Lily's Daddy/Daughter dance night!

Well, Alexis no longer has Daddy/Daughter dances....but Lily still does!

She officially has two left before her time is up!

Her and her Daddy enjoyed a dinner date at Baja before dancing the night away and then finishing off the night with ice cream at Dairy Queen with Mr. Chris and Madelyn!

Lily said she had so much fun and even danced with her Daddy some instead of ditching him for her friends. :)

Tyler took zero pictures....you know I asked him to take some....so....I have only one from a friend that sent me ONE.....so yeah....he's in the dog house!!

Daddy is keeping her warm. I got this one picture and then she ran in the house so no cute outside pictures this time. BOO!

Beautiful curls!
Came inside after two pictures but we live in Alabama so one day {literally its 70 degrees and the next its 30 degrees and SNOWING!} So....tooooo cold to be taking pictures outside!

My Lily!

Sassy chick!
Beautiful!

My favorite picture!

She even did her own makeup!

Love!

A little life lately!

Lily and her friend Lauren worked so hard in Science this week and made their light bulb light up!

She came home SO excited that it worked for them!

She also came home with the 'Runner's award' too where she reached running 10 miles at P.E.

So proud!

She is one busy girl this week! She has piano practice and today her first soccer practice and then Saturday the Daddy-Daughter dance! :)

A new ride!

Nan and Pawpaw surprised Lily with a newwwww ride this afternoon!

Her birthday gift came early so she can soak up alll the fun with it since the weather is turning so beautiful and its time to ride!

Alexis and I were not home but Tyler says she was SO surprised and happy! She loves riding bikes!

She loves the color and loves the fact that the bike is the same size as mine! {Like...really...say what?!! Just cannot believe it!} :)

She is just growing soooo fast!

The crew!

Then Nan and Pawpaw wanted to hear all that Lily has been practicing! She has gotten so good! So proud of her and cant wait to hear her once she is more trained!

Days like this!

 I cherish days like this!

This entire weekend has just been absolutely beautiful!

Its days like this that I just LOVE...LOVE...LOVE!

Get outside...make memories...soak up the sunshine...I just cant get enough and I am so thankful that Winter is becoming a thing of the past!

We had the best Saturday! We stayed at home and did all the things...you know...cleaning, laundry but then the girls and I took off on the trail!

I cannot wait for when the weather turns beautiful and we have a chance to ride!

The sunshine, breeze, fresh air, the chats, the laughs, the looking at all the blooming flowers, Lily ringing her bell at everyone we passed just made my heart smile. Memories that are something small and stress free....but that I hope the girls treasure as much as I do!

Just love!

We enjoyed the park for a little bit! We played, jump roped, checked out the creek, and just took a little break before we started back with the ride.

Last night we enjoyed the JSU basketball game! I have to say.....its the best game I have watched allll season and I have watched a BUNCH of basketball here lately! JSU lost right at the end to end their season! BOO! Lily had fun at Madelyn's bowling/spend the night party while we were at the game! She came home this morning, before Church, saying she had a blast but didnt go to bed until 1:00am so she is tired! {she has never gone to bed that late!} :)

Calhoun just loves his 'Joe!' He pretty much was like this the entire game! ha!

Then...........THIS!

These two! Yesterday and even as I am typing today....we have had both the front and back doors open to just soak up the beautiful days. Well...these two have SO enjoyed just sitting....like this picture and enjoying it too. They both dont move. Dont try and go out. They just smell whatever smell it is they get a whiff of {its funny to see their noses scrunch up and down!} and are just in wonder of what is going on! ha!

4A Basketball STATE Champs in the house!

It was an absolutely beautiful Friday yesterday! I mean I thought it was Summer! We made the girl's day and checked them out early from school and made our way to enjoy the afternoon in Bham before the State championship game! We did some shopping and then met the Sorianos and Christophers at La Paz for a fun dinner before making our way to the BJCC to watch the game!

It was a GREAT game...TONS of Jacksonville support and they came away with the win against Escambia county!

The student section showed out! The other team didnt even have one and if they did.......sure didnt see or hear them like ours. This was before the game started so by the time it did start, the section doubled!

Champs!

Great season!

Way to GO!

When Alexis was a baller! Throwback

These pictures popped up to me and OH my heart! Tball might not have been her thing................BUT....looking adorable and smiling was! :)

Lily's Vocabulary parade

Lily's 4th grade Vocabulary Parade is in the books!

Her word was monochromatic and once she found the word and knew she could wear alllll blue which is her favorite color, she was set!

It was an absolute perfect day to have it outside! Just beautiful!

All  blue!

Ready to start!
There she goes!

All the kiddos! There were some really interesting words and ways they dressed up. I have to say I dont think I have seen some of what I saw today in the past...and I have been to alot of Vocabulary Parades! They got creative!

Skating into 15!

Its hard to believe that some of Alexis' friends are turning 15!

Mind blowing!

Alexis had a great night with friends celebrating Cash!

Lily {I wish I grabbed a picture} had more fun...in my opinion...and hers...because she skated and skated and skated!

Alexis' 8th grade football/cheer banquet

Alexis celebrated an awesome football season yesterday at the Football/Cheer banquet. It was awesome to see her up on stage being honored for her hard work, for her All-American award and for her dedication and awards towards the competition team!

Way to go!

Love these 3 soon to be Varsity cheerleaders!

This wasnt all of the football players and cheerleaders but I snapped anyway!
Getting her award!

Grey turns 4!

His birthday technically isnt until the 26th but we celebrated him yesterday! We havent seen him in awhile so it was great to give him a hug and celebrate him!

Cant believe he is 4!

Time is flying!

We got Alexis back today. No pictures yet....just a TON of laundry and wet clothes and one tired and hungry girl when I picked her up. Currently she is eating lunch followed by a shower and a nap! :)

She said she had a blast and even ate great food. Hopefully I will get my hands on some pictures soon! :)

Gran got him this...and him and Lily rode it all around the food court. He had a blast. I love that they love playing with each other!

Happy birthday sweet boy! Just love him!

Academic awards for Alexis!

I almost forgot to share this...but want to even though it was cancelled and is rescheduled for April.

We will celebrate her then but wanted to post about it since it has happened now.

I know I am hard on both girls when it comes to school. They both know that grades come first and that studying, etc, is very important.

I am just so proud of both of them and especially Alexis when we got this in the mail the other week!

Just READ it!

Academic awards program for Lex! For students with an 85 or higher GPA.

That is amazing!

With all she does.....and how hard she works.

Just so proud!
