The little Law family Christmas!

Well...

we broke 'tradition' yesterday....

and Im okay with it! :)

So, we got up yesterday morning and were just lounging around when Tyler wanted me to open my gift....

well, that sparked us all just opening our gifts from our little family!

We capped off a wonderful 'just us' day with the new Mary Poppins and then to Gilley's Christmas lights!

We had the BEST day!....

just us 4!

This one was READY to tear into some presents! :)
She has been wanting one of these unicorn hairbrushes since forever! ha!
Drumroll....
SUPER pumped! This girl is into some music and concerts!
Super excited! We are going to Carrie Underwood!
She is excited too! She just didnt know what it was that she was holding! bahaha!
This is her 'excited' face! She really was excited about her Christmas pjs that she will wear on Christmas Eve! :)
THIS face! Lily and her have beggggged for months to have these pullovers! Talk about super excited to have one...with their initials too!
Lily is actually hugging hers! bahaha!
Tyler has a knack for picking out the best purses for me! Love my new gift!
Lex loves the mug Lily got her!.............along with the Starbucks gift card too! She drank her hot pumpkin-apple cider as soon as she was dressed and able!
Then...once we were all cleaned up...we headed to Mary Poppins! They are sporting their new pullovers! Mary Poppins was super cute!
Then...capped off the night with Gilley's Christmas lights! We have been dying to go visit there...so we finally made it last night! We along with what seemed like everyone else in the USA went last night! The line was miles long...but we made it in and it was oh so worth it!
My pictures turned out horrible! BOO! But...proof we did go! :)
Checking out all the lights!
Night made to say congratulations to these two gentlemen! SUPER proud and excited for them that they won the Great Light Fight on TV! They WON $50,000!!! Out of 4 other homes, etc that were on the show versus them {from all over the US} their light displays WON! This is the trophy that Carter {oh he is sooo cute on TV! :) gave them from the show!} SUPER neat that they won!
All of their displays are from their Dad! He has now passed away but the two brothers {above} still carry on the Gilley tradition to put out what their Dad made! Lily loved pointing out things she learned from the show...like for example, their Dad made it spin by using items he had laying around...such as an ice cream motor! :)
Lily under the rainbow by the Ark!
My pictures dont do it justice! The alligator was HUGE!
And...look at the detail in the dinosaur! :) Those teeth looked real!
This was Alexis' favorite part! She was dying to find this when we got there so she could see it because she thought it was so neat from the show! If you look closely, it spins so fast to make the little wooden people {inside} dance! :) :)
We broke 'tradition' but it was OH so worth and we had the BEST little night as a family!

#girlsgirlsgirlsanddirtysanta!

Oh....my two have been counting down the days to have their parties!

Mrs. Carrie decided to take the 'big girls' so I had the 'littles' for their Christmas party last night!

It was a hit!

They had soooo much fun! They played, ate, laughed, sang, danced, made crafts, mastered Dirty Santa, and more!

Such sweet memories!

This was such a little helper getting everything prepped and ready for her friends!
The 1st guest! Callie made the sweetest card that said 'Thank you...best friend...for letting me come over!' {haha!} :)
Sweet 'stairstep' friends! ha!
These two....no words! :)
This year's picture! Love our little picture tradition! ha!
Alllllll the girls!
All these girls are just adorable and the sweetest!
Time for food....and crafts!....and making them all Rudolphs too! :)
'Hanging out!' :)
Love these girls!
Dirty Santa time! This CRACKED me up and made my night! Allllll of them raised their hands that they have played before! {I knew some actually have never played!} I explained to them how alllll the gifts were great gifts and to not get upset if you dont get the exact gift you were wanting, etc, etc.

So, we start to play...and they are all so confused! ha! So, I helped them through! The funniest part was...if they opened a gift that they really didnt want or that they really wanted one that someone else had...they would push the gifts out and say {over and over}...'you can steal mine...you can steal mine' while that person was deciding what to do! :)
Then...fun in the basement! They all love our basement! Cant be a party without at least once trying to do something 'cheerleader' :)
Talking, playing, dancing and laughing!
Sweet friends! We are soooo glad Madelyn moved to Jacksonville!
More playing and having fun! So many sweet memories made! Lily said she had the 'best' party with her friends!
Meanwhile.....Alexis claimed she had the 'best' party with her friends!
The 'bigs!'
Mrs. Carrie hosted them so they made gingerbread houses!
Alexis is so creative and crafty! I dont know who she gets it from...because it isnt Tyler or me! ha! :)
Dirty Santa time! Sweet memories made for these sweet girls too! :)

Women's Progressive Christmas dinner!

OH..what a fun night full of food and girl talk/time!

My Church had our Women's Progress Christmas dinner last night and it was a perfect way to kick off Christmas break!

Such a great night!

I was ready! I hosted appetizers! There were 6 hosts, and I was one of them!
I just love what I made! haha! They were SO good! Cranberry cream cheese balls! BUT...what I love was....they were 'Christmas trees with an ornament!' :)
So happy with how they turned out!
So, we started and ended at Eaglepoint! So fun!
We ate appetizers!....and had a great time just chatting! This isnt all of them that were at my house before we left for Main Dish!
Ashley's house was decorated so cute! We had Main Dish here!
So fun! Love these girls@
Then desserts were back at Eaglepoint so we could all end together! There was about 30 or so of us that all ended the night with each other!
Alllll the desserts!
Such a fun night to kick off the busy.....but FUN holiday break!

It's almost Christmas and SCHOOL is OUT!

The girls have been counting down the days to the last day before Christmas break!

They have had a busy and fun week at school so they havent been too bummed that they have still be in school!

It has been filled with movies, a field trip to see The Grinch for Alexis and her 5th grade class, making ornaments, Santa, candy, parties and more!

Is she not the most adorable little thing on this planet!?!?
She had PJ day.....combined with movie day....and she was pumped!
On this day, she had her class Christmas party....AND...Ella Jingle did something new this year! Ella Jingle wrote the girls a little note about having a kind and helping heart and donating to kids who dont have a Christmas! Lily ate this up! She had the bin FULL by the time Alexis even woke up! This wasnt even all of it that she went and picked out! Alexis donated a good bit too! I took three big bags to a co-worker of mine who councils children. The kids get to pick a stuffed animal once they are done with their counseling session! My girls loved knowing that they were helping make a girl or boy feel better!
And, she was ready for her class Christmas party too!....and ready to give Mrs. Smith her Christmas gift! LAST day of school before Christmas break! Whoooo hooooo!
So what did we do on our 1st day of Christmas break?!?! {Yesterday, Thursday the 20th???}.....yeah...a visit to the good ole dentist! The girls were thrilled to be apart of the no cavities club still!
Alexis was confirmed that she has 2 more teeth loose and that she needs to 'extra' wiggle them to get the on out...

Well...Lily was told she has 2 'semi' loose teeth too! {Mrs. Jennifer was just being nice because Lily is DYING to have a tooth out!} :) :)
