Lily's soccer season is here!

She killed it last night. Like the best I have ever seen her play. She was on fire. We could see from the stands how much she loves soccer. I told her that if she plays like she did last night, the rest of the season and only got better from where how she was, she is going to have such a great season and I look forward to watching her play!

It was a COLD but beautiful night. They didnt play a full game because of the temps but we pushed through and it was great to watch her out there.

And, I just cannot describe the absolutely beautiful sunsets that Jacksonville High School has around their school. Just breathtaking!

Last night was one of the prettiest I have ever seen there.

They played Oxford and it ended with a scoreless game but the entire time the ball was on the Oxford end more than the Jville side and those girls hustled against a good Oxford team.

Proud of our number 34!

Even with how cold it was, it was a beautiful day!

Soccer nights here we come!

Fun to watch!

Look at her go!

She did so good!

Such a beautiful Memorial for Andrew

It was exactly as I had hoped it would be for him. The people that loved and truly cared most for him gathered and it was a packed house with people having to stand.

It was beautiful.

God was there. He was felt.

I could not have asked for a more special and perfect day for my brother.

Just beautiful

AND....this baby. She is an angel. She was just pure perfection the entire day....and it was a long one and she just smiled and let everyone under the sun hold her and OH my goodness, I am stealing her one of these days and Meg is just going to have to get over it!

A big group of us enjoyed a great meal at Dad's BBQ after (since Andrew used to work there) we shared laughs and memories and ate.

It was a great ending to the long day.

A very hard post to make on my brother

 Andrew.

Yeah.

This is hard.

Not going to lie or sugar coat it.

He lived a tough life on this Earth but he also loved with all his heart and made it a better place because he would do anything for the ones he loved deeply.

Getting the call, while somewhat trapped in a place that I could not leave, was a tough one and knowing there was nothing I could do with the news.

Losing him will be something that we have to face especially on the hard days like holidays but I thank GOD that I wont have to worry about how he's doing or where he is or if there is anything that can be done for him. He is at peace. He is home.

As hard as it will be here on this side of Heaven, I am thankful to know where he is.

I pray for Grey's little heart that he understands and knows what has happened and that his Dad loved him more than anyone. That his Dad is now guiding him and protecting him from above.

I have no doubt that he is the most beautiful angel there is and there is a pretty awesome dynamic duo looking over me now and.....I smile.

Basketball Senior Night!

As many basketball games that there is.........................................

Last DD Semi

The official last event for Alexis was this past Saturday.

Her last DD Semi.

This formal is more low key and the girls typically go and enjoy the night because they have dinner and there are rewards given out, etc.

Its a sweet way to end their time as they are Seniors!

It was a wonderful evening

A night that changed the world

What started out as a FULL day....whew, it was a busy one....turned into a night that changed the world.

Full day at work and enjoyed a retirement party for a co-worker, dinner and then the Miss JAX State pageant with Lily and two of her friends ended with the knowledge that my brother passed away.

Just shows how quickly life can change.

January 30, 2026 was a hard night.

That morning, Tyler checked the mail and THIS one got some sweet mail. She was selected for the National Junior Honor Society!

Smart cookie!

Then that night, Alexis had basketball games, Tyler refused to go to the pageant :) so these three and I enjoyed the evening. Sweet friends!
