Lily is 14 and celebrated with her besties!

 We had a house FULL of girls, last night, and it was by far the easiest birthday ever! Dont get me wrong, both girls.......and their friends....have been super easy but last night was just what I needed.

Lily was celebrated, they had so much fun....and it was perfection!

They ate, walked, hung out, danced, laughed, sang, made videos, played air hockey, basketball, ping pong....all in the basement and Tyler and I enjoyed a movie while they had all their fun! ha!

Lily felt the love and all I really had to do was provide the fun and some balloons! :)

Gosh, she's 14!

She wanted 'fancy' but 'fun'.....so she helped set up the table and decor!

She loved her cake! I was shocked she picked all  pink stuff!

Present time. She went through each one.....bit by bit! They disappeared after this and didnt really see them again until I saw headlights and taillights out front and them running to their cars to leave.

 She is making her way! Last night was her meet at the Anniston soccer fields. She did 24.40 so not as good as she wanted, but better!

Remembering 9/11

 I distinctly remember where I was and what I was doing on 9/11 all those many many years ago. I was in College in Auburn and I was leaving my math class. I remember hearing about it on the radio and rushing to Tyler's apartment (we were dating at the time) to see if he knew.

It was SO hard to watch!

So, in honor of 9/11 I did the first, annual, ROTC Remembrance Stair Climb. It was a challenge for SURE but it was more emotional knowing the brave who sacrificed their lives to help save people they didnt know from that horrible day.

So, I climbed 2,075 stairs. 110 flights yesterday!

They had a bell that chimed when each building was hit and a moment of silence and then at the end, bagpipes played and taps. I think it is awesome they did this and already looking forward to next year.

We were ready!

It was a beautiful morning to honor!

I was in the paper. Bleh! ha!

There was a huge turnout!

We DID it! BOY, I am sore! But it was worth it!

DD Scavenger Hunt!

 Alexis had the DD Scavenger hunt last night and it is always a fun event for them!

She had so much fun and it is hard to believe her time is winding down with it all!

Their team didnt win, but they had a blast anyways!

Our 1st JAX State game of the season!

 We try to make it to some JAX State games and that was just what we were able to do Saturday!

It started out as a beautiful day and then a storm came, delayed the game an hour and a half so that left us with heading home and me curling up with a book!

I count that as a win too! :)

We found our guy! He sat with us even though he had to work!

Pearson took Alexis' ticket since she was with WK in their suite. Yeah, she got the suite life this time and the rest of us didnt. Thats okay though because we didnt stay the whole game and enjoyed a fun lunch with Tyler instead!

My favorite was seeing the Southerners AND.............watching to of my favorite (NEW) JAX State cheerleaders out there! Loved seeing Dailyn and Sydney!

After the delay, the finished and a big WIN!

Throwback to a Friday night-little Lily version!

I swear this was just yesterday! We miss the Messer's!

Friday night lights with special visitors!

 It was a good game, though they came up short at the end against Moody. It was another perfection of a night to play some football AND have some special visitors!

Mal and LaLa surprised us to eat and come to the game with Maggie and Reese!

It was the girl's first ever football game to go to so they were so excited about it and SO excited to see Alexis cheer.....and sit by Lily! :)

Alexis met us for a bit before she had to go do 'cheer' things. Maggie only wanted her to help fed her. Maggie has come SO far with her eating and trying new things! Very impressive!

 We are knocking down meets and games and games and meets right now!

Yesterday Lily and her team did the Rainbow City meet for the first time and whew, it wasnt a favorite and it was hot!

Lily did a 25.35 so, not terrible but not her best but overall the team did well and the boys placed 3rd!

My favorite time...............when I spot her coming! Makes my heart smile to know that she is almost done and that she is making it!
