Thanksgiving 2015!

We had a great Thanksgiving and boy is the week flying by!

I just dont know why if I was at work, the week would drag but when I am out a week....it flies!

We went to Gran's house Wednesday night and enjoyed dinner with Nannie, Hogan, Pam and Richard.

Then yesterday was Thanksgiving!!

I have so much to be thankful for and I am just so blessed! There is always, always, always something to be thankful for even when there is darkness!

We enjoyed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade before getting ready for lunch at The Classic with Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi.

It was packed! There were a ton of people enjoying Thanksgiving lunch there! And, it didnt disappoint as always!

We had just enough time to come home and I cooked up some things to take to LaLa's!

The girls have been so excited all week to go to her house and kept asking when we were leaving every 5 minutes!

We enjoyed round 2 of Thanksgiving food and playing Aunt Pam's games! Yes, Aunt Pam's games are something else...but we all had a lot of laughs which was great!

Now, it is the end of the week and we are enjoying the beautiful weathered day today and soaking up the last little bit before we have to go back to work and school Monday!

Lily and I went to the doctor this morning. Poor thing has an ear infection. We got her some medicine and then planning on shopping for our little girl from the Salvation Army Angel Tree tonight and sending her gifts off for her. Her name is Lily....like our Lily, and I hope the girls understand that we are helping her have a great Christmas and that Christmas is about giving more than receiving!

Lily enjoying pie and both of them enjoying Monster's INC movie at Gran's Wednesday night!
 Happy Thanksgiving!! Big Turkey!
Little Turkey!
Big and little Turkey! :)
This girl! She is getting too big for her britches!!  A peace sign and 'kissy lips' OH me! :)
My little family of four!
Nan and Brandi with the girls!
They adore Margie! They both were fighting over her lap! :)
This crazy crew. Alexis and Lily really enjoy having someone their own age to play with at family get togethers now!
The girls! :) :)
Look who is back!?!? Ella Jingle has been sad the past couple of days without her magic! Lily touched her several days ago..................and the rule is................... no touching Ella Jingle except for Mommy!.................so, she hasnt been doing anything. Well, Lily wrote a letter to Santa saying she was sorry for touching her and that she wanted Ella Jingle to have her magic back! Well, Santa must have approved because this morning Ella Jingle was in my tree!........and wearing Lily's hair bow! :) :)
She still looks adorable....even in a doctor's office! :)

Feeding the Pilgrims and the Snow Princess!

We have had a mixture of fun today!

Out of no where....we had a spur of the moment trip to Birmingham today!

Lily bug went to school {I know, bummer right} but only because she was excited about her super fun Thanksgiving party and feast that they were having today!

So, she dressed in all black {because at school they were putting on the Pilgrim attire} and headed to school today!

Sooooo while she was in school, Tyler, Alexis and I headed to Birmingham to ice skate!!

It was an experience! We had SO much fun............and boy, it was a work-out too!

It was Alexis' and Tyler's first time to skate and might as well been mine because I think I went one time when I was like 13!.....

So, we did a lot of slow moves and praying we were not going to fall! :) :)

We did some shopping before heading home to freshen up and get Lily! We then headed to Nan's for dinner with her and Brandi and Pawpaw! YUM! :)

Busy...busy day yet again on our fun week off! Making sweet memories!

THIS girl! OH ME! I told her to smile so I could take her picture before she left for school this morning and she threw her hand up in a peace sign! I asked her what she was doing....and she said...'taking a picture like Sissy!' :) oh me!! :)
The Snow Princess! She would not let go of my hand...and Daddy's hand! She had to have both of our hands! She loved it when we went fast! She really wouldnt try it by herself but said that when she is older that she is going to skate around all by herself! :)
Daddy had a lot of fun skating! He did pretty good for an 'old guy!' :)
The family picture! :) We loved having a special day spent with just Alexis! It was a great day!
This girl is NO drama at all! :) She wanted to pose like this in front of the bear at Bass Pro Shop! :) We enjoyed shopping, looking at all the animals and fish and eating fudge while we were there!
The Pilgrim lady! She made this cute hat at school and wanted to wear it to Nan's house!
Alexis changed her dolls clothes before we left our house so she wanted me to take her picture with her doll! :)
OHHH....these two crazy silly girls!
Pawpaw read the Pilgrim girl a Christmas book! She kept asking him when Rudolph was going to be in the story! ha!

Meet Tickles, Santa and Ella Jingle!

We have hit Thanksgiving break with a BANG!

We are out all week and are just SO glad!!

We had a full family fun day yesterday filled with shopping, lunch, seeing Santa, jumping at The Factory, Auburn football, riding bikes, playing outside, and playing with....

Tickles!

Meet Tickles! She has been with us for over a week and I think it is officially safe to say, she is now our 'porch kitty' as Tyler calls her!

She is the sweetest little thing and so we are glad she is hanging around!

I have put her information on our neighborhood's Facebook page and asked around about her with no luck and she seems to not want to leave our back porch anyways......so...

we have named her, Tyler made her a little house, gave her food and flea treatments....

and made her ours!  :) :)

Also, the girls talked to Santa yesterday and told them all what they wanted so we have conquered that department and I am happy to say...finished with that part too!!

Auburn won!....we had a beautiful weathered Church day today followed by China Luck with Nan and Brandi, so..... so far so great to our Thanksgiving break! :)

Santa! I would say that their picture this year is soooooo cute!!
I changed the girls clothes in the Mall's bathroom after we ate lunch and then headed to their favorite place! The Factory! They jumped off a lot of energy which is always great for me! :)
We came home to an Auburn win...and a beautiful afternoon to play with Tickles and ride bikes! She is soooo sweet! She is a 'Manx' cat meaning she doesnt have a tail. Lily asked who cut her tail off...so we had to explain it to her on what type of cat she is! :)
She just loves getting love from the girls!
AND...since the girls talked to Santa officially!........... Ella Jingle came!! WHOOO HOO! :) She told them to be nice and no fighting! :)
My littlest turkey after Church!!
Yep, she came up with this pose all by herself! haha!
Giving Tickles her flea pills and new collar! :)

End of the cheer season Awards Ceremony!

Tonight was nothing but honoring the sweet C-Team and the end of their great season!

We have had a great season and it has been such an honor helping watch the girls grow!

I got emotional while I began speaking about them because all...and I mean ALL of their sweet faces were looking over at me....all down the line..and it just hit me that they are still 'babies' in so many ways, yet in the blink of an eye, they are all going to be grown up!

Whew, it took me a minute to get my voice back. :)

Love this sweet group of girls!
She is so proud of her awards! Checking them out!
Yep, still checking them out! :)
So proud of her! Not only did she get her 2nd place medal from the Cheer Competition, her Participation certificate and Trophy, she received the 'Best Flyer' award for how hard she has worked and how well she has done being an awesome flyer!

I could just imagine what all would be falling around the Mall if they were faster!} :) :)
SO fun watching them ride these! They loved it!
Just cruising along!!

We gave it a whirl...and now we are done!

Today marked the last game of our football season.

We didnt win...but the team played hard and the girls cheered hard!

We have had a low key but busy weekend so far and it is only Saturday night!

Gran and Ben took the girls to eat dinner and to meet Santa at the Oxford Mall!

Santa came to town last night for the Holiday season and the girls enjoyed seeing him come in on the train and telling him what they wanted. Even though.....Gran said that once they made it to see him, they both froze. Lily only told him one thing she wanted and Alexis froze and told him two things she wanted. Soooo, right now it is going to be a very...very...VERY small Christmas! :)

This morning we had the championship game in Piedmont against Cherokee County. They beat us by a touchdown right at the end! :(

We headed to the land in Piedmont and the girls enjoyed checking on the cows after the game. We shot some before heading home and doing fun ole laundry and getting started on decorating for Christmas!

Yes, I decided to go ahead and start...I got the fever! It is pretty sad that I worked the rest of the afternoon and got a lot of decorations done, but it didnt consist of any actual trees up. I dont know if that is a good thing or bad thing that I have that much decorations! :) :) :)

Now we are curled up watching movies and football {sad Auburn lost to Georgia today} after enjoying Daddy's famous Chili and having 'snowball fights' with our fun 'snowballs' that LaLa got us last year!

Tomorrow we have Church and then I have to usher my first basketball game of the season tomorrow afternoon! I need another weekend.....to do nothing! :)

This little chick had fun eating, going to Bath and Body Works and talking to Santa!
Yes, this girl had a bag full of Bath and Body too
Last time to stretch before the game started! Next year a bunch of these girls will be moving up to the B-Team! Growing up way too fast!
Last run through for the season!
Last pyramid for the season. These girls have done awesome this year stunting with each other!
The girls got so excited to do shoulder sits during the game! :)
Alexis is up on top somewhere! :)
Great group of girls! I have really enjoyed coaching them this season and Im sad that the season is over!

All I want for Christmas......

Is my two front teeth!!

Yep, Alexis lost her 1st top tooth today! Officially a 'snaggle tooth' :)

It was that time of year when the girls and I headed to the fun ole dentist! {not something Im sure they looked forward to on the day off from school!}

Today is Veteran's Day and because of that, no school today. {sad but true, I still had to work!}

So, Nan and Pawpaw asked to keep the girls so Alexis and Lily had a fun day with them!

They went and saw the new Charlie Brown movie and loved it! They also had fun shopping and playing dress up at their house!

So, where does the 'fun' dentist appointment fit in?

This afternoon Nan and Pawpaw met me and it was now time for the dreaded appointments! :)

I asked the hygienist to come over and talk with me for a minute because I just had to tell her about Alexis' front teeth.

They both were SUPER loose!

Alexis  knew that they were ready to be out but would refuse....and refuse for me to touch them.

So, I had to work my magic and get the dentist on my side! :) {Im good like that!} :)

So, I told the hygienist that if Dr. Lafayette could pull both of her front teeth that I would be soooo thankful!! :) :) She said she would have him look at them!

So, about 10 minutes later she comes walking out to me and says...'It is done!'

I was surprised!

She said that it took her a second to pull her front tooth because it was that loose. She said the other front tooth has about a week left and it will be ready to pull to so she didnt pull that one!

I asked her if Alexis cried or anything and she said nope! She didnt even need me to be back there with her!

I hate pulling teeth.............so I am sooooo glad that I didnt have to do it and that she was fine with having it done there and didnt even cry!!

So, for Christmas.....

she will be singing......  'All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!' :) :)

Lily had a great check-up and did a great job while she got her teeth cleaned!!
 The LAST official picture of Alexis with all of her front teeth! : ) : ) {Insert tears here...she is growing up toooo fast!}
She was so happy that they gave her this cute pink tooth holder to put her tooth in! She is super excited about the tooth fairy coming tonight! :)   Lily cracked me up because she thought her teeth were out too because Alexis' was! haha!!
