Full weekend of fun!
We have had a very fun filled weekend starting Thursday night after cheer leading practice for Alexis!
She had her very first spend the night birthday party! Alexis' very good friend Caroline invited her to her birthday party and they had SO much fun! Caroline's Mom said they played, watched movies and laughed and 'stayed up all night!' :) Nobody even got sad...or scared and wanted to go home! They all actually spent the whole night there! :) Oh, she is growing up so fast! I love seeing how excited she gets over experiencing her 'firsts!'
To keep the fun weekend rolling... LaLa came and picked up the girls and they headed to Birmingham!
Alexis and Lily love spending time LaLa and Vic and they just were beyond excited to go! They headed to none other than the 'best place ever' {per Alexis} Chuck e Cheese!! They played games and played games and enjoyed Pizza and 'Chuck' himself! :)
LaLa took the girls to the YMCA pool Saturday before heading to Aunt Pam's house to finish out the fun by cooking out and riding on the boat with Pam, Richard, Ben and Gran. There were two very tired little girls when they got home yesterday!Tired because of all the fun they had! :)
Tyler and I enjoyed having some quality time together with a couple of date nights and movies! We love our girls...but it is good to have some time...and quiet time...together sometimes too!
This morning we all woke up {after a much needed good night's sleep} and headed to Church! After Church we had lunch with the Grogans at Solid Rock followed by the POOL!
What a great...FUN weekend! :)
Blake came and hung out with the girls!! Love him!!

At the end of the day...
9 years! Ty and I have been married 9 years on this day!
To look back at all the years and see how far we have come in our relationship and our love for each other is just wonderful to see!...........
From when Tyler and I began dating, then marriage I have grown so much as a person. I know I have alot to still work on and every day I strive to be a better wife because I know that it will only benefit our relationship!
We have built such a great life together in these 9 years and are raising two beautiful sassy little girls! I am so thankful to see how far we have come and all the memories we have made together!
Now dont get me wrong.....our marriage has not been all sunshine and roses. We have had our not so good times and we have had bad days and have cried and yelled and even not so much liked each other too. With those not so good days, we still have managed to grow and keep hanging on together.
But......at the end of the day, even if I am mad at him, my world would be upside down and my life would not be complete without him! :)
I look forward to the rest of our lives together and can not wait to see what our future holds!
Through the good and the bad, you are the one I love and at the end of the day who I am thankful to have!.........

Has it been that long?...
Today is always the day that I have a lump in my throat remembering what happened on this day those years ago....
It has been 4 years since my Dad passed....
It is true that time really does fly and so it goes, that 4 years have come that my Dad is enjoying Heaven and smiling down on me.
I miss and love my Dad everyday. Especially when there are big events in my life that I sit back and think that he would be so happy to be here with us to experience them with me.
I do have the comfort in knowing that he is in Heaven though smiling down on me and me knowing that he is watching from above! One day I will get to have one of your great hugs again but until that day, you will always be missed and loved from down here.....

A little bit of this and a little bit of that...
Well, I havent been posting as much lately as I normally do because...well, I have been tired! :) We have been busy and with throwing cheerleading practice two times a week in the mix is wearing me out! ha!
Cheerleading practice is going really well! The girls are slowly but surely getting what it takes to be a cheerleader! :) Watching them catch on to learning new cheers, etc is so great to see! I am loving being a coach...but it is hard too! :)
A few other things that have been going on in our world is Aubie has officially become a Law! :) What I mean by that is he is fitting right in to the family! He is such a sweet kitten and goodness does he have some energy! He reminds me of the girls in that he can just keep going and going!
Alexis is officially thinking that she is SOOOO grown now that she has turned 6! Everyday...and I mean everyday!!....she measures how tall she is and says how much she has grown since turning 6! :)
Lily is growing and blossoming too! She is still not pooping in the potty though! I am hoping with all my heart that she will start using the potty to poop! :) She knows that she needs to go in the toilet but for whatever reason, she will not use it!
Some things Lily is saying and up to these days!...She loves to say 'not no more!' {Not sure where she got that from but it cracks me up to hear her say it!} :) She still loves to say 'hold you!' and still LOVES her 'Giraffe-e' :)
As you can see from the picture....Lily has worn off the hair completely from her Giraffe's tail! She drags this stuffed animal everywhere!
AND!!!....Alexis officially is riding her bike without training wheels! SOOO proud of her!! She road around and around the JSU track this past weekend! Her Daddy was SUPER proud of her!
And look at this cutie riding her tricycle! :) She had fun riding around too!

Super fun day birthday!!...party!
Today was the day that Alexis finally got to celebrate her birthday with her great girl friends! Due to her birthday being close to one of..if not the...most celebrated holiday, she isnt going to get to actually celebrate her birthday exactly on time due to a lot of people going out of town to celebrate the 4th!
That is perfectly fine though...
because she does get to celebrate her birthday with fireworks every year! :)
Today we loaded up...with the help of Gran...and picked up Avi, Caroline, Sara Kate and Carli for a very SUPER fun day birthday!!
The girls had lunch and fun...complete with having their toes done! :)
I got each girl their own cute pair of flip flops and polish! Their face when they got them was priceless!!
Started out the fun day with none other than where Alexis chose...... McDonalds! :)
They each ordered whatever they wanted!
Then we headed to the nail shop! OOOooohhhhh the decisions that were made! haha!! They cracked me up deciding on what colors to have! :)
This birthday girl only wanted polish that had 'sparkles'!! as she said!!

When we got home.....Lily bug was out cold!
We got Lily up and going and headed to Piedmont pool! So fun and so nice with a huge slide and water squirters!!

Then...headed home for popsicles and catching fireflies!!
That stick was licked dry! :) We had a super packed day on our fun day! Straight down to the last hours before bath and bed! I know two girls that hit the pillows hard! :) Tyler and I continued the fun day with movie night after the girls were in bed! The movie Nonstop was really good! The fun just isnt going to stop! :)
