and ended with THIS view! Ahhh!!!
