Beach time!

Whew we....we had sooo much fun at the beach! There is just nothing like sitting out and watching the waves out in the ocean! The feel of being at the beach is just hard to beat!

We loaded up and headed down to Gran's Condo at Panama City Beach Tuesday! We left after work........so it was REALLY late when we got down there! La La, Aunt Pam and Gran were waiting up for us when we got there!!

We spent the rest of the week playing in the sand, playing bocce, playing in the ocean, finding sea~shells, swimming in the pool, getting a sun~tan, para sailing, "surfing" on our boards against the waves in the ocean, catching crabs, shopping, riding fun rides, and eating "beach" food at "beach restaurants"!  SO fun!

This little Missy is a beach girl! no doubt about it!! :)

After having to warm up to the sand....Lily had fun playing in it! For awhile she didnt want ANY on her! We had to wipe any she saw off! :)

 Lily LOVED the ocean though!! She played and played in it.....which was good because she is sick so the salt water helped get all of the nasty "gunk" out of her!

Gran and I went Para~sailing............Alexis was worried about me and so she wanted to give me a hug before I left! :)

Cant believe they are 21!

Where has the time gone!?? I can NOT believe Meagan and Mal are 21 today! They have both grown up to be the most beautiful....well rounded girls! I only hope and pray that my girls are just like them when they grow up! Meg and Mal have been such great role models for my girls to look up to! I am so thankful for them being in our lives! Happy happy birthday girls...the Laws love yall! :)

Happy Father's Day to all the special men in our lives!

Happy Father's day to the best Daddy in the world! Tyler is such a great Daddy to the girls! They LOVE for him to throw them up in the air..."rough" house with him, and play games with too! He does such a great job taking care of the girls in the mornings since I have to head to work so early. I dont have to ever worry about them because I know that he takes great care of them! And....anytime there is something broken and needs to be fixed...Daddy is the one to call! Alexis always goes straight to Daddy because she says he can fix everything! :)

We are SOOOO thankful for Pawpaw too! Happy Father's Day to Pawpaw! We love you!

Auburn Vacation!

We headed down to Auburn with Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi for our long awaited Summer trip with them! We had SO much fun in Auburn!

When Nan told us we were going to Auburn for vacation....it was kind of weird just because we are always so use to going down during say the Fall for football games....but it was SO nice to go down when we did! It was not crowded, we got to enjoy the BEST pool at Grand National Golf course! {Boy, has it changed since I worked there when I was in college!...it has built up so much with homes and the huge hotel and pool!} It was SO nice!

The pool was perfect for the girls because it had a very shallow end...on top of a fun slide that Alexis went down about 10,000 times AND a splash pad! We enjoyed all of my favorite places and shopping spots in Auburn while we were there AND we even had the pleasure of seeing Aubie! It was a great trip....and we will be going back! :)

Alexis had so much fun playing in the water and meeting new friends! She met a little girl that was her age named Aleah. It was all because of Aleah that Alexis finally went down the slide! After Alexis finally did the slide with her.....you couldnt get Alexis away from it! 

She also had to find some time to get a sun tan with me! :)

Where is Alexis? You would think that she wasnt even on this chair! {And by the way..yes the chairs were in the water! SO nice!} She fell asleep for about an hour just like this!

One night we went to where the trees used to be at Toomer's Corner. They had an Art night. It was such a beautiful afternoon! We enjoyed walking around and seeing all of the arts and crafts...and listening to the live music!

Auburn girls!!

The biggest highlight!...we got to see Aubie!!

Lily LOVED that she got her little face painted! :) She sat SO still while the girl did it!

Alexis LOVED her butterfly! She woke me up twice in the middle of the night that night asking me if it was still on her face! :)

21 Months....and she is not a baby!

My little girl is still little...........but in her world she is as big as her big sister! Lily is 21 months going on 25 years old!

She is into everything!!.........and just understands so much this month! She is putting two and three words together now! She can say for example..."I want some." or "Where is Sissy?"

She says pretty much everything now and can follow directions {when she wants to!} :)

She is OBSESSED with the movie Bolt! Every.single.day. she comes in from school and says "Where's Bolt?" "I want Bolt!" She will stare at the entire movie! Tyler bought the movie the other day so we can let her watch it in the playroom since she took over the living room watching it because we originally only had it recorded! ha!

She loves her new school....and is doing so well in the 2 year old room! Tyler said the other day that when he dropped her off, that her teacher told her to go find the "cat chair" because they have assigned seats. He said that she went to each little chair and would pull it out and look to see what animal was on it. If it didnt have the cat on it...she would push it back under the table and then look at the next chair! When she found the "cat chair".......Tyler said she looked at him and smiled so big as she knew she had the right one! :)

This is prime example of Lily thinking she is SO big! She had on Alexis' goggles....and was putting on sunscreen all by herself :)

Still working on the paci...but it is a loosing battle! :) She loves this book! {It talks...and she repeats what it says! :) }
