Friday after Thanksgiving!!...getting all dressed up to do some black Friday shopping!! {only for them to ditch us and so Tyler and I ended up having a surprise date night!!} :)

Though we didnt beat Bama this year, highlight of the day was to wear our Auburn gear for the last time of the season!

The End of the Season Ceremony for the cheerleaders! Such a fun time to honor these sweet girls!!

Fun day/night with my fun girl! We love to go to Birmingham and so we headed that way to do some shopping and then to eat with the Murphy's!! AND THEN.....to the Alabama Theatre to see 'So You Think You Can Dance!!' A great time with my little one!!

Nothing like just relaxing on the couch watching Christmas movies!!

We watched the Grinch! The girls LOVE this movie! {Sad thing is...right after this, Daddy took Alexis to the doctor because she started running a high fever!!...only to find out she had the FLU!!!! :(   She ended up spending until Wednesday with Nan and Pawpaw!}:(

We missed 'Sissy' while she was at Nan and Pawpaw's!! But before doing some shopping at Wal-Mart...why cant you eat McDonalds at Taco Bell???.........if you are Lily, you sure can! And that is exactly what she did! :)

Nothing better than having three...yes, I said THREE Christmas parties in one week!!! Yes, the 1st of the parties was our work party!! We all brought food and we had a TON!!!! Too much!! Oh my at the food! We all enjoyed eating....catching up and then swapping Christmas ornaments and telling the meaning behind why we bought the ornament that we did! I loved hearing the stories!!
Round 2 Christmas party was the Exchange Club and then Round 3...my Dirty Santa-Tacky Sweater party!! Whoo hoo!!! :) :)

She is HOME!!...she is HOME!!....We celebrated Alexis being back home by cooking 'Frozen' cookies!! YUM! :)

Date night with this handsome guy to the Exchange's Christmas party! It was so nice!

I love when it is time for my Christmas party! I just LOVE to have my closest friends and family over and just have everyone enjoy talking, catching up and just having fun!!

Bright and early the next day after a Christmas party!!??.....but MORE fun by seeing Santa! Love this family!!

Busy busy Christmas fun!!

We have been BUSY lately with alot of Christmas fun!! And...we have alot left to do before Christmas Day is actually here!

Poor Alexis had to miss her Christmas concert at school last week because she was hit with the flu bug! :(   Poor thing, she was down for the count for several days! She spent the time at Nan and Pawpaw's and thankfully started feeling better each day!!

Ella Jingle still came over to Nan and Pawpaw's to check up on Alexis! She was up to no good there! Alexis was beyond excited that she came to their house too! :)

Tyler and I had a date night while we attended the Exchange's Christmas party! It was really nice! They had a big dinner followed by the Marching Southerns performed Christmas songs for us and then to top off the night....Elvis made an appearance!

My Dirty Santa Christmas party! I look forward to this party every year! I hope to keep continuing to have it! I didnt get any pictures of the decorations...except the dessert table! :)

And...the winners of the Tacky sweater contest!!! Tricia and Meg!! {Alexis was the one who chose! I think she did it because she actually liked their shirts because they had animals on them!!} :)

The next morning we woke up early and headed to Birmingham with the Grogan's to see The Polar Express at the Alabama Theater! It was SO nice!!

The kids got to visit Santa before the movie started!!

I told Kelly about it and her and her little family joined us! It is always sooo good to spend time with her!!

Lily sat in Daddy's lap and enjoyed the movie the whole time!!

The famous organ preformed before the movie started! We sang Christmas songs! SO fun!

After the movie..we headed to Newks for a GREAT lunch! YUM!

After lunch we did some shopping...followed by meeting our old...dear...friends Alison and James Michael Moyer for dinner! I got to finally meet their baby girl Annsley!! She was soo tiny and Laynee and Alexis LOVED helping her walk!!! :) :)
We had a long weekend with tons of fun things! We are tired but it was all worth it!!

Wordless Wednesday!

The most fun!!

Like I said in a past previous post, we have had a lot of fun Christmas things going on lately!

Alexis 'skipped' school Thursday and had a super fun day with Aunt Pam and her third grade class! She spent the night with her and then Thursday went with Pam's class to see the Nutcracker! Alexis LOVES all things dance...and sparkles....and singing! She had SO much fun! They topped off the day by eating at Cracker Barrel and then going back to Aunt Pam's classroom!

Alexis loved getting to know Pam's students! Nan picked her up and headed to weekly dance class!

Then yesterday, I checked Alexis out early and we headed to Birmingham to see 'So You Think You Can Dance!!'

It was SOOOOO great! I have to say, we got our monies worth! The choreography was amazing and the dancers were just unbelievable! I didnt realize how long it would last {it was from 7:30-10:00PM!!} Those dancers had to be super tired because they danced their hearts out!

I want to continue the 'tradition' of going every year now because it was so great!

Alexis did fall asleep about an hour and 45 minutes in to it! Poor little thing tried soooo hard to stay awake, but she just could not do it! She curled up in my lap and was out! I hated that she missed some of it, but I shook her awake at the end so she could watch the ending....which was the BEST! They danced to Taylor Swift's song 'Shake it Off'...which is Alexis' favorite song....and it was SO good! It cracked me up because when I woke Alexis up...she was half out of it, so when she heard her favorite song she started dancing along......but because she was half asleep, she looked like a zombie dancing! I was laughing so hard! She was cracking me up until she fully woke up! {But even half asleep, she wasnt going to stop dancing!!} :)
Alexis informed me that she is now a third grader because she got to go with Aunt Pam's class! :)

It is Friday.....cuteness!

Alexis and I headed to Birmingham for a super fun 'just us' day! I love that I have my girls and I can NOT wait to do fun things with them as they grow!! I just can not wait!
We surprised Margie at her work {Kendra Scott at the Summit, super cool}!! She was soooo surprised and Alexis was SUPER happy to see Margie! She loves Margie and she thinks she 'hangs the moon!'

Then we when to an awesome place that I just love!!...Superior Grill! They had a pretty Christmas tree behind us, but Alexis was frustrated because they had some ornaments on the tree upside down! She just couldnt understand why they would do that!  :)

Loved getting to spend some time with the Murphy's!

LaLa and Meg ended up getting last minute tickets so they got to go too! Though they didnt get to sit by us, it was fun to walk in with them!!

Jacksonville Christmas parade!!

Tonight was the PERFECT night for the Jacksonville Christmas parade!!

Last  year.........we FROZE as we watched the parade!! This year though it was great!

Us C-Team cheer group loaded up in the back of Tyler's truck {that was decorated SO cute!!} and joined in on the parade this year!

Alexis was beyond excited about being in the parade! She told me when we got home that she had SO much fun! She said that her favorite part was shouting hello to her friends that she saw as we passed!! :)

Lily watched the parade go by with Nan and Pawpaw while we rode in it! She told me that she had SO much fun too and that she loved getting candy and seeing all the floats! She said that she saw the Grinch and that he was bad! :)    

COCKY joined in on the FUN!! :)

 These silly faced girls loved throwing out candy, yelling and waiving at people they knew, doing chants, singing Christmas songs and shouting Merry Christmas as they rode down the parade! Such a fun memory!!
