Technically his birthday is tomorrow but we celebrated him BIG today and OH my heart!

Alexis applied at school and got accepted into JSU's Dual Enrollment program!
When I received the email this morning..........I wanted to cry!
Time is just flying!
She can start taking Dual Enrollment classes next year and we have a meeting to make her schedule for it next week!
CRAZY!
Dual Enrollment is a great program and I benefited from it when I was in school so I am excited that she has this opportunity!
I love baseball.
I love it more than basketball.
I like basketball but like I have said...it is just SO long. SO many games!
BUT, Alexis is a Diamond Doll and I remember my days as one and how I enjoyed it so last night was the first home game of the season!
After Alexis got finished with cheer try-out clinic...
we headed to the field!
The Varsity did a great job but lost by 1.
Next up...JV which is what she is a Diamond Doll since it is everyone in her grade....
and well...
it was horrible!
The poor boys got their booties beat...by Southside...
No one was cheering...
it was like everyone whispered as they talked...it was soooo odd!
I told Alexis that if the games are like this.......this will be my last one to go to.
I was sad for the boys!
The Varsity game had a big crowd and everyone cheered. I dont know what happened to the JV game. Everyone (for the most part) left...
and it was just dead. Sad!
The Diamond Dolls that were there felt they couldnt even cheer the boys on because not even the parents were engaged with the game.
So....
there is some work that needs to be done..........in my opinion!
But it was a beautiful evening and night so it was nice to be out and Nick Johnson was excited to get his goodie bag from Alexis since she is his Diamond Doll. Alexis made Sam Parker one too so he was happy to get one from her too so it was worth it to go.

Regional CHAMPS!
They played a great game against Etowah and WON!
The JSU Coliseum was PACKED and it was great to see the big turn-out!
It helped they released school early and BOY was Lily excited to get out of school and get to go!
Next up STATE next week!

We have had some chilly and then some rainy {like today} days...
Since yesterday was a perfect temp of a day, these two had a sell!
All money went to charity. Lily said Callie didnt know what charity...but its going to it! :) Sooo.... :)

Alexis loved her Lex but due to them starting 'big' school and being at different schools...they somewhat faded...
they follow each other on insta and keep up but when they saw each other last night...it was like they were back when they were little!

She was tired from the basketball game earlier.....sad because Carli couldnt do her hair because she had a softball tournament...
but...
I knew she would regret it if she didnt and after she finally got ready....
she was excited and had a great time!
She did her own hair...and makeup and look beautiful!
The huge group met on the Square this time and took pictures! I ended up loving this location! Then they all headed to the Pridgens for dinner! We had a great time there (us Mom's have more fun than the kids!) :) before going to the dance!

He is a stinker. He knows what he should and should not do..........but sometimes he doesnt care....
like eat the tips of my fake flowers...THAT are on the table..........THAT he is NOT supposed to be on. When he sees me coming...he makes this distinct noise and runs because he knows. OH, he knows! :)

Aubie sits like this with his tail wrapped around and he is just gorgeous! When I saw Soccer, I thought...yep, you want to be like your big brother because literally..........he loves Aubie. He loves to play with him....be mean to him....pick on him....lay by him...and all the things 'little brothers' like to do! :)
This weekend I have both girls working for some money!
Lex baby sat sweet Grayson on Friday night!
She called me a couple of times. One when he wouldnt stop crying. :) I could hear his sweet little tired cry in the background. She did what I told her and held him and rocked him...........and she said it worked.
He fell right asleep!
He was tired! :)
So proud of her for overcoming her timidness of doing it and she is learning a lot and love that she has this to do when she is needed!
Lily also is making money this weekend! She is taking care of the Messer's dog, Jack, while they are out of town!
She takes him out in the morning, feeds him, and puts him up in his kennel at night!
She is there right now as I type this taking him out for the morning!
I love how both girls are learning responsibility!

Besties forever! Since she comes over every morning...I claim her so she had to get a picture too! :)
As soon as she got home...............she DUMPED out allll her goodies and could not wait to tell me who all gave her a Valentine from school! She got all from her class and eight............yes...eight...personalized ones that the PTO does! She felt loved! :)
