 Tonight marked the kick off to my most favorite season!

Cross Country and Football/Cheer!

It's my girl's favorite and I just love watching them do what they love most!

It was flooding rain! Thundering...with the sun out...right when it was time for them to leave! Just craziness all of a sudden!

What's been going on?

 We have been busy. And whew, we havent even officially kicked off Cross Country meets and football games yet!

This weekend we helped with JSU Move-In day! It was great to see the hustle and bustle of the students moving in. The girls got to help out and then we had lunch. I didnt take a single picture but it was a good day then we ran some errands and ended the night relaxing for a bit at home before hitting the sack!

Sunday, full of Church, lunch and all the things so just like that, it was over and now back into the new week!

Special time. The rain came down....and just in time, ended and then right when the event was over, it started back. Thankful for the break in it so they could have the ribbon cutting for the new Serenity Garden at JSU! The reason so special?.........because Tyler designed it himself! Proud of him! It looks beautiful!

Tyler sent me this on his run. I mean.............this is WHY I wouldnt run....but he keeps doing it! ha!

Talk about beautiful...but NO WAY would I want to run into that!

He calls himself...'Web catcher' as his 'running name' because of this! ha!

AND...Look at the Seniors! Ready for the season to begin FRIDAY! whoooo hooo!!

3 Things!

 Gosh, it has been a minute since I have done '3 Things' on the girls!

I have just forgotten about it, to be honest, soooo.....

Let's play a little catch up!

Alexis!

1. She is taking this SENIOR thing seriously! Everything is...'I have to do it, because it is my last time.' 'I have to make the best of ____ because I am a Senior.' And, she FOR SURE is soaking up the fact that her Senior schedule is a breeze to where she doesnt have to be at school until after 10:00am!

2. She's applied to Colleges! She has kind of made her mind up on what direction she wants to go, but we shall see what all happens and I can just say, I have prayed and prayed about it and put it in HIS hands for her path.

3. Just all things growing up. She is learning the ropes and how it is important to get to things on time, spending money, all the things. It is hard to believe that her 'being on her own' is racing close soon!

Lily!

1. She is loving being 'older' in school. Moving up to 8th grade world, apparently, has its perks! She is all about all the things 'being older' such as fashion, hair and make-up. She used to not care.....one bit...about any of that but BOY has that changed now!

2. Cross Country season is upon us and this girl has been running her long legs off! She loves this season and we are excited to watch her!

3. Taking it hard about Aubie. She has become worried about Soccer, more, now that Aubie has passed away. She thinks he isnt drinking enough water, loves on him extra, etc. Goodness, I tell you, she loves hard. If she is your friend, you will know it, she will say it, and she will fight for you. Between Soccer and Reese (her best friend) you dont have to worry with knowing that Lily will be sure they are taken care of and Lily will help and do whatever they need! You want Lily as a friend!

A very hard day

 Yesterday was a very hard day.

I took Aubie to be put to sleep.

Talk about TOUGH. My goodness, it was so hard.

He has been month or so with watching his decline that we made the decision that we felt best and after talking to Dr. Brom, yesterday, it was. 

So, we all said our goodbyes and now we have his little grave to always remember him.

This is how I will always remember him as this was one of his most favorite spots to be. You could always find him here!

Lily's 1st official day

 Well, today marks Lily's 1st official day of school because she said Friday was a 'waste of time' because it was just rules and only half the school!

She is so literal.

So, today is Lily's 1st day of 8th grade!

Senior Sunrise and girl's night fun!

 Early...........I mean early this morning was Senior Sunrise!

All the girls spent the night with each other and did all 'Senior things' like painting their car windows, etc and then all went together to the Senior Sunrise at the school.

It was very overcast and drizzling rain so they actually did not see the sunrise, but enjoyed breakfast and pictures and fun!

She came home right when Lily and I were leaving to go to school/work so we got to see her car, decorated, and hear all about her morning.

It was so nice for all the Seniors!

All the memories made! There were a lot more but left before this picture because it started raining harder........

They have started running together and they love it!

 We got to see allllll the babies over the weekend!

Love seeing all that side when we can!

We popped over to have dinner and got to catch up!

Then the rest of the weekend consisted all things ready for the very busy weeks ahead because school is back, work is in full force, just all the things, and throw Church, etc in the mix too!

Allll these kiddos love spending time together! (And just look at Hank's new hairdo!) So grown up!

And, it was Reese's first day of Kindergarten so it was fun hearing all about her day!

And sweet Maggie, doing so well!

And this one! Maisie has grown so much since the last time we saw her.........when she was only 4 days old!

She is excited! She was actually READY on time this morning, it was all a miracle! :)

Our big 8th grader! She was ready 45 minutes before she was supposed to be! This one, with all things literal said that technically Monday is what she is considering her 1st day of school because everyone will be there on that day. She said today is a waste of time and they will be doing nothing with only half her grade (meaning half her friends) there today...

I mean...with this one....

I know she'll have a great year, being stubborn and all! :)
