Dance 2018!

Yesterday marked the girl's dance recital for the year!

They LOVE to be on stage...and LOVE dancing!

BOTH of them have not STOPPED begging me as to what classes they want to add to the mix in August when the new season starts! OH me! :)

I love to watch them and I love that they are just so beautiful dancing!

Field day fun!

Today is Field day for both girls!

All the 'fun' stuff is happening now that school is winding down...per Lily! ha!

It is for sure a bright and sunny day for a full day of racing, snow cones, games, bouncy houses and more!

She was up and READY super early this morning...with her 'bag of fun' crammed packed and ready too!

'War paint' on her face!....and of course, a snow cone in hand!

Not sure why she is wet! ha! But I love getting pictures like this from friends!!

Taking a break! It was a hot day....and WHEW....both girls were YUCK when I picked them up to go to dance rehearsal! I had the Fritts girls too...and all four took their shoes and socks off, at the same time, in my car as I was heading to Oxford!..........OH, the smell! hahaha!! :)

Time has flown!

Its that time of year, again, where the girls are gearing up for their recital Saturday!

OH, I love to watch them dance so Saturday is always one of my favorite days of the year!

This little one just loves ballet! She keeps begging to take tap next year....so we shall see! :)

This one loooooves dance! She is begging to take hip hop next year....and the 'one with no shoes' too! {Contemporary.....she cant ever remember the word for it! ha!} So...we shall see!

Peter Pan!

Alexis had her last Cast Kidz performance for the season and it was so adorable!

She was a lost boy {lost girl in her opinion} in the Peter Pan performance! The show was just one and it was also just the kids! They all did so well with their lines!

Alexis is looking forward to starting back after summer break with The Wonka jr and The Lion King jr!

Well, its that time of year again when we measure the girls!

To talk about competition between them is an understatement!

BOY do they both hope the other one didnt grow as much as the other! ha!

It is always so neat to see how much they have grown each 6 months that we measure them!

Lily was up first! She grew an inch and a half!

Up next, Alexis! She grew an inch!

So...verdict....again...for the second time in a row....Lily has grown more! Alexis wasnt as sad and shocked....since it happened last time too! I think she is just getting use to the fact that Lily is hitting some faster growth spurts! {Even though...she wants to hit more! ha!}

Then...we enjoyed our basement! The girls always love to play some darts...play some air hockey...and then of course, play Just Dance! This was our last night at our house before spending several nights with Nan and Pawpaw since we were getting our new hardwood floors! whoo hoo!!

We are excited about the new changes that are coming our way in our home!

Its not too fun to move all of our furniture, or wait on it all to be completed

BUT

it sure is going to be nice once it is done!

So exciting! Cant wait to see it all completed!

A Rome Braves day!

Daddy and Lex had a great day today on Alexis' 4th grade field trip to the Rome Braves game!

I have never been to one of their games but Tyler said they had a blast....the Braves won and, bonus, they both saw Brandi at the game, too, since she was on a field trip with her school!

I asked Tyler to take some pictures throughout the day....

and he sent me one!

Glad they had a great day together!

My 'May' day!

I hit the ground running!

OH, I love! Perfection of a day....just for ME since two little girls are still in school...and Tyler is working!

If you have never had a 'me day'..............I suggest you try it from time to time! You can NEVER take care of others...if yourself isnt working to its best! Today, I made it all about me and it was a great day! :)

Ahhh!!!....

I made this smoothie and OH...my 'me day' just got bumped up 10 notches! ha! It was SSOOOO good and healthy! I propped my feet up.....soaked up some sun and sipped on this smoothie once I was done with my run!
