What was I doing 8 years ago today?!?!

8 years! What was I doing 8 years ago today? Well, it was a typical Tuesday. I got up and ready for work, the only difference was I had a ginormous basketball as a belly! Took Alexis to daycare and headed to work! Feeling great, that day, I went to my doc for my weekly check-up and left with a 'you look great, I'll see you next week!' I headed back to work and finished out my day! Once I got Lex from school, I was SO hungry for some crazy reason. Like, could not wait another minute for food! So, Lex and I headed to Jim-N-Nicks for an early dinner {as Tyler was out of town!} While eating I got a huge cramp that made me have to stand up to 'stretch it out!' I will NEVER forget the look on {what seemed to be an 18 year old} young boy waiter's face as I think he was in panic mode thinking he was going to have to deliver a baby as he was asking me if I was okay! :) I said I was fine, we finished eating and headed home. Once I got home, and since Tyler was out of town, we headed over to our dear friends {and neighbor} to play.
Well...let's just say....things went CRAZY from there! If it wasnt for the awesome 'DEGA' speedway driver, awesome friend, Mandi, I would not have made it to the hospital! My water broke in her car as she was racing down HWY 280,afternoon traffic, with 3 kiddos wondering WHAT in the world was going on....in the backseat! {Because Cole, her husband, was out of town too!}
I drug myself to the St. Vincent's Women's wing to announce...'IM HAVING A BABY!' :) Needless to say, it was allll a blur after that!
Lillian Grace Law decided she wanted to come into this world 2 weeks early and everything has been on her terms since! She keeps us laughing and keeps us on our toes everyday!
I am SO thankful God chose me to be her Mom and how she completes our family perfectly! Happy birthday Lilybug!

Cheer pics round 1!

Technically it is round 2 of cheer pictures...as she was sick when they had them with the whole squad. Luckily, this new photography company can photoshop kids into the picture....so she will be put in with the others!

So since we were not at the football field..I didnt go 'all out' taking pictures of her as I will wait until she has her hair 'fixed' {curled} for the Homecoming game and get better pictures then! That will be round 2....{technically round 3 for pictures!} :)

So, I took a few in the front yard before we headed!

I dont like how they 'washed' out her face....the flash came on for some reason!...but, I still love this little Eagle!

She is just growing up soooo fast!

Birthday surprise!

Nan and Pawpaw brought over Lily's birthday gift this afternoon!

She opened a new bike helmet and was super excited about it as she is sooo excited it matches her friend Hope!

Then she started reading the card....and as she was reading it out loud, it said 'We hope you enjoy your new bike!'

You should have seen her face!

Complete surprise and shock! It was the sweetest!

We have spent the rest of the afternoon learning to change gears and riding up and down...and down and up our street!

Then....later that afternoon, I took this crew to Youth at Church! MY goodness I can not believe that they are old enough for it! Just growing up super fast! Carli took this picture of all of them and sent it to me! ha!

The rest of the day and weekend!

So, continued on... we got out of our soaking wet clothes off {from Lily's game} and I started on the cooking portion of the day!

We enjoyed the AU win while the kids played and not to mention the YUM-O food!

This was my view as I headed to run an errand! Willa Kate and Lex riding scooters!

Then...I had the Fritts kids. These two....are.a.mess! They both ended up walking over to Hayden's house and swimming a good portion of the night and had a great time!

These two did everything under the sun! They had a great time together!

Whew...it was a scorcher out there today! They cheered their hearts out despite the heat and had so much fun too!

The boys lost by 1 against Southside. They played hard...but they scored at the end of the game! Boo! :)

We grabbed lunch....and headed home to showers and gearing up for Nan, Pawpaw, Brandi and the Fritts kids over to watch AU football! Warrrr Eagle!

We did not labor!

Labor day was full of doing pretty much nothing...

and it was awesome!

We hung out around the house the entire day....just enjoying being home and the relaxation that comes with it!

Alexis spent the night with Willa Kate so once she came home, WK came too so they played the entire afternoon {roaming back and forth between WK's house and ours throughout the time}until had to leave to meet Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi for a great dinner!

They painted for a good while out in the front yard! Making masterpieces...then they played ping pong, basketball, air hockey, jumped on the trampoline, made 'live' videos, ate lunch, then took off for a little while over to WK, then came back...then left again!
Once they were finished we all got cleaned up and then headed to some shopping before meeting them all to eat!
I would say it was a perfect day to help roll us into the week!

That time when....

So....

it has happened....

she wore my shoes to Church today.

Yep.

That time has come and to say she was OVER the moon is an understatement! She spent 20 minutes in my closet trying on alllllll of my sandles....claiming she was going to wear them allll.....and keep them alllll and me telling her to get out...stop...put them back...stop...get out....put them back!

OH me! :) It is official....she is growing up right.before.my.eyes.

SEEEEEEE.....I just cant believe it. Cant wrap my head around it. WHAT?!?! She is in my shoes and SUPER proud and happy about it!
She beamed from ear to ear walking out to get in the car about it!

And...this one....my goodness, it wont be long until she can wear my clothes and shoes too! Time slow down!

Its football time!

Whoop whoop!

Auburn pulled out a huge WIN last night against a very hard team {Oregon} and it was great to watch!

We had the Messer's, Ray's and the Soriano's over for a TON of football food, laughs, playing, chatting, and football game watching!

We had a great night! A perfection of a way to kick-off football season!

We are READY for football Saturdays in our orange and blue!

 Cassell was thrilled to have Lily play with her. Lily fixed her hair 'fancy'...played teacher with her...legos and more! Cassell was Lily's little side-kick the whole night!

I got them to slow down for 2 seconds to snap a picture! They were in the midst of playing hide-n-seek!

These two were so excited that they were twinning when Sydney came in! I love their shirts!

Everyone enjoying football....and football food! YUM! Im sad I didnt take a picture of my kitchen.....as it was loaded with TONS of all things football deliciousness!{What I love most about this picture...is the pine cones on the table! Sweet Calhoun walked and walked around our backyard to collect them for us! ha!....and then brought some up to put on the table for me to see them!} :)
