Ballin it weekend

We had a BALL this past weekend! Literally, we were around alot of balls! :) :)

We kicked off the weekend by heading to the Championship game at Pleasant Valley!! It was supposed to be freezing, but it ended up being a decent day {thank you thank you!} I was not looking forward to freezing at the game!

The boys ended up beating Hokes Bluff 19-0!! They did SUCH a great job!

We had several cheerleaders out {due to sickness and the supposed cold} but our girls did a great job cheering too!!

We are sooo proud of the C- Team for going undefeated the whole season! Great job!!

We loaded up and headed home for a quick lunch and then headed to the JSU Volleyball game! It was Senior night so in support of one of the Nursing students'....I had on my 'I love #9' shirt!  Nicole is a Senior nursing student! She was in the first group of students that I had when I started! :) :) The team won and it was a great honor to come and support her!!

We headed home after that to watch Auburn play! I am sooooooooooo sad!! They were stomped by Georgia! Auburn was set to win!! Still and Auburn Tiger, but down as to where the season is heading! :(

We capped off our weekend with Tyler and I having a date night! We headed to Oxford Sunday after for dinner and a movie! We went to see Dumb and Dumber To! It was dumb for sure! The title fit! We had a great 'alone' time together though and the movie was hilarious! We headed to Los Mex after for the best fajitas!! YUM!!!

Now, on to the week!.....    my surgery is Thursday, so say a little prayer for me! :)

Goooooo # 9!!! {She is the girl on the left!}
Above: Lily loves Mrs. Kristi!....and so she hung out and sat beside her during the game! At half-time, they went on the court to 'hit' the volleyballs!
Below: Cindy!!! I love love love working with Cindy! We both had on our 'We love Nicole' shirts!!
Love spending quality time with my main man! I loved how he laughed at almost every single part of the movie!! :) :)

Wearing scarfs now that it is COLD outside! LOVE scarfs! :)

Day 308
I voted!! Did you!?

Day 309
We worked on our 'Nursing Tree of Knowledge!' The nursing students are not in the building during the month of December due to finals at the beginning....so, we have to put the tree out early so we can have a chance to celebrate!

Day 310
Getting ready for her spelling test the next day! Working hard! Makes me soooo proud!!
Day 311
SOO proud of Alexis! Still in the all 'A' club!! :) :)

Day 312
Play-offs!!! C-team won again! Now on to the championship Saturday! Go Eagles!

Day 313
Sunday FUNDAY! I have had a terrible week with alot of things going on so to make my little home and family feel 'merry and bright'....we decided to go ahead and start decorating for Christmas!! Alexis was SOOO excited to help me! She was the best little helper and even wanted to vacuum!  :)  She also insisted on playing Christmas music as we decorated and wanted me to hold hands and dance around the tree with her! We did a good bit of dance moves as we listened to the music and hung ornaments! :) Sweet memories made for sure!!
Pictures to come of all the decor! I love decorating for Christmas!!
Day 314
Lily had her very first trip to the dentist! SOOO proud of her! She did a great job and got a great report!!

Day 315
The girls love helping me! Tuesday night I finished everything! The girls were cracking me up as they were helping me with this tree! They both kept saying 'Ohhh, I love this one!' 'I think this one is sooo pretty!' 'Yes, this one is my favorite!' {Talking about the ornaments as they helped me hang them!} :)
Day 316
Daddy and Pawpaw went to the Zoo with Alexis! It was cold for them....but they had sooo much fun! I loved getting this picture from a friend that went!

Day 317
Parent's night at dance! I loved seeing my girls in action! Alexis did SO good! I am so proud of how beautiful of a dancer she is becoming!!
Lily!!.............oh, Lily! She cracked me up the WHOLE time during her practice! This little girl of mine is something else I tell you! All the girls were dancing one way....and Lily was dancing the other way! I was fighting back tears of laughter at how she was! OH ME!!.... She is by far the tiniest and the youngest in the class.....and funny little thing has a ways to go with learning the dance....but I have to say, the smile on her face does show she loves being a ballerina! :)

Let's go to the Zoo!

Alexis had her first field trip as a 1st grader yesterday! The whole 1st grade crew loaded up on two charter buses {along with a 10 mile trail of parents following} and headed to Birmingham to the Zoo! I think at the beginning that Alexis was most excited about riding the buses! :) :)

It was a little chilly, but overall it was a great time for them! Alexis said she had SO much fun! She loved walking around with her friends looking at all the animals! She said her favorite part was the sea lion throwing the ball and catching it on his nose! :)

Pawpaw and Daddy went with her to chaperone!

I wish I were able to go but I was stuck at St. Vincent hospital prepping for my surgery coming up! It took ALL day!

I was able to meet them at Cracker Barrel in Leeds to round out their fun day! Alexis rode back with Pawpaw and Daddy on the way home so they rode the rest of the way home with me!

Alexis told me when we got home that a porcupine had stuck her on her finger. Come to find out, she was telling a big fib and she just scratched it while she was at the Zoo. OH her imagination! :)

Having fun and making memories with Daddy and Pawpaw!

Rounding out the trip with warmth and yummy food from Cracker Barrel!

Please come Ms. Tooth Fairy!

Today marked Lily's first visit to the dentist! I told her about it yesterday as we were heading to Church and she wasnt too thrilled. She got upset and said "I not need to go to the doctor!" :(

Alexis decided to try and make her feel better and therefore started telling her all about the dentist and what all going to the dentist entails! Alexis was doing a great job until Alexis started saying that she will bleed! OH my! That worked really well to get Lily excited about going!! :) :)

So, I picked up the girls and we headed. Alexis went first and she did awesome! She MADE SURE to ask if she had any loose teeth!!! Even with trying to explain to her that it is a good thing that her teeth are still in, she was a little disappointed that she has no loose teeth. That girl is WAY too excited to have a tooth come out because....per her....ALL of her friends have already lost teeth.....BUT her!

They said that Alexis looked great and that her 6 year 'big girl' molars are coming in! That made her proud to hear that 'big girl' teeth were in! :)

Then came Lily's turn! She was nervous and didnt say much at first...but after a great explanation of what all the equipment was, she seemed to be more comfortable! She did a GREAT job! She didnt get upset or cry at all! She listened so well and did what all she was told! I am sooooooo proud of her!

My big girl #1!!

And my big girl #2! {She was showing me how she was going to keep her mouth open!!} :)
She did SOOOO good!!

Happy Fall! Happy Fall! Happy Fall!

That time has come! November is here! It is in the crisp air and proven with the darkness that comes at 5:00pm.

I enjoy this time change in the fact that it helps me get up and going in the morning because it is daylight, but turning dark right when I get home from work is a BIG downside!

But, to find the 'silver lining'.....it is only a season and it will pass so we can make it with the darkness and cold!! :)

We have a busy November coming up and then moving on to CHRISTMAS!!...cant wait!

I have taken down all of the Halloween decorations, and now have fall  decor up! :)
Alexis loves me writing on the chalk board. She loves to read what I have written now that she can read really well!! Sooo....when I took down the Trick or Treat that I had up, she asked if she could write Happy fall! Happy fall! Happy fall! on it! She was SO proud of herself! She asked me to take a picture of her and Lily in front of it! :)

And....the time has come!....the thing Alexis has been waiting for since last year when she got it!.....the one and ONLY, WISH Book from Toys R Us!! Let me tell you, this company knows what they are doing when they mail this out to pretty much every child in America!
Soooooo....Alexis and Lily spent what seemed like the entire afternoon going through this Wish Book with a fine toothed comb to make sure they put every.single.thing.they.thought.they.will.want.Santa.to.bring.them!!!! Yep, it cracked Tyler and I up as we looked through it and saw what Alexis had circled with her name beside it and then what Lily had Alexis circle with her name beside it!
As I was listening to them decide on what to circle, Lily kept saying "Sissy...what am I going to get, circle this for me, put my name on that!!" :) :)
OH me!! All I can say is that this is a great tool that I get to use because any time now that they act up, I can bring up the Wish Book and say that something they circled, is OFF the list! :) :)
{And what was even funnier, if it was something Alexis REALLY wants, she put 'I like it!' by her name and the circle!} haha!

Best Halloween yet!

We have had a PACKED FULL Halloween this year! We didnt let a little rain or coldness stop us from having such a fun and memorable time!

The girls have had so much fun doing all of our Halloween fun events! I love making memories with them!
Lily and Alexis had a great time during Halloween Ballet class on Thursday! I bought these face decorations and they both were 'sweetheart ballerinas!' :)
Halloween is here! Tyler told me that he thinks I love Halloween over any other holiday! I have to actually agree with him! I love decorating with pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, witches!...it is just FUN! I love having everyone over and making fun food too! It is just a fun time! {Though, I do love decorating for Christmas too!!!}
Alexis, the Fairy Pumpkin witch and Laynee the little puppy that she name 'Pickles!'
SO FUN! We had 'Ghoul-ash', 'Mummies', 'Pumpkin brains', 'Abyss Soup', 'Frank's puddin', 'Wormville', 'Pumpkin goo!'.................yummy!

LOVE that Misty and Brandon came to the festivities!!
I had a house full!..............and loved it! Aunt Pam, Richard, Matt, Becca, Laynee, Walker, Nan, Pawpaw, Misty, Brandon, Andrew, Amber, Meg, Mal, Nannie and Hogan!!
They crack me up!! Meg did those antlers all by herself! Soooo talented!!
The pumpkin witch fairy and the 'unicorn' Princess rider!
The kids getting some candy! We didnt let a little coldness and a little rain stop us!
Some of the trick or treating gang!!
We LOVE our neighborhood! We have TONS...and I mean TONS of trick or treaters come each year! LOVE IT!
This was at one of our neighbors! Lily was NOT scared a bit! She walked right up to it and was just a looking at it! :)
We all came home and crashed. The kids dumped all their candy out and started eating it all!!
Meg and Mal spent the night with us after!!! YAYYYY!!! We stayed up really really late watching SCARY movies! Yep, Alexis said she wanted to so we did! We watched Chucky, and Candyman! Alexis wasnt scared at all! She kept saying this is just a dream, this isnt real!  :)
We woke  up bright and early and all of us headed to breakfast and then to Alexis' final regular season game! All of these cute cheerleaders were just trying to stay warm! It was cold!! We whooped Pleasant Valley and still remained undefeated! Now, next week playoffs!!
Loved that they came to watch Alexis' final game! My girls love them!!
After this we headed home for warm baths and then naps!! We spent the rest of the afternoon taking down Halloween decorations and resting! We geared up to watch the #4 ranked Ole Miss vs Auburn #3. Talk about another nail biter! OOHH me!!! It was an edge of your seat kind of greeeeaattt game!! Whew, we WON! It was SO close, but Auburn pulled it out! We have had a GREAT weekend!!!!.....
