Beach trip 2016~Part 1!

Whew, we are back to reality today and Im already missing the beach!

I have so much to post since we were gone a week that I am breaking it down into post parts! :)

This past Saturday we loaded up and headed to PCB for our Summer beach trip!

We made it to the beach just in time for lunch, then we headed to the condo and the room was ready so we hit the pool!

The rest is history! :)....

Before I go into our awesome week at the beach, let me first stop for a minute and wish these two fellas a happy Father's Day since today is Father's Day! :)

Pawpaw and his girls! We met Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi for lunch today to celebrate Father's Day since we havent seen them all week since we have been gone. The girls LOVE Solid Rock because they get to choose sherbet and ice cream for dessert! :)

Saturday when we got to the condo....we changed and hit the pool and beach for the rest of the afternoon until bed time! We had so much fun just relaxing and eating a pizza by the pool!
There is NO doubt this chick is the biggest water bug there is! She swam and swam and swam and flipped and dove and flipped and swam all.week.long.every.single.day.had.to.drag.her.out.

She wanted me to take a picture of her doing a front flip! Im actually glad I took these 'in action' pictures because I love them!

Look at her flip! This picture cracks me up! She looked at the picture and said 'Mommy, I cant believe I did that!' :)

First night on the beach and it was soooooo pretty! I mean, the view....the sunset.....the breeze was perfection!

Welcome to day 2! We were out the door that morning ready to go and play at the beach and pool again!

They filled up buckets, dug in the sand, swam in the ocean and more!

We sat up shop for sure! The crew minus Ben. He was in the room then!

We got a late start to dinner on this night because nobody wanted to come in a get cleaned up. We headed to J Michaels for some seafood! YUM!

Finishing up our yummy meal! We learned our lesson on this night that we really do have to get to the dinner places early so we dont have to wait so long to eat! :)

After dinner we went and did some shopping before heading back for bed. The girls did their best impression of a Pirate! See Lily's Pirate finger! :)

We were eaten by a whale! AHHHH!! :)

Day 3! Monday we did our same routine of beach and pool! Alexis {who of course is too grown} decided to 'lay out and get some sun' :) Lily decided to dig holes instead! ha!

This picture CRACKS me up! Lily and this mermaid bathing suit! Santa brought this for Lily this past Christmas and she has been dying to wear it at the beach. Well, it was finally time! She was SOOOOO funny in this thing! She couldnt walk in it....but she didnt care. She refused to raise it up to walk....or do anything. She insisted on keeping it down the whole time so we would just waddle around!

The girls and Daddy did some surfing and floating!

The ocean was the perfect temp!...and the sky was the perfect blue!

To cap off Day 3, we got all cleaned up and headed to Texas Roadhouse for a nice juicy steak and hit some outlet stores before heading back to the condo and doing a small photo shoot before calling it a semi early night.

We grabbed some Dippin Dots to make the night complete. Us 'adults' enjoyed playing cards once the girls were in bed! Fun memories! :)

VBS fun!

We have had a great week at VBS!

The theme was MEGA Sports Camp and the kids LOVED learning about their favorite sports and doing fun activities!

Alexis and Lily had SO much fun!
They practiced and practiced this week and learned so many cheerleading things! They all had a blast!

They played games, learned about God, ate snacks, learned fun songs and dances, got to know each other and just had so much fun!

This little girl has cracked me up ALL week! She is a mess and little miss sassy! I didnt think I would meet a girl 'sassier' than Alexis AND Lily.....but I think they have met their match with this one! Riley is adorable and hilarious! I have never laughed so hard trying to teach her how to do a herkie cheer jump!!!

Last night of VBS for the MEGA Sports girls! The Church grilled out for everyone on this night and as we were walking up it smelled soooooo good!!

We had some FUN visitors!! COCKY!!!! MEGA!!! AND...the JSU Cheerleaders!!! You should have seen the looks on the girls faces when they all walked in! I have been very thankful for the women mixed in the picture that have helped me this week with the girls! Heather, Brittany and Brandi! They have been great and a huge help! Im so thankful we have really really gotten to know each other better too because of VBS. :)

This has been such a sweet and fun little group! I have really enjoyed working with them and cant wait to see them be C-team cheerleaders this coming up season!

Of course we had to have a picture with Cocky!!

Daddy came to the end of the VBS program and to eat with us! Now.....on to PACKING and heading to the BEACH tomorrow!! Whoo hoo!! I havent done any clothes washing yet OR packing so I will be up late again tonight..................but it will be ALL worth it!! :) :)

I had all intentions on posting this yesterday when we got home from the fun swim party to replace 'Wordless Wednesday' but it just didnt happen! This week has worn me out! I think this is the first time ever in the history of  this blog that I didnt post a 'Wordless Wednesday!' I chose to go to bed early for the first time this week and it was SO nice! :) VBS and this week...whew! :)

But....yesterday afternoon marked Lily's end of the season swim party at the Community Center.

She has been so excited about this party and has talked and talked and asked a CAzillion times when the day would be here!

This little girl right here loved everything about playing t-ball this season!

There were such cute decorations on all the tables and a TON of food!

The kids had SO much fun playing and swimming!

The mushroom was the favorite!

This picture is priceless!.....she just finished a cupcake........has watermelon all over her face and eating a popsicle! I would say she was one happy girl! :)

More parties and VBS!

We had yet another birthday party this weekend!

We have been super busy with a ton of fun things this weekend and to top it off, VBS started also!

It was a little hard for us to get up this morning and head to Summer Camp, school and work since we had so much fun!

This little girl was super funny Sunday morning before getting ready to conquer the day. She be-bopped around the house in this attire with about 20 hair clips in her hair dancing and acting silly! She is a mess!

They LOVE each other! This picture has just melted my heart when I snapped it of her and Aubie! They love to rub heads like this with each other! ha!

See....it is funny...but super sweet too! :)

Then....the storms cleared....no rain like we had hoped so Sara Kate's party was ON! Swim party and they all had a blast! And...I could just stare at their views FOREVER off of their deck! SOOOO beautiful!

Alexis just happened to look down at SK's puppy when I took the picture....but some of the girls with the birthday girl!

Then...we rushed home from the party...threw everyone in the tub for a bath and then booked it to VBS! It is a 'Mega' Sports Bible theme and all the kids got to choose what sport they wanted to do!

And, this is my little crew! Most all the kids chose soccer as their sport...and then next was karate, but these are mine for the week! It is my first time meeting some of them and they are so sweet and excited about learning 'cheer stuff' per them! :)
Miss Brittany had to sit with Riley because she was afraid of 'Mega!' ha!

They chose their own name! Their name is 'Team Mega Cheer!' sooo....that is what we are called! :) They all fell in love with the pom poms!

Alexis was SUPER excited that she gets to be a base during VBS! She just couldnt believe that she was one of the bigger ones and gets to base because she is always a flyer! She did a great job holding Bella!
And now....tonight marks night 2! Hopefully I can make it through the week and not be exhausted! :)

Cowgirl up!

We have had a fun outside day on this beautiful day!

It was supposed to rain and thunderstorm but so far so good and so we made the most out of it not storming!

First up today....we hung out at home and the girls rode their bikes for awhile!

Alexis is a pro now with her new bike and she thinks she is SO cool that she can change speeds!!

This afternoon, we had 'big' Lily's 8th birthday party and it was such fun!

So much fun that we are probably going to have my Lily's birthday party there since Anita {the owner} has a pony! Yes, that pony was adorable!!

We enjoyed riding the pony, cake, presents, cooking out and watching people fish! Alexis tried to catch a fish with her hands out of the pond that was there!

And now....we are all home and clean and relaxed just as the thunder is starting to roll and that shower is sounding like it is finally on its way!

Then...on to 'big' Lily's birthday! This cowgirl just HAD to wear her boots! She has worn those boots out!!

Summertime, short week, heels and books!

We have had a full week even with it actually being a short 'work week' with all the fun Summer activities starting!

So far this week, swim days, movie days with Nan, Summer Camp, music days, library reading days have started!

ALL the FUN things that my girls have been dying to start for weeks now!

I hate that I have to work during the Summers and are not off but so glad that they love all the fun things they get to do while I have to.

I LOVE the fact that we are hitting the pools, catching fireflies and have fun Summer vacations coming up too!!

OH.....sweet Summertime! :) :)

This is the only picture I have gotten a chance to snap and it just so happened to be this morning with this little one that is nooooo longer little. She is growing up SO fast! She was SUPER excited to wear her 'high heels' now that they fit her! She has LOVED them! She also has LOVED that this week they started going to the Jacksonville Library and checking out books. It has been fun the two times she has been this week to have her bring them home and hear Alexis reading to her and hearing them laugh at the funny parts, etc. Daddy and I have taken our turns on reading them also to her!
Alexis received her birthday surprise this afternoon from Nan and Pawpaw and she was SO excited. She was a little timid at first to ride her new bike because she has just been so comfortable with her old one but her and Daddy rode it around the neighborhood this afternoon and now she is just in Heaven with it and thinks it is super cool now that she has realized she can ride it! :) Pictures coming soon of her and it! :)
{What really cracks me up about this chick.....after I took the picture, she asked me to see it. As she was looking at the picture off my camera she goes 'Mommy, I make up the poses I do all by myself!' She cracks.me.up.} :)

And Flashback Friday.....to this gem of a picture! Circa~Spring 2012 when I got Alexis the same 'high heels' that Lily is now wearing! You would have thought I hung the moon with her when I gave them to Alexis! It was priceless how she was with her first 'high heels!' It is so sweet to see Lily just as happy in the same cute little 'high heels!'
