Get your lemonade and honeysuckles on Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

We dont normally celebrate Cinco de Mayo...but today we actually did!

We started out by Church, lunch, not one but 4 trips to the grocery store {long story}, a lemonade and honeysuckle sale, trampoline fun, baseball game in the yard, and then tacos and fun at the Messers!

It was a great Sunday!

These two worked super hard on their posters!

Getting them ready! Oh my goodness they were cracking me UP with what they wanted to put on their posters..and what they wanted to charge people! For example, Lily said $5.00 for a cup! {Yeah, I shot that down!} :) Then, Alexis decided they should only fill the cups halfway and charge one amount and then fill it full and charge a higher amount. {Yeah, shot that down too!} Goodness! :)

And, there are the honeysuckles!...................ready to be sold! :)

Their very 1st customers of the day! They were super pumped! Now, you see Hope on the left. Yeah...technically she was the 1st {as you can tell, she is drinking} but she didnt have any money....so she got some for free! ha!

They had a big turn-out! Mrs. Adams stopped by {Sara Kate's grandmother} so that was sweet of her!

Meanwhile, Lily and Tyler had an intense game of soccer and then basketball. Then Ryker and his Mom, Bethany, came over and there was an even bigger game of baseball! :)

So, after a full day outside....and working hard selling, we cleaned up and headed to the Messer's to enjoy a taco bar full of all things Cinco de Mayo! So fun and a great way to end the fun day!

Lily's pictures have been put off for four times now! BUT, this morning, we finally got some even though it rained again!

She is such a 'go getter!' They tied today 1-1!

She always plays so hard! I didnt get many pictures because it started raining so I just put my camera up. We came home and just soaked up being lazy! We all just curled up and had a nice and relaxing afternoon at home! Perfection!

The night finally came! We have known we were going to see Carrie Underwood since Christmas!

We were soooo excited for it to be finally here!

Happy 13th birthday to Allie! We not only had fun seeing Carrie Underwood...we threw in Allie's 13th birthday celebration too!

Cowfish! OH so good and fun atmosphere right at the Summit! We did some shopping {of course we had to hit Charming Charlie} and then dinner time! We were all starving!

This. This is a Cowfish in case you didnt think one existed! They had two really pretty aquariums!

LOOK at my food! This was sooo awesome and sooooooooooo good! It is a hamburger...but not...but like sushi! SO GOOD!

Lily LOVED her Bentobox!  Especially her sushi dessert! :)

And..the only one that actually ate real sushi! ha!

They did the BEST happy birthday for Allie! Like a HUGE cake and they sang and then they hit the Japanese instrument at the end! It was really neat and for the life of me, I cant think of what its called that they hit! ha!

TIME for Carrie!

Found our seats and we were ready!

We had the best seats! We were right on the end to where we could pop down to the restrooms and to get drinks! We were right in view of where she performed most too!

Then...Mrs. Leslie saw us! We were right up from her! So happy she spotted us! The girls just love her!

NOW...time for her!

Carrie...OH my goodness...she cant belt it out! Just beautiful!

She sang for a straight 2 hours! I just dont know how she does it all! She has a newborn baby and a 3 year old! She didnt get done performing until 10:30 which meant she still had to get to where she was staying...get ready for bed after meet and greets and whatever else she had to do. THEN today she is performing in Little Rock! I mean...I am exhausted today....and WOW if I were her and had to perform again tonight! {And not to mention this is just the beginning of her tour! WOW!} It was a great show and we made wonderful memories!
Side-note, Lily fell asleep during her singing! YES, I know! Like, WHAT?!?! I have NO idea how she could do that because it was sooo loud and the lights, etc just made it NOT an easy and calm place to sleep! But, when Lily is tired, she is tired and sure enough, I look over and and she is passed out in her chair! She sleep for a good 30 minutes, if not more until she {out of nowhere} just popped back awake! Thank goodness because none of us would have been able to carry her out! ha! She got to the car and about 5 minutes in, she was passed out again and sleep the whole way home! Sweet girl, just cant hang like she thinks she can! :) 

This and that lately!

I have a little assortment of 'what we have been up to lately' randomness that I thought I would share for memories sake!

LOOK at that focus and concentration! Tyler decided on us having a black splash in the kitchen! Whoop whoop! He has been working so hard on it and doing it all by himself!

And...oh, I am loving it! He is such a handyman!

Earlier in the week....we got this little one to liking honeysuckles!
Well, her Mommy sent me this picture 3 days later {when we were not home} of Collins just 'having to come to Mrs. Amber's, Lily's and Alexis' house to pick her some honeysuckles!' Sweet picture...and sweet baby!
Mean Mommy, though, because Kristi texted me that she let her pick alot but only let her eat 2! WHAT?!? Good thing I wasnt home! :)

Alexis and I supported SP and watched his team play against Heflin. We didnt stay the whole game because BOY....baseball games are slow and long...{or maybe it was just this one. Who knows} So, we left after like the 4th. They were loosing when we left but it was fun to see SP in action.

Sweet boy. He kept looking over....every.single.time. at Alexis to see if she was watching him. :)

A Golden Eagle growing TALL!

It's that time again...

BOTH girls...

get SO hyped about this day!

They stand tall. They basically dont breathe. Not a muscle is moved so they can ensure that Daddy gets the exact measurement because...

they BOTH want to be the one who has grown the most since the last time!

So, this time...

Alexis actually grew the most! For like the past 4 times, it has been Lily!

But, Alexis actually grew more than Lily this time and to say Alexis was thrilled is an understatement!

Lily was SOOOOO excited to bring home her GOLDEN EAGLE necklace! She is SO excited to have made Golden Eagle! She got this from her reading level and how many high passing grades she has made on her book reading tests! I am SO SUPER proud of her achievement!

So, tonight...the NIGHT!

Signing her name! She is already 4 foot 8 inches! WHAT!?!?! You should have seen her face beaming when that measurement was written!

Lily's turn! OHHH....the nerves! bahaha!

And...verdict in! Signing her name! She has grown too! 4 feet already! WOW!

They are just growing and growing...and growing! Time needs to slow down!
