Friday nights with some screaming Eagles!

 Whew...the other team...got their booty whooped Friday!

We blew Talladega out of the water!

It was a perfectly fall weathered game but once the score turned 76 to 14.............

I mean, we ended up letting preschoolers come in the game to play! :)

Lily was pumped to get to be announced since she is a screaming Eagle before the game! And, of course we loved watching our favorite cheerleader!

Our Lilybug.........is 11!

 She is 11.  She is as tall as me. {Just shy a couple of inches and she will be right there!} Her shoe size is the same as me. Her legs are soooo long and just keep growing by the second! 

She is just growing up!

We had her family birthday dinner at Mongo's last night and she enjoyed one of her newest favorite places to eat with Gran, Ben, Brandi, Nan and Pawpaw.

And today, the birthday girl requested tacos so that is just what I made and she declared it the best dinner ever! :)

Soccer practice was thrown into her birthday day but since she loves soccer, she was fine with it!

This weekend she has her friend party so she is super excited and cant wait for the weekend to get here!

The BIG 11!

We love to bring their Alexa into the kitchen and we play themed music based on what I make for dinner. For example...if I make Chinese food, we listen to Chinese music while we eat. If I make pasta, we listen to Italian. 

Since it was her birthday...we listened to birthday party music. It was a whole bunch of different songs about birthdays and singing happy birthday! It was fun! 

Happy birthday sweet Lily. We love you and all of your sass and hope you have the best year yet!

We had the best little trip to Auburn!

Great weather, great game with a win, all the fun, shopping, bowling, eating...and this trip...added Pickle ball! ha!

We hit allll of our favorites spots including this new gem that we have heard about! Crumble cookies! Delish and HUGE!

We spent the night and enjoyed sleeping in! We did some more shopping, eating at our favorite spots and then went and checked out this amazing Pickle ball area in Opelika!

I mean HUGE!

No telling how much was spent on this! We played 3 games and then went to a very late lunch before heading home to...............................................school work the rest of the afternoon/night once we were back home.

We had the best trip as always to our favorite place!

Those Friday nights!

 Well....Friday night lights are my favorite.....

even if it rains the whole game and we lose.

It isnt as fun,but it was a great game and always interesting to play Anniston {especially with their band. I mean. Whew....talk about some dance moves....and some action!}

Jacksonville played hard and was winning the whole game until the end, Anniston rallied and came back with the win. It wasnt terrible with the rain until the 4th quarter and the guys just couldnt hold it out and it was a tough loss.

We got to see Hank and Reese!! And..a NEW baby on the way!

 Oh my goodness it makes me so happy to see my cousins with their kiddos!

Everyone has little ones! Including Meg who is due to March! YAYY!!

So Blake and Margie are in town for a little bit so we met them and the kiddos played! LaLa had Reese because she is staying with them so Mallory and Bill can be with Maggie as she recovers so it worked out so well to spend time!

I just LOVE them all so it was a great afternoon!

I am SO beyond excited for these two! Sweet baby Miles Benjamin Dewberry coming soon!

Reese...oh my goodness, little sassy thing! We had her telling us what everyone's name is and if she forgot, she would call them 'abba du du!' 

I was dying laughing! That girl....her age...saying 'abba du du' {like where did that word in her mind even come from} bahahaha! Too funny! 

{Notice Lily's hair....Madelyn re-did it for her because she said I didnt do the 'bubbles' correctly! I have to say this looks better than the picture I took of her before she left school with the way I had fixed it! ha!} :)

Reese just ate up the big girls playing with her! Her dress had to come off because she wanted to play in the rain puddles! It was a sweet afternoon!

For the record, I remember when my two were the size of Reese. Look at them now! Gracious time flies!

Lily's full of glow!

 Lily had her fun day, glow day today and to say.....BOY was she excited this morning!

She wore all things that would help her 'glow!' 

She made two special bracelets and a ring {making those are her new thrill} that had bright colors so she would glow more! She wore her tennis skirt because she said it would glow....

and she had me fix her hair exactly like THIS with white rubber bands so her hair would glow too! ha!

She was super pumped about the t-shirt they all got because the blue and yellow are her favorite colors. 

This girl was excited about today!

Cant wait to hear all about it and how many laps she ran during the glow run too!

A day in History-Queen Elizabeth passes away

 

The life she has lived. The reign she has carried out. 7 decades. She is the epitome of women's strength and leadership. She was 96. Legendary.

This day goes down in History.

2nd place Pickle ball champs!

 We did it!

We rocked it!

So proud of us!

Our marriage survived too! :)

We had a great time playing the two day single elimination 1st ever JSU Pickle ball tournament!

2nd place has a great ring to it!

We both worked hard, played hard and did great!

I have to say the team that beat us.....the 'best' player was a tennis instructor for 14 years so the fact that we held with them 11 to 15 speaks volumes! ha!

Way to GO! Whooo hooo!

 This isnt everyone but had a great time with this group!

New changes weekend!

 A lot of new this weekend!

New schoolwork being done....on a holiday weekend too!............yeah, sad! :)

FOOTBALL is BACK in action!

Whoo hoo Auburn is back and they had a big win! 

And...then today we went to our new home until we have our newer home built!

We were welcomed to the new FBC Jacksonville.

It was a great service and we all enjoyed it! I think its going to be a big change but a great one!

This was my view for the majority of our Saturday morning. If you can spot Alexis' back to the back left and then Tyler to the back right...and then my books and computer were by me. All three of us working/studying hard! Yeah, not so much a fun way to spend a holiday weekend Saturday...but we have to do what we have to do! :)

Lily was the only free one! She spent the night with Gran to stay and play with Grey. She had a blast! We met them to get her back and have dinner before..............

It was a great first service. It was really good to see a lot of our friends that we never get to see since we have been split. It was a nice change.
