November babies!

I dont know if I have mentioned how much I LOVE Fall, but oh I do! Our yard this year is c.o.v.e.r.e.d. with beautiful, different color leaves! It is so pretty! (Even though it is a pain to rake them all up! ;) ) Today was a perfect Fall day. Blue skies....70 degree weather, it just could not get any better to go outside and play in the leaves!
 Tyler made such cute pictures of the girls! We took some "Christmas" pictures outside also so I can get started on making our Christmas cards! After we got finished taking pictures, we headed to Jacksonville High School to see Santa. The girls were not so thrilled to see him, but at least this year there were no tears!
 Alexis told Santa she wanted a Barbie Doll and a Pony. He asked her if she wanted a real one or a "my little pony"? She clarified to him that she would like a "my little pony"! (I think Santa can handle that request a little better than a real pony!!)
After we finished with Santa, we were all ready to relax at home! We attempted to watch the Auburn vs Georgia game......but it was just too sad to watch, so we just watched a movie instead...even though Alabama loosing helped with the sadness! :) Despite the AU game, today was a perfect day!

Adjusting to the Darkness

This has been the first week of the time change. I can say....I HATE this time change! I do not like it getting darker so early! It makes me feel like I have no day since I work all day! And...the coldness...uuggghhh....oohhh....spring and summer can never get here fast enough! Lily has had a tough week adjusting. Meltdown City started before the time change around 6:30..6:45 to go to sleep. This week it has been 5:30..5:45! Her little body just hasnt adjusted to the change yet! Fingers crossed next week will be better!
This week wasnt very eventful. Alexis went to Awanas Wednesday night and said this week's Bible verse. She collected enough stickers from previous Bible verses she has quoted, to get her first patch for her vest! She was so excited, and I am so proud of her! Every night before bed and before Daddy reads her a story, we have been looking up that week's verse and talking about it. I love this time with her!
I took Lily to see the pulmonary specialist in Birmingham on Thursday. Dr. Houser diagnosed her with asthma and acid reflux. We have been given a good bit of medicine and an inhaler to do on her. I am praying this will help her congestion and wheezing!
This past Tuesday was Voting day! Obama is still our President. Not so happy about this decision, but it is great to know that America gets the chance to make the vote to determine who will be President. I hope and pray that this next 4 years he has shows much improvement for America, because we need it! Alexis was soooo funny! She really doesnt understand the whole voting for a new President thing, but she was so curious none the less! Instead of asking someone if they voted...she kept asking "Did you go bowling?" it cracked me up! I would tell her ...no...it is Voting...with a V...and she would still say bowling! And...if you didnt have your sticker on to show that you voted, she would make you get it and put it on! :)
Looking forward to the weekend! (As always!!) We are doing the dreaded picture taking experience! Tyler and I do not like taking pictures...trying to get the girls to sit still...smile...look at the camera..and so on and so on....but Tyler always does such a great job and I treasure all the good ones that turn out! We are going to take some Fall pictures in our yard and then go have "cupcakes with Santa"!!!!!  stay tuned for a post on all of that!! :)

"Disneyworld, and first boyfriend!"

If I could steal this little boy...I would in a heartbeat! :) Everybody would think he was mine if his momma tried to get him back because he has blonde hair like me......even though he looks just like her! :) I will never..never...forget the first time I held this little..little guy! He stole my heart! He was so adorable and it made me sooo excited that I was about to have my first baby and get to hold her! I could not wait for them to be friends and play with each other! While we were neighbors, Alexis and Payton LOVED to play together! There woudnt hardly be a single afternoon that we didnt have them in our back yard or us at theirs! We miss being neighbors..but that doesnt mean that we are not still going to always be friends! Alexis LOVES Payton! I cant even describe to you how she feels about this little man! Mandy and I have said forever that they are going to get married..but then the "brother/sister" attitude kicks in and so we dont really see marriage in the future! :) Alexis still calls Payton her boyfriend! (oh me!) Alexis was so sad when we moved away from him!............but she gets so excited when we visit!
Today Tyler and I took them to see Disney on Ice. They LOVED it! It has been several months since they have seen each other, but they picked up liked they havent missed a day! We so enjoyed getting to visit the Rigney family and see their new home and catching up!

The Lion King was both Payton's and Alexis' favorite they said! (It was mine and Tyler's favorite too! :) )

They both were sooo amazed that Peter Pan actually flew!!

OH Alexis is all I can say! Since the day I told her we were taking her to see Disney on Ice..she got it in her head that she was going to Disney world! I tried..and tried and T.R.I.E.D. to tell her that it wasnt Disney world, but it would have all the Disney characters though! Well, she wasnt buying that! She would tell everybody still that she was going to Disney World! I was so worried that we would get there and she would realize and get upset and cry or something because it wasnt actually Disney world! But, thank goodness, none of that happened and she had a GREAT time! So, I guess we can knock the actual Disney World off of our list for a little while since she thinks she has already been there!! :)
When Minnie Mouse came out, she goes "I told you Mommy we were at Disney world!" Well alrighty then Alexis! :)

I can not describe how thankful I am for this girl below! I am so glad I walked across the street to meet her when they moved in across the street! We instantly became very close friends! We have had soo many memories, conversations and just fun times together! I treasure them all....especially the one where she drove me to the hospital to have Lily! That is an afternoon I will NEVER forget! :)

This is all of the crew..minus sweet Eva who wasnt born yet! :) I can not wait to have more memories with this group as they grow up!! 

Life long friendships are hard to come by

Friends come and go throughout your life! Some friendships may end badly..some just fade with time...and some just may stand the test of time! I am sooo thankful for my two life long friendships! Misty Faith and Kelly Mac have been by my side for as far back as my memory can remember! Oh, how these two girls and I have had so many memories throughout our years! From Misty's car breaking down on one of our many trips to Gadsden...to Kelly and I thinking her home phone would reach a signal 20 miles from her house so we could pretend to be at her house for curfew, yet still stay out! :) I could go on...and on...and on!! Now that we are "old"... :) .....we still treasure our girl time! I am so thankful for my life long friends!!

Spooktacular Halloween!

This Halloween was one of the most fun we have had! We had a very busy Halloween day! Alexis and Lily both had their Halloween parties at their school! Alexis LOVED her party! It was glow~n~the dark party! It was a really neat idea and all the kids had so much fun! There were glow sticks and neon lights galore! They both had TONS of yummy Halloween food too!
This was our first Halloween in our new neighborhood. We were warned...oh...we were warned by everyone we met that our neighborhood would have alot of trick or treaters. I didnt really believe it.....but OH the warnings were true! I have never seen soooo many people ready to get some candy! There was a line until our candy ran out of kids waiting for candy! We were not prepared! I need to start buying candy now, to get ready for next year! We had such a great time taking the girls up our street. Lily wasnt sure really what to do...but she followed Alexis very well! We enjoyed giving out the candy and seeing all of the different costumes!  When the candy ran out, I cut the lights off outside...and we still had TONS of people come up ringing our doorbell! It was crazy! I just can not get over how many people came to our neighborhood! It was alot of fun, and we made alot of memories!!

Since everyone came over for Halloween...I decided to throw a little Spooktacular Halloween Party! On the menu was green brains, blood and eyeball spaghetti, spider salad, and eyeball doughnuts! We had so much fun!
