So apparently there was a big fight that started with the Oneonta's head boy's soccer coach against our boys because he was mad that JHS won the game. I do not know all the details but because of that, the next game was decided to not be played by Varsity but by the JV since their season was cut short was all the game cancellations.
So, on a Thursday afternoon, we got the notice that Lily was playing again the next day! Well, Tyler already had plans to work on a truck and I had my hair appointment so we had to miss some of it..........
and of COURSE it was when Lily made a goal!
She texted me (as the game was playing............and she should not have had her phone....) because she was SO excited she scored!
I hated to miss but made it to the game, later, and watch that only goal be the whole rest of the game! The other team scored right close to the end to tie the game, otherwise, her goal would have won it! BOO to that but very proud of her!
LOOK at that scoreboard! I got there right after it.
Proud of this girl and now, officially, her season is now over. She ended on such a high note!
