5th and a Freshman!

Schoool's back!

My goodness, I have a 5th grader and a Freshman!

I hope it is the best year yet for both of them!

IF you know me...then you know some things!

1. The 'big' camera will be used

2. There will be 1st day of school pictures with the camera!

3. The sign will be used

4. We will stand in front of our home

5. Alexis will be missing and I will be begging her to let me take a picture of her! :)

The first day!

Today marks the first day of 9th and 5th!

They were extra excited about today....and we up bright and early and ready to go!............mainly because we were meeting friends before at Chick fila!

We shall see how day 2 morning goes..................since there will be no Chick fila or friends! :)

WAIT a minute! They were JUST this size........... it seems like yesterday!

Meet the teacher Orientation night for Lily!

Her 5th grade year is here!

She has waited her whole life for Callie Fritts to be in the same class as her....and this is the year!

Not only Callie but she has Jaycee, Ella, Stella and MORE too!

Lily is pumped!

I hope she focuses on her schoolwork! :)

Pray for the teachers!

I cant wait to see her have the best year yet!

Never have to worry with Lily. She is my very kind and does the 'little' things child!

We love Mrs. Tomlin.......and all the teachers she will have this year!

Love this! I remember feeling this way working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield because I constantly had to tell people what they did not want to hear and then when they would backlash, it would make me mad because they took it out on me though I was just the messenger. I had to learn it has nothing to do with me.

Our weekend of shooting, driving, sliding and eating at reunions

We have had a FULL weekend! Kicking off the last weekend before school starts back with a bang!

We kicked off Friday with a low-key dinner at home then Saturday was bright and early at Waffle House then the rest of the day enjoying the land, doing some shopping, while ending with cooking out at the Fritts!.............complete with a huge slide and the girls having a spend the night party!

Today was full of the Law family reunion, gearing up for the week, cheer meeting and all the things!

My Saturday morning started off 'wonky' as I realized..................my shoes were not the same! Ugh! ha!

LOVE these memories! I cherish this...that my girls always remember us enjoying the land together and having a smile on their face when they think back on it all!

Doing some driving! THIS WAS LILY THE ENTIRE TIME! OH my GRACIOUS!.....the girl would NOT pay attention or look in the correct direction to drive! WHEW....she has a long way to go to be ready to drive! Thank goodness she is only 10! ha!

Then...we went to Dugger MTN for a yummy treat...did some shopping in Oxford and then headed over to THIS! Back to school bash with this! Allll the kids had a blast!

Summer at the REC is winding down!

Lily loves the JSU REC center and is sad that this is the last week of fun since school starts back next week. She has done so many fun things to list but to say she has loved it all is an understatement!

Got these pictures of the petting zoo along with Lily telling me she held a chicken and then when she put it down it laid an egg........................and then ate it!
