This girl of mine has knocked 4th grade out of the park! My heart explodes at how proud I am of her and how I get the honor of being her Mom!

Alexis has had such a great year and I am soooo thankful because last year she did awesome in 3rd but it was just a hard year for all of us! Whew am I glad that this year happened! I can not wait to see what the future holds for her!

These two are beyond PUMPED that today was their last MONDAY of school! :)

Fun day Sunday!

Lily has been waiting for Anna's birthday party allllllllll weekend!

This afternoon marked it finally getting here! :)

We had Church....lunch and then came home for a couple of hours and the girls played some before Lily and I headed to Anna's 6th birthday!

Today marked our first trip floating down the creek today for the year!

Perfection!

It was so nice...perfect weather...the water was a perfect level......and perfect temp water too!

So relaxing...great family time and more fun memories to mark down!

Daddy brought his new little friend and took it for a run out on the land! He had to dodge cow poop while riding! bahaha!! :)

Alexis and Lily both rode a little bit with him!

And then...Lily did some driving before we left!

And then Alexis drove! They always love LOVE...love to drive Daddy's truck when we go to the cow pasture! It is soooo fun to tell Alexis to 'Go 10 miles an hour and then come to a stop and turn right' So...she will do that and then put her blinker on! She is pretty good at driving...and she is only 9! :)

We came home and had a picnic lunch outside and Lily ran through the sprinklers while Alexis jumped on the trampoline and played with slime! {OH.....slime I do not like you!} :)

This chick had a great day! To top off the awesome day......later on this afternoon, we loaded up and hit Moes for dinner and caught some errands before heading home to a relaxing movie time and as I type this..bedtime for the girls! :)

Alexis is famous!

She was on ABC 33/40's 5:00pm news yesterday since James Spann came and visited their grade!

She was SOOOO excited to see herself on TV!

3 things!

I havent done a '3 things' post in a long while so I thought it was time for one!

Oh I love these!

Alexis!

1. She is still ALLLL about dancing, singing and performing. Ending Cast Kidz and her dance recital has just took her even more over board with it all! She loves it! Daily she begs me to watch YouTube video performances on her IPAD...what dance classes she is going to take next year and so on and so on!

2. She is 'boy' crazy these days! I dont know what has happened toward the middle to end of 4th grade but OH my goodness! She literally comes home every other day with 'I like Pat!' 'Pat likes me!' Then two days later, 'Oh, I dont like Pat anymore, I like Parker.' 'Well, now I like Jack and not Caden.' I distinctly remember Meagan and Mal doing the same thing {they were older if I remember correctly} and I remember telling them that I cant keep up with them but to just be sure and invite me to their wedding! Well, Ive been invited and attended Mal's and waiting on Meg's! ha! Sooo...this brings flashbacks with Alexis....so, Im just going to wait and be invited to her wedding! :) :)

3.  Since she was baptized several weeks ago, she has been so into learning more about God, and reading her devotional, etc. I have been really proud of her and her wanting to grow as a new Christian. She is also working on her 'attitude' and back talking too. She has a little room to get better on those points though! :)

Lily!

1. She is SO into Math these days! She can pop off an addition or subtraction problem so quick! Just yesterday she came home with a Math workbook from her teacher and said that she is so excited to work on it throughout the Summer. She has done 3 pages last night and tonight in it! She is one smart cookie! :)

2. She has grown so much! Not only has she grown in the shoe department {and gotten taller} she has grown so much maturely too! I just cant get over how  she catches on to things and how she explains things to Alexis when she doesnt 'get' something! It cracks me up because Lily always starts the conversation off with 'Alexis I am younger than you....' ha!

3. She LOVES little 'nicknacks!' OH my goodness....she has soooo many little legos, little dolls, little ANYTHING...and she keeps them all in her bags, etc like a little hoarder! ha! It cracks me up!

Blessed to be their Mom!

Today marked Mother's day!

It was a beautiful and low key day! Perfection I call it! :)

Started out the day with moving and cleaning since we are trying to get our house back together since we have our floors finished! And...we ended the day the same! ha!

We had Church and then lunch with Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi at Classic on Noble! Delish!

I am so blessed God allowed me to be Alexis and Lily's Mommy! I am not the most perfect Mom in the world...I get frustrated, tired, say things I shouldnt, yell too....but even when I think I am being the not so best Mom....I am thankful God still knows Im trying my hardest and love those two sassy, beautiful, sweet and smart girls with everything in me! Thank you Lord for the blessings you have given!

I just LOVE the sweet gifts from the girls that they work hard on to give me each year! Alexis wrote a song about all the things she loves to do with me, etc! It was super sweet!
And...Lily brought me this!

She is really good at 'Kook' {She said Im good at cooking!} :) :)
She is super because 'she is nis' {She is nice!} :)

These two girls are what makes me have the best title of all!...........Mommy! :)
