Where does my life begin...ballet recital!

Today was ballet day! :)

It was a busy day but OH so sweet!

I absolutely LOVE watching my girls do their thing on stage!

It makes my heart smile!!

Alexis was awesome today! She was in both the 12 and 4 o'clock performances and she did great! Alexis and I enjoyed some girl shopping and we hit DQ for some yummy ice cream to pass the time in between shows! We had a great 'girls' only day!

So pretty!
Lined up and ready to hit the stage!
Her group did awesome during both shows! Alexis and her ballet friends danced to 'Where does my life begin' which is from Rapunzel!
She amazes me!
See....
amazes me!....
Perfect position with perfectly pointed toes! :)
Lily's turn! OH my.....TOOOO cute!! She danced to the song 'Early birds' hence why they are 'birds!' :)
She has perfect techniques too! :)
Little SASSY thing! :)
Having soooo much fun! Love that smile!
Awards time! Alexis loved getting her ballet award! So proud of Alexis!!...technically this is her 5th year already of dancing! My goodness time has flown! She will get her 5 year award next year here though because she has only been dancing 4 years at Shelia's since her 1st dance year was when we lived in Birmingham! :)
And so did Miss Lily!
I asked Mal to go up and give them their flowers! They were all smiles when they saw her waiting on them!!
Alexis checking out her award!
My girls love these girls! Loved that they came to watch!
Gran and Ben! Nan and Pawpaw came to watch too!
Love my girls!
Nannie came to enjoy the show too of course!
We had a fun Mexican dinner with Gran and Ben after so we had to get a family picture 'beside the pretty wall' per Lily! :)

A Lake Winnie end of ballet day!

Talk about how much can you pack into one day....

Well, today was that day!

We got up bright and EARLY and  Alexis and I made it to Kittystone super early to catch the bus

because.....

today was field trip day!

It was the most precious thing to hear all the kids on the bus cheering and yelling with excitement when we pulled up to Lake Winnie!

I had never been before and it was a very fun field trip!

We booked it back to Jacksonville after our fun filled day to then head to Oxford for Alexis and Lily's last ballet practice before their recital Saturday!

Lily did have a t-ball game, but sometimes....you just cant fit everything into the same day so we didnt get to make it to her game since ballet was more important tonight since it is recital time! :)

And....whew!! I am tired right now as I type this since we flew home and did school work and baths and now...bedtime! :)
And we are on our way!! They were so good on the bus ride up even with it being a 2 hour trip!
Sweet friends!! :)
Abegail was partnered with us and she was so good and Alexis and her had fun walking around together!
Alexis and her friends rode all the rides...that they were tall enough to ride! They had a blast!
They are growing up way too fast!
Caroline, Sara Kate, Carli and Lex
I love the Antique cars! Oh.....in a second, this will be real life! OOOhhh....time slow down!
This was a perfect view from the air lifts that we rode. It was neat because they went out over the water too! The girls loved riding the swings! They rode them more than once because they loved it so much!
Mrs. Carrie had more fun than the kids did riding all the rides!
Some of the boys joined us to ride some roller coasters! :)
This was the biggest roller coaster! Alexis said after this one....that she wasnt a 'dare devil' anymore and that she didnt want to ride another big roller coaster again! :)
We hitched a ride with Jody and Ben...and some other chicks....so we could get back faster! It was a fun filled ride home! This little man......Mister Ben, cracked me up the entire time with his card tricks and jokes!
Next on the list.....ballet class! The last practice for these sweet ballet girls! :)
Love to see Alexis shining on stage! She is just beautiful up there!!
And then it was Lily's turn for her last class with her friends!
She did awesome up there and just smiled the whole time! I am super proud of her!!

Under God's Sea

Tonight we had Lily's end of the year program!

And...it was adorable!

The theme was 'Under God's Sea!'

Lily and all of her little friends did a great job doing all the motions to all of the songs!
This little girl is growing up WAY too fast!
This is how she feels that it is almost summer! :) {And not to mention, this is how she is when trying to get her picture...the girl doesnt stay still!} :)
She LOVED her board that was ALL about her!
All the memories! LOVE! :)
Gran came to watch!
Pawpaw came too!
And Nan!
This is the MOST precious....adorable...picture ever!
Love these sweet girls!
Kylie, Abby Grace, Lily and Callie!
The best of friends!
We are Under God's Sea!
Adorable!! The were just like scuba divers! They had their little 'scuba packs' on their backs that were made out of 2 liters bottles! Super creative!
She did SOOOO awesome up there! And....she is a mess!! :)
So excited for this little group to start Kindergarten next year! Sad Lily wont be with them due to her missing the age cut off {by only a short amount of days} but she will have her 'real' graduation next year and be ready to roll into Kindergarten behind them all!
This picture was when all the age groups came out to sing too. It was sooo cute how the babies were dressed like little sea creatures! Toooo cute! :)

At the top!

We had an impromptu trip to Cheaha State Park today!

It was soooo beautiful and a perfect day too!

I havent been up to the highest peak in Alabama in a very long time. So long that I dont even remember anything about it!

The girls loved going down the trail and then looking out over Bald Rock! {My goodness, we were high up...but not near as high as we were when we went to California which is incredible to believe!}

We capped off the afternoon by meeting Nan and Pawpaw at Pizza Hut followed by being at home now as the rain falls having 'family movie night' as Alexis calls it watching Puss In Boots!

A perfect day!

We made our way down the trail! So sweet....Daddy and little daughter holding hands and chatting as they made their way down! :)
This chick said she was 'super SUPER brave' and wanted me to take a picture of her on every rock she climbed! :) Sooooo, I did! :)
LOVE this picture! My whole world right here!
Lily was a little scared on this one! Daddy had to hold her tight! :)
Here is another one! My brave chick!
And really brave! :)
And we made it to Bald Rock! SO breathtaking!  Alexis asked where all was certain places and Daddy pointed it all out in the direction it was all in. Then she asked...'Okay, Daddy, where is China!' Bahahahaha!!! :)
Daddy and his girls!
Bald Rock models! :)
Then we went down to the 'beach' and did some canoeing! The girls worked on perfecting their paddling skills!
Beautiful view while we paddled!
This little girl LOVES....and I mean LOVES to pick flowers.....and her favorite person to give them to is ME! :) It melts my heart every.single.time. she brings me some! Everywhere we go, and she sees pretty flowers....she picks them and cant wait to hand them to me! I have constantly gotten flowers out of her cubby at Kids 1st where she had picked them earlier in the school day and put them in there to give to me that afternoon! It makes me smile! :) :)
They played and played and swang on the playground behind her for awhile before they got in the water!
Tyler and I got a little sun while these two got in the water on the 'beach'. It wasnt to cold but it wasnt warm either. The water was really shallow so they mostly just walked around and tried to catch fish! ha!
After, we got dried off and I changed the girls into dry clothes and we headed up to the Cheaha restaurant and we enjoyed a great buffet while overlooking an amazing view! It was an awesome day!
