Sweet Maggie!

Sweet baby Maggie was born Sunday, November 14, 2021 and we are just so excited for Mal and Bill!

She is absolutely precious! She weighed 5 pounds 9 ounces with a head full of brown hair which is wonderful considering she was set to be born at the end of December. She will be having her first surgery tomorrow (Friday the 19th) so big prayers for baby and family as the doctors work their wonders.

We love you Maggie and cant wait to meet you someday soon!

These girls ROCKED it at the UCA road to Nationals competition Saturday!

They are sooooo excited to have the opportunity to go to Disney World in February!

Lex and I took off yesterday afternoon to head back to Birmingham to do the competition and they came home with 3rd place and a pretty full bid payment to Nationals out of 11 teams!

Whoo hoo!

She was 3...and now she is 13!

 I promise you...

this was JUST yesterday!

I remember this day literally like it was yesterday! She was 3. Head strong, stubborn, independent, full of life sass all wrapped into a chunky chubby cheeked little blonde!

This day...she refused to take a nap. She was grouchy! She needed one. She was NOT having one! Her exact words on this day were....'Mommy, I not 'seepy!' I NOT 'seepy' I a big girl and I not need to go to take a nap Mommy!'

Finally....I just made her go sit on the big chair and rest for a minute so I could feed Lily. She agreed to that because it was only going to be a minute while I fed Lily.

As SOON as she sat on that chair....with her legs crossed and her arms too.....since she was NOT tired {remember} she passed out one second after climbing up! ha!

Now........fast forward.........

10 years!!!

HOW!

How has time moved 10 years and she is now 13!?!?!

Allll that full of life sass is still there...just in bigger, not so chubby cheeked blonde! :)

My girl is growing up and I am thankful to get to call her my daughter...no matter her age, she will always be that chubby cheeked little blonde full of sass girl to me!

Alexis' volleyball banquet!

Alexis had such a great year playing volleyball!

She learned the sport and got better each time she played! She made sweet memories with her friends as well...which was most important, of course! :)

We loved watching her try something new and so proud of her for doing so!

Lex loves her friends!

Coach Lyons and Coach Stone talking about the season!
Here they are!

Veteran's Day program!

Lily had her Veteran's Day program at school today and was SO excited to have a big speaking part!

Bummed that no one could attend the program but I know Lily did SO good on her speaking part because she practiced and practiced and it sounded so good when she did it for us! :)

She picked her outfit out but then said...OH yeah....we are wearing red and white at school! ha!

Look at all those 4th graders! Lily is in there somewhere! :)

She rocked her speaking part!

STATE bound!-Regionals cheer comp!

Alexis and her cheer comp team had their Regionals Cheer Competition yesterday in Birmingham!

They were SO excited and nervous about it but let me tell you....they ROCKED it!

They did SO good and it was so fun watching Alexis shine!

The girls spent the day eating a fun lunch and doing some shopping in Bham before heading over to get ready for the competition. Alexis had so much fun and fun memories with her friends!

Cant wait to watch them move on over to STATE since they won a bid in December!

I think they were most excited to get to ride together all the way to Bham and then eat and shop! :)

The 8th graders!...minus KeAashia! They competed against Juniors and Seniors and ROCKED it!
Love these girls!
They did awesome!

She is just growing up so fast!

Alexis' first basketball game!

Monday marked Alexis' first basketball game for the season! BOY, there are SO many games!

Their first game was in White Plains so since it was an away game they didnt cheer but 2 of the 3 games. The girls lost and the 9th grade team won! It was all entertaining to say the least! ha! OH, those girls...get rowdy! ha!

Ready for game 1!

Doing her thing! She likes cheering the basketball games! Glad she does...because there are alot of them! ha!
Love her!
Cheering out the boys!

A Cocky kind of weekend!

We had a beautiful weekend filled with all things football and cheer!

Alexis had round one of the play-offs so she had to sell programs. She stayed with friends and watched the game and the Eagles came home with a WIN! They are headed to round two Friday!

Saturday was a Cocky kind of day!

We enjoyed the suite life with friends and had a great time watching JSU until coming home for the Auburn game. Sad to say...we should have stayed at the JSU game for that win because Auburn didnt bring one!

Pearson and Sydney ended up spending the night with the girls and going to Church but I didnt get a single picture of them with the girls in their cute Church attire!

Lily spent the rest of Sunday afternoon enjoying the beautiful weather with new neighbor friends while Alexis had cheer practice and geared up for her competition!

This was my view Sunday afternoon while Alexis had cheer practice. Lily loves how new neighbors are fun to play with!

This will be FOREVER my FAVORITE view. Looking out this window and seeing the girls with their friends on the trampoline! I have said it before but OH the fun they have out there every single time!

It was a perfect Fall weekend!

Our view was pretty nice on Saturday!!

They always have so much fun together!
They love Cocky!

Family picture! Its a Cocky kind of day!

Always fun with the band comes through!

My girl....who is right there with me! :)

The biggest bonfire you have ever seen!

Alexis had her school's bonfire the other night and Tyler sat out and watched it while she cheered. Lily and I didnt brave the cold! ha! We stayed at home and enjoyed our blankets and relaxing! :)

Tyler sent me a text saying that the bonfire was the biggest he has ever seen and that it was so big that it had to be put out early because it was encroaching on to the school building! Alexis has never been to a bonfire so she had no idea what to expect and was shocked at how big it was! Tyler said it was too big and after looking at pictures...I agree!

It was a great kick-off for the boys to head to play-offs tomorrow! GO EAGLES!

Ready for her first bonfire!

This picture wasnt even when it was at its biggest size!

There was a pretty big turnout!
Alexis doing what she loves!

Seeing the Cali crew one more time!

We had dinner with the Murphy crew minus Mal and Bill yesterday at Superior Grill to see them one last time before they head back to California.

Always a great time when we get to see them!

OH I could just squeeze this baby all.day.long. It is the snuggest little squishy thing!

Nannie loved getting to spend more time with Hank!
Alexis' most favorite person on this planet. She just adores Margie!

The cutest! Reese kept giving Lily hugs and Lily was eating it up to hold her and help her!

Reese also thought Alexis was pretty cool! She kept looking at her! ha!

We sang happy birthday to Nannie and surprised her. She cracked me up when the waiter put this on her head! ha!

Such a fun night! We ate and chatted for a little bit and then headed home right in time for bath and bed!

The last day of October!

My goodness October has flown by! It is one of my favorite months and I am sad to see it go!

Since Halloween was celebrated yesterday due to today being Sunday...we had a pretty low key day!

Today was the most beautiful Fall day and we soaked up every minute of it!

I cleaned up some of my Halloween decor....{I know...technically today is the 31st...but once a holiday is 'done'....Im done and ready to pack and clean it up and since we technically celebrated it last night....today was the day to get it up! ha!} :)

And....then on to Christmas! :) :) ha!

Since it was so nice outside...we loaded up {minus Alexis...she wanted to stay home and take a nap since all the girls spent the night together} and played some holes of golf! :) I got my very first birdie! WHOO HOO! :) We stopped by Nan and Pawpaws for a little bit before heading home to get cleaned up to go to the Lewis' Halloween party/dinner! The kids played and played and made smores....decorated cookies...and us adults enjoyed allll the food and football and then the Braves! We are currently home and just got to enjoy the GRAND SLAM during the Braves vs Astros World Series game! CHOP ON!

Its been a good day!

Here we go!

She loved driving the cart! We had some questionable moments...ha!... :)

OH...the blue skies!...and this hunk! He played an amazing game! I just love seeing him hit and how far the ball goes! ha!

The four amigos!

The 'Fraternity brothers' {I  know!.............they came up with this idea themselves!} :)

All the girls and Lily, the beauty queen! :)
Then Lily realized she couldnt play well as a beauty queen so she changed! :) This is the only boy that would actually sit still long enough to take a picture! Ridge was eating it up that they all were paying him attention!
She LOVES to decorate cookies and she is so good at it too! Such a fun night with friends and a great way to end one of my favorite holidays and months!

Halloween is in the books!

 This year....

both girls ditched us.

It wasnt like past Halloweens...and I have to say..I am okay with that!

I manned our candy station. One girl went with her friends and they met up with more friends and walk around {like they were cool} :) And then the other girl went off with her friends and had parents....but tried to ditch them but enjoyed getting all the candy and having so much fun! Tyler stayed with me for a little bit and then was off watching the Auburn game and then the Brave game too! We capped off the night by having allll the Halloween goodness at the Sorianos before crashing to bed! It was a perfection of a night because the rain stopped...Auburn won...and so did the Braves!

All the things!

Friday at work we had our Nursing 'Fall In!' It is always a great time with the students and then theres the costumes....food...games....candy...all the things too!

Love these ladies

 Graham cracker for the win!

Of course Soccer was a hotdog!
The Graham cracker, Marshmallow, chocolate and the fire! :)

On a different planet! ha! :)

Out of this world....alien! :)

The aliens!
The Mom crew! :)
The Mom crew times quadruple!
Alll the kids...and this isnt even all of them! It was the first year that I didnt cook a lot and it was kind of nice to just enjoy the craziness...ha! :)
