 It is that time again!

We always enjoy lunch and seeing everyone catch up at the Law Family reunion!

I have leftovers for lunch so its a win-win! :)

 Alexis participated in the Woodstock 5K this morning. It is a huge race in Anniston that is very popular and the DD Club always helps so Alexis was excited to get her community service hours in today!

After we headed to Gadsden and had lunch with Gran, Ben, Andrew, and Grey to get ready for Grey starting Kindergarten this week!

Cant believe our little guy is starting school!

Lily's start to her 'Senior' year!

 Lily is BEYOND excited about her 'Senior' year!

Going into 6th grade just completely changes their outlook and they all of a sudden become 'big' and 'cool' and that is exactly how Lily is right now!

She is SO sad that Callie has moved. Like talks about it every day! But after the 'Meet the Teacher' night, last night, her attitude has changed and she is excited about all her sweet friends in her class and she is excited to be back with them all!

It has made my heart happy for her!

Bring on 6th grade! Her last year at the Elementary school!

Lily is excited about having Mrs. Phillips as her homeroom teacher! She switches classes but will be with her most of the time!

Alexis Sophomore cheer season is starting up!

 Alexis had cheer pictures yesterday which kicks off her Sophomore season!

Cant wait to be back under Friday night lights and watch her do what she loves!

My last day of Summer!

 Yesterday marked my last day of Summer 'off' so I took advantage and the girls and I had a fun girl's day of shopping and lunch before having dinner with the Fritts!

We havent seen them since they have moved so we enjoyed Olive Garden and Crumble Cookie with them before heading to their new house to check it out!

It was a great last day of my Summer since Fall semester and all.the.things. are about to start!

Such a nice day to eat outside...........and have an ice cream cone!

And then...even had Crumble Cookie after dinner!

These four sure do love each other!

I mean...wasnt it just yesterday that they were this size and age!?!?!

Welcome to my new home!

 Fall is here....

not technically...but you know what I mean. When all the Summer fun ends and all the meetings start happening for Fall semester.........and school things start happening....

Fall is here in my book! :)

I have been super busy getting settled in my new office space and trying to clean out and organize to have a better and more efficient space for when the semester begins next week!

So, welcome in!

I loved my office space at Brookstone....... but knew this day would eventually get here once the old hospital could finally be moved in once it was renovated for us. We are still living in the renovations........but I am pretty settled and can function around here now at least!

I tried to get a full office picture but I couldnt make it happen due to the door and the hallway. Behind the door in the back of the picture is a great space that has my filing cabinets and a work area for my secretary and I when we have alllll the student STUFF we have to sort! :)

This is where I intend to live out the rest of my days at JSU.....so I have put my own personal little touch on the space! Of course that means......all the pictures of the girls! :)

The front corner! Nice and 'homey' for when people come in to chat! :) It has ended up being a great little space that meets my needs so I am ready for year 10 and a new and exciting semester to begin soon!

Lily's pottery camp!

 Lily had pottery camp at Donoho in July and LOVED it!

She just got her finished pieces yesterday so she just had to show them off and talk about them all! She is so proud of them! She called Meagan and let her see them since she loves that Meg does pottery! 

So happy she did something new and loved it! I love both my girls love for being creative!

DD Pool party & community service!

 Not sure exactly what we watched yesterday as it was really comical............

but the DD rats did their pool synchronized swimming routine!

They just laughed most of the time! ha!

Then after, they all got cleaned up and went to dinner/shopping before their community service event at Martins. The Kiwanis' Club and Martins teamed up with local foster families to let the kids back to school shop for FREE! The DD's got to walk around and help the kids shop! Alexis loved this!
