Both girls are striving and working and we are so proud of them. Between allllll the practices and alllll the games, etc, I just have my own head spinning with it all, yet, both of them handle what they need to and make it all happen!
So, last night they were honored for their hard work during the Academic Excellence Awards at school.
Looked good to see so many being honored
Lily is moving on up in the world. Finishing out her 8th grade year, means bigger things are happening!
With her dual roster for both Varsity and JV in Soccer and Track, she is the only 8th grader doing it!
And, then last night, she had her National Junior Honor Society induction.
She works hard both on and off the field and we are so proud to watch her shine and continue to do all the things that she loves!
Lily had her official first soccer game last night and it was beautiful (finally) though it did turn cooler so it was a good thing the game ended and we didnt have to sit out longer with the wind/cold.
I am so ready for warmth!
They played Sylacauga and did so well! They even were ahead 1-0 the entire game until close to the end, they let them score.
It ended 1-1 as a tie.

Love watching her. She got a pretty hard kick in the mouth with the ball, but held tough and after the shock wore off, she didnt let it phase her. So proud of how she is playing and her love for soccer showing!
We got Lily back after Church so we headed to Hubbards to celebrate with her since we missed her all weekend!
It was good but whew, expensive too! We had an expensive weekend! :)
Then, we got Greysyn and spent the afternoon with him. We did all the things and enjoyed the afternoon.
All the games were played before coming to our house for a bit to see Soccer!
We never really make Valentine's day a big deal, because I do have to agree that it is an overrated holiday..... but, we had a great day and enjoyed trying out Blue Fin since it is a new restaurant.
It was really good but also really expensive. Whew!
We didnt have Lily with us but she was living her best life and enjoying getting more Jesus in her so we missed spending Valentine's with her but we had fun too!

Lily had her first DNOW by herself since Alexis had to work cheer tryouts and then had basketball games.
She was apprehensive at first but on Sunday said she had the best time when we got her after Church!
It was packed! So many churches and their kids!

Whew, this week.
I dont think anything else could fit in this week. But, let's clap. We made it through.
The Football banquet was supposed to have been like two weeks ago, but we had that cold 'storm' so it was cancelled until today.
It was a beautiful day today and it was sunny and WARM. I am loving how we are moving toward warmer weather!
So, today marked the end of an era.
Her Senior table looked great and she loved celebrating their football season!
