NYC Part 1!

There are just no words for our trip! We are exhausted, hate having to come home to a HUGE pile of laundry (that's me! ha!) and boy do my feet hate me.....................but..............OH my goodness we had the best trip!

NYC at Christmas is just something special!

Is it crowded, yes............but did I do an amazing job of booking reservations and avoiding the crowds by going different ways, yes and yes! I so missed my calling of being a travel agent, party planner, decorator, etc. Yeah, maybe my next life!

The group we went with...was eclectic, meaning I didnt even know Wanda and Addelyn, but now they are some of my favorite people! They were Felicia's friends and tagged along with her...which ended up being with Tammy and I (and our crew) and it all worked out great!

We did ALL the things.... from the top of NYC to the bottom of NYC and throwing in SNOW at Central Park.............................................just TOPPED it OFF!

Amazing!

So, here is day 1!

We got up bright and early at 1:00am and hit the road to the airport! We had a super easy experience (remember last trip we missed our frist flight)  and relaxed while we waited to catch our flight! Then once we got to the hotel, unloaded, we literally hit the ground and didnt stop the rest of the trip!

First stop, Chinatown! Whew, us 10 bought it OUT! ha!

First NYC group picture! We were READY to GO!

All the kids! They outnumbered us, but they were a great little group so we were fine!
Subway was a hit! We mastered it and learned how to map it and all!
Us girls!

Then after Chinatown, Little Italy and hotel for rest and unpacking....this crew hit Rolfs! A very famous German restaurant known for its over the top Christmas decor! And YES, it was OVER the top! It is very hard to get reservations so we got it but the other four did not but they had fun plans to eat while we ate here and then we met back up!
SO much Christmas!

Lily was dying for Schinzel and so excited to tell her friend Calleigh that she ate it! (this is not the veal that you should have...it was chicken!) She didnt eat the 'real' Schinzel (but she thinks she did!) ha!...and they did have the veal option.

On our trek to Summit One Vanderbilt after dinner! 93 floors behind us in this picture..........yeah, we went alllll the way up!
SUCH a cool experience and so happy we went at night though Im sure during the day would have been just as great and fun but the lights at night.................awesome!
Each floor had different art themes. SO cool!

SO fun!
Very interactive and just amazing!
93 flights up! WOW!
Nothing cooler than seeing Rockefeller Center and the tree from this high! The people skating looked like ants!
Just beautiful!

After, we headed back and crashed! SUCH a full and fun first day!

I mean....all the Christmas tree stands! My love language!
