Today marked Lily's last day in 8th grade!
She is SUPER excited about Summer!
And........SUPER excited to be a Freshman coming up! (She just thinks that is so 'big!')
She has had a great year and we have been so proud of her hard work and how much she has grown this year!
AND..................shocking...............I KNOW..................shocking..............she wanted me to take a picture of her with her book.........because she is matching it!
Let me just SAY.............she was fighting me.................I mean, literally saying how she would never read and how that is NOT fun and allllll the things...............
so for her to have THIS picture.....just no words!
But I love that she has found that she loves books and she and her friends talk about books and read them together too! (In fact, that book is borrowed from Pearson!)
It makes me happy because I love reading! (and when we curl up together reading our books, I love!) :)

Lily loves her friends! She is a loyal one! So glad she had a great year with these by her side!
