Since we have really done 'Christmas' with everyone..........our family Christmas has fallen on Christmas Eve morning!
This Christmas Eve morning was a little different than the past............to where both girls slept in. (Normally Lily is bright eyed and bushy tailed...but she is officially in 'teenage' zone and sleeps in these days too)
and Tyler.........
well...
went for a run and then came home (later than normal) with 8 stitches on his knee. Yeah, the rock won while running!
So, we kept it low key and instead of Daddy's famous pancakes...it was Bojangles Boberry biscuits for the win! (not complaining because boy they are good!) :)
Then the girl's cashed in their Ella Jingle gift with Starbucks..................opening family gifts before getting ready and heading to Church of Highland Christmas program and then dinner and Christmas with Gran.
Followed by rushing home to get in bed for Santa!
(Who am I kidding...............I baked cookies, all by myself, and put them out for Santa----to which both girls didnt care and didnt even eat a cookie) soooo..boo...on that ! :)
Alexis refused a picture!.............so this is the best I got...ha!
But, notice her gift! Lily wrapped it and once she was done.................she died laughing saying it looks like a Hershey kiss thats been ran over.
She was right, that is what it looks like! ha!
Alexis loved what was inside though! Lily is a very thoughtful gift giver and picked out all of Alexis' favorite things!
