Seriously...how tall are you?!

Tonight marked our 6 month growth reportings!

ha!

So, this is ALWAYS such an INTENSE time in the Law home!

When this day comes...BOTH girls just get soooooo serious and can NOT wait to see who has grown the most!

So....

the results are in....

and...

and.......

and......

AND....

Lex. In 6 months she has grown almost THREE (3) inches! YEP! I mean...she goes from a size 1 to a size 6 shoe...and almost 3 inches in 6 months! Like that is just unbelievable! That is the biggest growth spurt I have ever heard of!

Lily grew a little over an inch....

which is average for a 6 month span...

BUT....she was NOT happy that Alexis grew more than her this round! :)

Lily was up first! OH...the seriousness!

 Alexis' picture didnt turn out very viewable of her growth...but it was HUGE! She is a couple inches shy of being my height............and she can already wear my shoes! WHAT???!!

Low key!

We had the best little low key weekend yet!

Saturday we spent the entire day soaking up the mid 60's weather at home doing nothing but relaxing...watching football with a little Christmas decorating thrown in too!

Yesterday was filled with another beautiful day mixed with Church, lunch, shoe shopping and the Youth for Alexis that night!

I have to say....I just can NOT get over how Alexis went from a size 1 shoe to MY size!

Yes, she has NO shoes...no boots now so we had to go shopping!

So, this was me on a Saturday night! White chocolate hot chocolate with marshmallows, my comfy blanket....Auburn football on the TV...and some Christmas twinkle already glowing!

NO shame in my game that I already have some decor up! I just couldnt resist as I was putting up Halloween to go ahead and get some out! :) :)

AND...I made the BEST hot chocolate EVER for everyone at Halloween! It was a hit and OH MY it is soooo good! So, I finished it off this weekend! YUM! :)

Field tripping!

So....yeah...

someone decided to have the 2nd grade field trip the day after Halloween!....

Kids on a 2 hour bus ride...hyped up on a candy high still....kids with lack of sleep because they stayed out too late trick or treating...

but everyone survived....and had a blast today!

I love this picture! Tyler did a great job sending me pictures of their fun time together! They went to the Chattanooga Aquarium which included the IMAX and the butterfly exhibit!

Trying to make it open its mouth! ha! They got home around 3 and once Lex got home from school and I got home from work....we have spent the entire rest of the night....curled up! Ahhh...nice! :)

HALLOWEEN!

One of my most favorite nights of the year!

Halloween is just SO fun and I just love it!

We had a blast as usual!

The weather worked out, thank goodness! The rain went away...the cold did set in but we were nice and bundled up so that didnt stop us.....or our friends and family....or the crowd! :)

We had the best night!

I just love my invitations for Halloween! It gets us in the Halloween spirit! :)

Dinner was ready...and then the crowd hit! Bloody eyeballs and green brain spaghetti was ready, chicken cheese dip, salad, chicken noodle soup and MORE! :)

These girls just could not wait to set out!

 Then...Alexis was OFF to Carli's to meet the other M & M's!

He loved Halloween!

We all had the best night! Collins was my super helper! She helped give out candy with me! My garage was the happening place to stay out of the cold!

These crew took off for some candy!

And they saw alot of fun decor!

I just LOVE our neighborhood! I just do!

Oh sweet Collins! She helped me the entire night! She would just 'stand watch' like this waiting on kids to come! When she would see them...9 out of 10 times she would take off running to them to give them candy before they were even half-way up the drive-way! ha!

The people the trick or treat know to walk for safety and not drive but we do have some that fill up trailers {which is great, I think and they go slow so it is okay} Well, I just loved this one that stopped!

And....hhhmmm....THIS! This guy had to bend down to fit under my garage! He was THAT tall....and OH my scary!

Later...this crew came running up! They had the BEST time trick or treating all together!

And....THIS crew had the best time too! Dont think for one minute that they let the big kids out do them! :)

So much fun!

Wrapping up our Halloween week!

Of course with it being Halloween week our cute Halloween attire was in order!

Alexis didnt participate as she felt she was too grown but she did throw in a pumpkin shirt one day and then wore her 'M' shirt on Halloween to commemorate the occasion!  :) 

Monday! The beginning of the cuteness!

Tuesday...so much more cuteness!

Wednesday! HUMP day and one day left until Halloween!

After work and school we went to the JSU Caf to enjoy their Halloween dinner! We have loved this tradition each year and it never disappoints! These three had fun eating and were being super silly! Also...notice Lily's dessert! Yeah...she mushed a rice krispy treat into an icec ream cone!

When we were leaving they had a bobbing for ducks Halloween game. Lily won a prize! A cute witch!

The Messer's came over and watched as we carved our pumpkins!...Lily showed off her prize!

Lily worked hard on her pumpkin! She drew it so well!

Daddy worked on carving Lily's while Alexis drew her design! Camille and Madelyn chose the design for our third pumpkin so I worked on that one!

Lily even helped take out the 'guts' and didnt once say anything about it being 'yucky' this year like she has done in the past!

And..the final products! Alexis, Lily's and Camille and Madelyns!

They were super proud!

Then we went in and made Halloween bark! SOOO cute and sooooo yummy!

Loved how it turned out and its ready for Halloween!

Thursday...and its HALLOWEEN! Whoop whoop!
