4th of July Law vacation fun!

We enjoyed the Fourth of July this year with Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi in Auburn!! We love to go down to Auburn and stay at Grand National Mariot hotel! It is so nice and the girls love the pool! {And so do I!}

This is our last vacation of our long stretch and before I know it....Summer will be over! :( At least I can say that we are for sure enjoying our Summer so far!! {Even if we dont have any more vacations planned}

We headed down Thursday morning and came back today on our trip! We ate great food, swam, watched fireworks, shopped, and played out in the 'field' as Alexis called it by the pool at the hotel! :)

Last day at the pool! :( They swam and swam! We enjoyed the Shrimp Basket for dinner and shopping! It was a great trip!

Alexis is 6!!

Day is the day that Alexis has been waiting on since FOREVER! :)

For about 2 weeks now...everyday...Alexis has asked if that day was her birthday!

She would go to school and say my birthday is in X number of days! :)

Good morning birthday girl! Lily and I sang happy birthday to Alexis first thing this morning! :)

She requested Cinnamon rolls as her birthday breakfast!

Alexis' good friends Alexis and Nick Johnson got Alexis this fun water sprinkler.....and this cute card!
Alexis cracked me up because as she was opening it, she said "Mommy, this is going to be a cute card because Nick always picks out cute ones!" :) Then when she opened it...she came over to me and said soooo happy, "Look how cute this is card is and this kitten! I want one like this!!" Little did she know....what she was going to get as a gift from Daddy and I!! :)

Alexis chose Yamato for dinner! It is her most favorite place to eat! She LOVES the salad and the chicken with mushrooms!! :)
She was so excited to see that everyone joined her for her birthday!!

Sweet 6 years old! Goodness...before I know it, she will be sweet 16! :(

Birthday girl!!!

Alexis got alot of cute things from everyone! Brandi gave her this 'cat house'...first called dog house, before we let her open the cat...and she was sooo confused! She didnt know why she was getting this as  a gift! Ha! She tried to climb in it and sleep! :)

SOOOOooooo excited! Look what she did not even...at ALL...think she was getting! A sweet kitten! We are so in love with our new addition to the family! :) Aubie is his name so far! :)

Savannah weekend!

Oh what a fun weekend! The day has finally come that I got to finally celebrate something fun for my dear friend Lindsay!

We have been friends for going on 14 years now and throughout those years she has come to every big event pretty much my whole life! She and her sweet Mom have been there for everything for me!

I have been wondering when I was ever going to get to return the friendship...and this weekend I finally got to!

She is GETTING MARRIED!

Whoooo hooo!!

I am sooooooooo excited and happy for her!

I get to celebrate her and I am just beyond happy to get to do it!

6 of us headed to Savannah, Georgia for the weekend for her bachelorette party!

Savannah is beautiful!

I went down with 3 of the girls and it was so fun getting to know them on the 6 hour trip there and the 6 hour trip back!

They were all 7 years younger than me......

Needless to say........I feel really REALLY old!

They asked me for advice about everything under the sun once they found out how old I was compared to them! :) I was happy to give it..............but told them to not hold me to it all! :)

Made my weekend! I went down Thursday night after work since I had to be ready early Friday! SOOooo...guess who I LOVED hanging out with!? None other than my most favorite Mallory!!! Love her and LOVED spending time with her!

The beautiful future Mrs. Hunt! I am so thankful for our friendship! She is so beautiful both inside and out! Love love love her!

We enjoyed touring around Savannah. Savannah is so beautiful with beautiful homes and buildings and Trees. They had beautiful parks and trees there! :)

We actually did this! 2 hours on this huge bike thing! We pedaled it for 2 hours touring Savannah! That was an experience and memory that I will never forget..........and probably never do again! :)

Our house! It was gorgeous! They had completely remodeled it on the inside and it was unbelievable! The only thing was that it was so out of place as to where it was! It was around not so good homes that were all boarded up! Needless to say....we made sure to keep our doors locked!

This is what I had! Chicken Pot Pie! It was the best I have ever ever ever had! It was soooo creamy and just flat out HUGE!!

Highlight of the day.....no it was NOT this, but it was this being done!! Tyler and I moved 5 rooms of furniture to get ready for our new carpet coming Monday! Yeah, it took us a day and a half to get all the furniture moved and the carpet ripped out! It was NOT fun! :)

Highlight was NOT pulling up the carpet...or me hauling it all to the road or pulling a CAZILLION staples out of the floor, but the fact that it was ALL done!..........and ready for our new carpet!! whoo hoo!
