Soccer....and a birthday trail ride and cheer!

Today was a FULL day!

Its funny...how my off days turn into busier days than my work days!

But....fun things are done and memories are made so that counts more!

Lily had her 1st day of soccer camp!

Alexis had 'big' Lily's birthday party too!

So, they had a blast...and I enjoyed being a taxi! :)

Lily was SO excited about camp! I mean SO! She said she had the best time today when I picked her up!
My little soccer star! She went from soccer to moving on to Cheer camp tonight! It is a busy week for this girl...but let me tell you....she has the energy for it!
AND...throw back to her 1st soccer year....circa 2017! Funny...the uniform still fits her! {Only because it was way tooo big when she first had to wear it!} :)
They were separating into groups before I left and noticed Lily....told them she was 8 because she wanted to be with the 'big kids' and not the 'babies!' OH me, I let her go on and didnt change it because she can hang with them! She said she LOVED it when she got home!
We love 'big' Lily! Cant believe she is 13!!!
All the girls READY to hit the trail!
A beautiful day for a ride!
Love all these girls who are just growing up!
Of course...they took 1,000 pictures! BUT...if any parents ask for a picture...you would think we are killing them! :)
Love!
HAPPY birthday Lily! They did a scavenger hunt while riding and so they had to do silly things like spell out Lily's name and scream...'Lily is a teenager!' baha! They had a blast!
And...then on to Cheer Camp! Lily was SUPER excited to be re-united with her friends! So much so....that when I picked her up...the Coach came over and told me she was chatty Kathy the entire time and got in trouble. OH me...this girl! :)
We packed a TON into a Monday! Capped it off with these sweet faces! It was really...really weird to not help or anything with cheer at camp. I can say...it was nice to get and leave when the rest of the parents did...and tomorrow us Mom's are having a Mom's only dinner so I am pumped that I get to attend because if it were year's past....I would have been at practice! Now, dont get me wrong...I loved coaching....but whoop, whoop!!....I get to be 'normal' this year! ha! :)

Baby youre a firework!

We headed off to our favorite, again, for the 4th and we had the best time even though the weather didnt want to cooperate with us.

This trip was one of the 1st that we have been down and it stormed pretty much the entire time. We still did fun things, still soaked up the sun, swam, etc so it didnt stop us!

The birthday girl got a breakfast birthday treat before we headed to Auburn! Why cant she have a treat even if its the next day after her actual bday! Its her birthday week!
We hit the pool as soon as we got there! Pawpaw and Lily had fun playing with each other while we were there!
After a full day of swimming...and shopping for Lex, Nan and Brandi...we all got cleaned up and headed to Outback for dinner and a little more shopping before heading back and crashing!
4th of July baby! We all sported our 'red, white and blue'....or our own version of it!
And...of course, cant go without taking a picture of the hoola hooping Queen! Lily is a PRO at it! Lex is too...however, since she is now 11...she was put in the '11 to 21' year old range. I think...that was intimidating for her so she didnt do it this time. Maybe next though! BUT...Lily...blew everyone else out of the water! She is just SO good!
We had a rain delay due to lightening so we got dressed in our red, white and blue and headed to eat and then to get ready and see the fireworks!
Jim N Nicks for the win! YUM! Us decked out in our 4th of July attire!
We always LOVE the festivities in Auburn on the 4th! We love th live music and bouncy houses....and ice cream and OF course, the fireworks!
100% ALL American in this picture! Blue jean overalls, red, white and blue...pig tails and braids! Perfection!
Daddy and Lily getting alllll the glow sticks ready!
Glowing!
We were glowing thanks to Daddy and Lily too!
We had the best view! We tried a new spot....and for SURE will have to remember it for next year!
The grand finale!
Our last full day! Chilling under the cabana eating our lunch! Ahhh...relaxing!
We had some more storms so we cleaned up and relaxed in the room before heading to dinner....AND then bowling! Whoo hoo! AND...guess who won!?!?! ME! :) :)
We had a great trip! We got up this morning and had breakfast, with everyone, before heading home to laundry and unpacking!

Her BIG day!

Today is Alexis' BIG day!

As today....she is 11!

She had a great day today and I would say, a great birthday day!

She woke up and at exactly 7:20am, she was an eleven year old! {This picture was right around that time!} :) :)
BIG 11! {She THEN asked...look what it will look like when I am 20...as she held up a 2 and a 0! Yeah....I told her to put that down as I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that she is 11!}
She had a great and fun day swimming with her friends and then we all headed to Baja for her celebration! She LOVES eating Mexican for her birthday...and being sang to! :)
Us with the birthday girl!
Opening her gifts!
The crew!
Sweet picture with Nannie! Nannie gave Lex her 1st necklace she wore to her Prom! Alexis loves it!
Then....singing.....and cake...and the obligatory cool whip on the face time!
:) :)
HAPPY birthday to YOU! We all love YOU very....very...very much! Here's to another amazing year of watching you grow and become an even more of a beautiful lady!

A date with Daddy!

So, Lex and Daddy had a special date today!

Alexis was so excited! Her Daddy picked her up and they took off to Oxford and spent the afternoon picking out her birthday gift, having dinner and yogurt dessert to cap it all off!

Lily and I...well, we had Wal-Mart and McDonalds {her choice!} :) before heading home to do laundry, cleaning out the litter box and then packing for Auburn! {we were very eventful!} :)

Tyler sent me a couple of pictures! Yep, I had McDonalds....remember! :)
He should have known...Lex has expensive taste, so of course she chose LongHorn!
AND...look at the bowl overflowing! WOW! :) Glad they had a great afternoon together!

Weekend recap with our Youth girl!

We had a pretty low-key weekend!

It was a beautiful weekend, except for Saturday afternoon so we loaded up and had a spur of the moment idea to head to the REC Center and we enjoyed rock climbing and the pool!

The girls loooove this every time we go!

We came home and spent the rest of the afternoon curled up and watching movies.

Today, we had Church, lunch and then sweet Jackson's 6th birthday pool party! Of course, the girls were SUPER excited to spend the afternoon at the pool with their friends!

Alexis has become a pro at rock climbing. She loves it and is so good at it!
Lily is like a little monkey going up! I love watching her!
These two both did the wall where you are not hooked in and made it to the top. They were SO proud of themselves!
Daddy even gave it a try! He is getting good at it too!
AND....today...these two had their 1st day in YOUTH! Yes, she is just growing up! She said she LOVED it when we were leaving! Love that they have each other as they transition! They are going to love it!
A perfection of an afternoon at the pool! My two are out there somewhere! ha!
OHHHHHH....I LOVE these two! They were sitting over there just in deep conversation as they were eating together so I just HAD to take a picture! OH, I just love this little cutie pie boy and....my little!
Lily enjoyed swimming with Bennett and Thompson while Lex enjoyed swimming with Addie, and SP. They had the best time! I didnt get any pictures of them swimming as I couldnt keep up with them. I didnt get a picture of them with the birthday boy either....but I got them as they were still {for like 5 minutes} while they woofed their food down to get back to swimming! :)

The Drive in!

I cant believe we havent gotten the girls to a drive in until now...

as it has been years since Tyler and I have been.

In fact, we informed the girls that {probably, from what we can remember} the last time we both went to the drive in was a date Tyler took me on!

Both girls said gross! {Still not understanding why it was 'gross' that he told them that he took me on a date to one!}

So, we loaded up and headed to Centre and ate at Tony's Steakhouse first and it was our 1st time there too! It was SO good and I loved the atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

Then, we hit the drive in!

The girls just could not get over how big the screen was! They were amazed!

We had the best time with Mobbs and her family!

It was a great night and of course, seeing any Toy Story movie is a win! We all loved it!

Before we had our 1st drive in night, the girls enjoyed having a 'fun' day with Nan! They had lunch and did some shopping before heading back home. Lily wrote Nan a note asking her if she 'would think about it' to let them spend the day with her! So, they had a great day with a bonus of lunch with Pawpaw and Brandi!

My girls love hanging out with Allie! We all enjoyed meeting the 3 'little' girls. They have a unique story and they are just SO precious! Loved getting to know them and they stole my heart!
The 3 amigos!
My girls were PUMPED that we hit up Dollar Tree and they grabbed all kinds of fun treats for the movie! I think that was one of the biggest highlights for them that they could pick out and bring it all. And, for the record, Dollar Tree {big bag} popcorn was delicious!
Movie time! Such a cute movie! Loved looking up and seeing all the stars! It was a beautiful night! Perfection!
We got home at 10:00pm, however, Lily was out like a light before we even got out on the main road! She made it through the movie, but thats it! :)
