Ambereveryday2015!

The month of January is just flying by! We have been super busy this month too! Lily is loving her new class! She seems to have just blossomed more to us since she has moved! She is officially a 'big girl' in her book! We have fought sickness a good bit this month! Alexis never gets sick and she has battled the flu and a small case of pneumonia! When she gets sick, she goes big!
Alexis and Lily are both still loving ballet class on Thursdays! Lily is really coming along in her class...even though she has a long ways to go! :)
She has started piano lessons this month and LOVES it! Ms. Bekha is her teacher and she told me that Alexis has true talent! That she has an ear for it and just can not get over how well she did only after one practice! Alexis literally has come home everyday and has practiced! She is going to be an amazing piano player/singer when she grows up! {She just needs to remember that and not be so hard on herself if she messes up!} She is at the age where she thinks everything should just happen and has to learn that after time and practice, that you get better and better! :)

Day 21
I love going on Wednesdays to help at Alexis' school! I love when I get a sneak peek of Alexis in her element in her class! On this day Ms. Harper had the door open and I just stood there with tears in my eyes watching her! She had no idea I was watching her and it was so sweet to just watch her be Alexis! :)

Day 22
She pulled out this white eagle and said that she was super excited that she is now in the 'white eagle' club! I asked her what that is and she told me it is a club that she is now in because she reads so many books because she is such a good reader! {This made my heart almost explode!} :)
Day 23
Yum yum YUM!! It is Friday and we had YUM YUM sauce! This sauce is to die over! My family eats this sauce like there is no tomorrow! All I can say is YUM! :)
Day 24
So proud to see Alexis up in the air! My brave little cookie! :) :)
Day 25
Had fun hanging out with the family and celebrating LaLa turning the BIG 5-0!
Day 26
The 100th day of school!! Alexis had to dress like an 'old lady!' This was her impression of how an old lady looks! :) OH it cracked me up! I told her that she was going to have to walk around all day with that face and hunched over!

Day 27
First piano lesson with Ms. Bekah! Ms. Bekah is so sweet and helped Alexis SO much! Alexis had a smile from ear to ear the entire time! She came home and was already a PRO at 'Mary had a little Lamb!' Tyler and I are just blown away by her! Tyler and I both have been trying to master 'Mary had a little Lamb' like her and we cant even do it! SO proud of her!!
Day 28
Once again SO proud! Look at these scores! Not only is she beautiful, funny, sassy, stubborn, talented, sweet, and loving......................  she is SUPER smart too! :)
Day 29
This little chick-a-dee made me laugh! I look over from the kitchen and she is flat ironing Aubie! She said that he needed a new hairstyle!! OH ME! This cat lets them do anything and everything to him!!!
Day 30
It is Friday again!! Whoo hoo! And, I look over during breakfast and this is usually the view I have! :) The girls are eating and Aubie is right under them to try and catch whatever might happen to fall! :) {Notice he is under Lily because he knows that she is the one that usually does the dropping of things!!}
Day 31
It is a relaxing Saturday today! Today we have no plans!! {which is very very rare!} Right now both girls are playing on their keyboards as I type! {Alexis is singing too!} We are still in our pjs and I am sitting curled up with my nice and comfy blanket as I do this blog! Tyler {the boy that doesnt sit much} is mopping! I have a load of clothes in the wash and drying so laundry is coming up! Though our day hasnt ended, {but hasnt even fully started yet because it is still early} I already have a huge highlight! I love that the girls love to help cook! They helped Daddy this morning cook his famous pancakes! Happy Saturday to us! :)

Kendra, Margie and LaLa!

Today was a beautiful day to celebrate LaLa turning 50! YEP, she is 50! :) {You cant tell it at all either!} :) :)

We headed to Leeds today to do some shopping before we met everyone to celebrate LaLa at Cracker Barrel!

On the way, the girls opened a sweet sweet sweet little gift from Margie asking them to be her flower girls! They are BEYOND thrilled to be in her wedding! Alexis said "Mommy, this means that Margie is going to be our cousin now!!" And I agreed! Then Lily piped in and said "She is going to be my cousin too!" :)

Margie sent both the girls a beautiful Kendra Scott bracelet!! FOR SURE something they will always treasure...and better take care of because it is expensive!

We are so excited for Margie and Blake.....and had alot fun today celebrating a 'milestone' with LaLa! :)

Look how fun! Nothing better than getting cool stuff in the mail from a cool chick!
Lily just could not wait to open her gift!
And..Alexis couldnt wait either! {It was torture to make them take a picture!} :)
And...look how cute! So pretty!
The girls always love to go to Bass Pro! Alexis said that 'That place is amazing with all the animals and fish!' :)
Look how cute these two are! :)
They love looking at all the fish! My goodness there were some huge fish in there!!
Happy birthday to LaLa!! 50 looks fabulous on you!

A 'rah rah ree' kind of day!

Rah rah ree.....kick em' in the knee!

Alexis had her very first cheer camp with the JSU cheerleaders today!

And...she loved it!

I loved sitting there during the camp and watching Alexis get so excited talking to the 'big cheerleaders!'

She did such a great job today!

She worked hard learning the 2 chants and a dance!

Not to mention...it MADE her day that the dance was to Taylor Swift!! {Her MOST favorite singer!!} :)

Dancing to 'Shake it off' made her day!....as well as getting to go up in the pyramid she said!

She said she was a little nervous and scared about being so high up in the pyramid!...but she said she loved it though! :)

My little missy cheerleader! She had to make sure I put her hair up as 'high as you can Mommy!'.....AND.....she raided my lipstick drawer without me knowing and came in to me before we left with bright red lipstick on! She said she had to look like the 'big cheerleaders!'
Carli and Sara Kate came for the camp! Despite them all being together during this....they all listened and learned very well! I was proud of them! :)
There were alot of girls there today! It was a great turn out!
Alexis worked SO hard to learn it all!
AND!!...she was chosen to go up in the pyramid during one of their chants that they did! She did soooo good as she went up!
She couldnt wipe the smile off if she tried! And, Im soooo sad!!...I took a really really REALLY cute picture of Alexis and Miss Leslie and somehow my computer just made the picture disappear when I was trying to crop it! Tyler couldnt find it! I am so sad because Alexis loves Miss Leslie! {she is the cheerleader that is holding her in the pyramid with blonde hair!} She is one of my students and a JSU cheerleader! She is just a beautiful and well rounded girl who is such a great role model and Alexis and her just hit it off! :) :)
I was the brave one who took these three to lunch after the camp! They LOVED spending more time together and coming over to our house for a little while before we had to leave to get ready for the game!
Alexis did SO well during the half-time performance! All the little cheer campers got to sit behind the JSU cheerleaders during the game and then at half-time they did their chants and dance! I have the cutest video ever of Alexis during the chant that she did the pyramid! In the video it shows her looking over at us with the biggest grin on her face to make sure we were watching her up in the air!! :) :)
Lily just HAD to dress like a cheerleader for the game! She talked non-stop about wearing her red and white stripped dress...and carrying her pom-poms! {They are Alexis' old cheer poms, but Lily claimed them for the day!} :) My heart melted when I looked up from my seat at the game to see Lily just a 'beebopping' behind Tyler with her little dress on and carrying 'her' pom-poms! It was the cutest thing ever!!

Ambereveryday2015

Whew, this new year is flying by! I feel like I havent been able to slow down as much lately to post alot! I guess that is a good thing...but I also need to slow down some! :)

Day 13
Super highlight!!...Daddy finished Lily's piece for her room! It looks amazing and it fits perfect in her room!!!

Day 14
Back in the groove again! Wednesday folders at Alexis' school! I really enjoy going and helping out.....and getting to see a little cutie too! :)

Day 15
Lily's new scooter came in! She LOVED riding around in the garage before dinner!!

Day 16
Ahh...Friday!! After a long week...nothing nicer than curling up and watching a movie! Alexis and Lily both love to switch up watching movies in their rooms! :)

Day 17
Saturday fun day!! Alexis was super super SUPER excited to spend the day with Sara Kate and Carli! Chuck~e~cheese was a hit!
Lily super super SUPER enjoyed jumping on the trampoline while 'sissy' was gone since it was such a beautiful day!!

Day 18
Yum!! Perfection!!!! Crockpot is a super BIG highlight for me! :)

Day 19
Out for MLK day! Whoo hooo!! So, family bike ride time!! Poor Lily...we {we meaning Lily and I} only made it a little ways down the street because her little legs couldnt keep pedaling up the small hills we have. Daddy and Alexis had a longer ride!

Day 20
I LOVE getting sweet little notes from Alexis! I just love them!!

These two!.....

These two!! Oh me, these two are the most beautiful, silly, sassy, hilarious, smart girls I have ever known and there is no one else on the planet like these two! :) :)

I havent done an update lately on them so I thought I would take some time to put down some notes about them!

This picture of them pretty much sums them up to a ~T~!! Little Miss sassy thing {Alexis} and Little Miss silly thing! {Lily}

Alexis: Alexis is for sure...no doubt...in the 'Im cool, and sassy age!' She has to make sure that her hair is in place and that her clothes match and are perfect to wear! She constantly has her fingers in her mouth trying to wiggle her teeth out. I have never known a child that wants her teeth out more than her! She just doesnt understand why 'all her other friends have lost their teeth and had the tooth fairy come' but her. Despite me telling her that her not loosing them yet is a good thing, sweet thing is just still SO ready!! She is into all things Taylor Swift and Katy Perry right now! She can sing every word to their songs and is constantly singing on her Karaoke machine. She still LOVES to color, draw and write! She is constantly drawing pictures and makes sweet little notes to give us. She reads all the time and it is SO sweet to hear her reading to Lily! She loves to play school, and just loves to 'cook' in her kitchen. She is still in the all 'A' club at school and is just doing SO well!

She is my sweet and 'give in' child. Let me explain. She has a stubborn streak! {for sure} but I can get her to 'cave in' easily when she is trying to 'hold her ground!' She can easily be persuaded! She will be the first one to say she loves you and when her and Lily are in an argument, she is the first one to give in and say sorry. She is not shy AT ALL in front of a crowd. She likes...I mean LOVES... to be in the spotlight! She is constantly dancing and singing. She is my child that still to this day sings herself to sleep every night.
She is such a little helper too. She is always asking me to help cook. She will come and actually ask me to help do things like fold clothes! She is such a nurturer and so thoughtful! She talks about how she loves the Rockettes Dancers! I can totally see her being one and us visiting her and seeing her on TV when she is older! :)

Lily: Where do I begin with this one?!?! This child! OH ME! I never know what she is going to say...in ANY situation...or what she is going to do! She is constantly up to something...or in to something! :)
She will put on a SHOW for us....but once she is out in a crowd, she tends to shy up! It is funny to me how she is because to anyone and everyone that truly knows her, knows that she is NOT shy!
She will crack you up with what she says! I am amazed daily that she is just three with the things she says!
She is for sure my most stubborn one!! She will hold her ground like there is no tomorrow! She will NOT give in! And oohhh...stay away from her when she is grumpy! :) Oh boy! She is hard to convince...even at THREE! Yes, you can not pull the 'wool over her eyes!' She knows what we are up to!! Alexis, she is gullible and will fall for it...but not Lily! :) Lily is for sure in the 'clumsy department!'...that girl is constantly falling..or bumping her head or something all the time! She cracks me up because her famous last words are 'Im okay!'...something will happen and she will pop up as she is saying 'Im okay!' :)

When anyone is sad, Lily is right there to make you smile! :) She will cock her sweet little head with the most funny facial expressions...and there is just absolutely NO way to be mad or sad anymore! :)
She thinks she is as big as her big sister and she thinks she can do every.single.thing. that Alexis can do. {And she will try!} She is very independent and works very hard to conquer whatever is in front of her to do.She loves to play dress up and is constantly coming to me with who knows what on that she decided she thought she could put on! She loves to write and loves all things Disney! I can totally see her being a doctor or nurse because she loves to play doctor!....or because of her stubbornness and determination, I can totally see her as a lawyer too! :)

Lily is alot more 'daredevil' than Alexis. {though Alexis is  a daredevil too, Lily is just a little more} For example, the other day the girls were riding their scooters. Our driveway slopes down and so if you go down it....you end  up going faster. Well, Lily was having the time of her life going down it! Alexis was more on the 'safe side' she said! :) Though I for see Alexis being my 'free bird' and off exploring the world. She will come home for Christmas...and maybe my birthday! :) Lily on the other hand, is the one who likes to be with Daddy and I. {at least right now she does} She is always attached to me! She will be my one that likes to hang around us 'cool parents' when she is older ;)

The other day we were sitting in the waiting area before ballet class and Lily was sitting in my lap. Out of nowhere she just starts busting out laughing! Laughing loud and hard! I look down at her with the strangest face because she was not doing anything but sitting in my lap. I ask her 'Lily, what is so funny?' She goes: 'Me, Mommy! I'm funny!' Everyone waiting around us just started busting out laughing! :)

These two are just so different in all areas.....but that is what makes them most unique and beautiful! They both are just such a blessing and special in each their own way and I just love seeing them grow! I am so thankful to be their Mommy!!!

Day 11
OH YUM! Daddy and his famous pancakes! OH YUM!!
Day 12
Monday Monday, oh it is back! What makes a Monday good?? Well.. getting a new reindeer {that jingles, and sings and makes lots and lots and lots of noise} from Mr. Dennis! Yes, she loves it and I love seeing her face light up when it sings and she 'rides' it.................but Mr. Dennis is in BIG trouble! {Tammy texted me to see if I had thrown it out the window yet!} {I told her that Dennis could have just left it in the attic where it was, but he insisted on getting it down for Lily to have!} I know now why the Johnsons didnt want the reindeer anymore and were excited to give it to Lily!! :)
