Silence....

This weekend was pretty low key. I woke up Friday not feeling so well {I went to bed at 7:30!!}, and by Saturday, I was pretty much no good! :(
Saturday was just one of those days that being social and accomplishing anything was just not in the books for me...and yet I had to work the ACT test! :(  We didnt end up making it to the Fritt's annual Christmas party Saturday night.... but...we still had a good weekend despite me not feeling good.
Tyler and I did get to enjoy a date night though by eating at our favorite Mexican restaurant, and watching the movie Catching Fire, Hunger Games. Nan and Pawpaw kept the girls for us, which made Tyler and I not know what to do with ourselves with the silence! It was weird! :)
Thankfully, I am feeling alot better today and we enjoyed the afternoon with the Grogans by going to eat and then to the Anniston Museum's Christmas light show. It was alot of fun to see all of the lights..and animals, and we cant forget Santa!!

I couldnt find Tyler...and so I look over...and LOOK where he was! He was over there writing 10 pages to Santa for his Christmas list! :)
He mailed it too....soooo......

Nutshell...

Our week in a nutshell has been a good one! Of course around here...there is never a dull moment! :)

My guess is...Lily thought she didnt have enough to eat Wednesday night, so she decided to eat markers!

Lily loved that Ella Jingle was playing with cars...so she got down in the floor and played with them too with her!

Jville parade

Baby...its cold outside! But, we bundled up in several layers...had a heater so therefore we were ready for the Christmas parade! We enjoyed Momma G's with Nan, Pawpaw and Gran and then headed to find a spot to get ready for the parade. This year was a good bit bigger and more of a crowd than last year! It was colder last year though so I dont know if that played a factor or not?!
Alexis loved seeing all the "beauty girls" aka beauty pageant winners! She loved seeing them with their crowns! Lily LOVED seeing the snowman! And...when Santa came down, she kept yelling "Hey Santa!!" and she was waiving her little hand off! :)

Buurrrr!! We hung out in the car for a little while to stay warm before the parade started!

What she has been up to...

Ella Jingle! Oh, Ella Jingle has been busy around our house lately!! {Not sure if it is because of all the things she has been doing or because of all the work she has been having to do to report to Santa on how the girls have been acting!} :)
I love love love to see Alexis get sooo excited in the mornings when she finds Ella Jingle! :)

Party in the Nursing Department!

I enjoyed my first..well actually everyone's first...Christmas party! I have been nominated to be the "party/event" planner at work, so I coordinated our Christmas luncheon! It was so nice and of course we had SO much food! It was a great "end of the year...and semester" Christmas party with my work family! :)

We all enjoyed playing an Ornament exchange game where we brought an ornament that "represents" yourself. We had to guess whose ornament we opened! It was hard...but it was neat to learn more about each other! :)

The day has come for Richard and Pam!! It was a simply beautiful Christmas wedding yesterday! I am sooo happy for them!
Alexis practiced at home! She was sooo funny! She got this huge basket and walked back and forth in the living room!

Alexis cracked me up!!! Pam threw the bouquet to Alexis {you know...when the Bride throws it to all the single ladies...to see who will get married next!} :) Well...Alexis was SO excited that she actually caught it! {Because if anyone remembers Alexis playing tee~ball...catching the ball (or anything for that matter)..isnt Alexis' specialty!} :) Anyways...right after she caught it..Pam asked her if she knew what it meant since she caught it?!? Alexis said "no". So..Pam tells Alexis that it means she has to get married next! Well....Alexis THROWS it down immediately!!..as she is saying "NO, I am not old enough to get married!" It was soooo funny!!!

Go Auburn!!! WHOOO HOO!! What a game! I have to say...NOTHING like the game last weekend against Bama {NO game with probably ever TOP that game!!}...but OH MY....SEC champs!! :)

We enjoyed a very very busy day with Aunt Pam's wedding!! {Post coming!!} :) and then RUSHED home to watch the SEC game against AU and Missouri!!
Brit, Mitchell and Meg came and hung out with us!! {We were all sooo excited that they came to watch the game with us!} :)
I only had to threaten Meg a couple of times that she was going to have to sit outside in the cold if she smiled...laughed...or cheered for Missouri !! :) We had a great time!!
And...they did puzzles....
