All things cheer!

 Meanwhile at home Lex was all things cheer and DD!

She had dress up night each night of cheer practice so here are some of her fun!

One night they had holiday attire!

Color Wars day! ALLL Blue Team for the win! They also had twin day and white lies t-shirt day fun too!

They ended the last week before camp with a huge pool party! So fun! The Varsity!

 Despite Lex and Tyler not being able to be with us, Lily, Gran, Ben and I still made the most of our trip and fought the wind and some storms to make it a good one anyways!

We kept it low key, did some shopping, hit the pool alllll day, ate good food and just enjoyed being there!

Apparently I didnt take many pictures....but when I did...I took a lot of the same thing! ha!

See their legs in the picture above?! That is all I saw most of the time because they swam and swam and then did handstands and more!

Popsicle time is always the best! Emilyn and Annalese are sisters and Lily had the best time with them!

She begged for this place! She loved it last year when we came for the first time! She got the same thing and loved it!

Another day...another pool full of friends!

Annalese and Lily are the same age...and the instantly became friends. They were SHOCKED and SUPER excited that they both came out with the same bathing suit on one morning!

Lily and I took a walk every morning together! It was really special!

It was just so relaxing!

We wrote our names and did our hand prints and footprints! She is officially bigger than me!

Lex's cheer little sister!

 All last week Alexis brought little gifts as a secret to her little and then yesterday was the big reveal night where her little found out who she is!

We love Riley and her family so when Alexis was able to get her...she was so excited!

The 'bigs' wrote song lyrics of their favorite song and the 'littles' had to match it to find out who they have. It was a cute idea! It is going to be a great season and I am excited to watch!

Lex's weekend and her first DD Community service!

 Lex had her first DD Community service event and she had fun!

She worked the Oxford Hall of Fame!

While we are beaching it, she is enjoying staying with Nan and Pawpaw! She looked so cute and was ready to work!

His last day and its Father's day!

 Sunday we soaked up the day also though I did not get pictures but we celebrated Father's day and enjoyed Okala hibachi dinner and then OF course we had to have Tyler get some yogurt just in case he had to leave the next morning.

He was super glad we did...since he had to leave!

I think he had a pretty great Father's day!

We made the most of the beach while he was here!

 Well....

we made the most of our beach trip while Tyler was able to be with us! Final comps called and said he needed to get back home and write...............write............and more write!

So....he is ALMOST done....

and we were prepared that he may have to leave so we made the most of the time while he was at the beach!

It has been really rainy and overcast so far but we have made the most of it by shopping, meeting Aunt Pam and eating, and our annual trip to Destin!

Yeah...she was bummed we didnt let her bring a friend but due to not knowing if Tyler was able to stay and everything being in the air...we said not this time. She thought she wouldnt meet any friends.

I knew she would.

Surfing the waves!

We made the most of the short time with Daddy so we did our annual beach movie night. Lily picked Elemental. Yeah.....I wasnt really a fan....and well...though Daddy was soaking up being at the beach while able, he had a good nap... :) Lily loved it...and so did Gran.

We got all the goodies...and ready to watch the movie....or Tyler...take a nap! :)

A little life lately!

 We have been low key and soaking up the Summer!

Lily finished VBS last night and had a blast with her friends! It called for late nights but it was so worth it!

Alexis had her DD pool practice and devotional night so she is loving all of that too!

Cousins and VBS!

 The rest of our weekend consisted of popping over to B'ham to do some much needed shopping for ALL the things DD and Summer before having dinner with Meg and Mal!

OH it was good for my heart!

I just love them and it was so good to just sit and chat and enjoy dinner and holding two sweet babies!

We had the best time and got our 'Birmingham' fix taken care of! :)

Maggie! I just have no words! She is the absolute sweetest! She was just so happy and talked to us and clapped her hands (that is what she was doing in the picture!) She loved Lily holding her and would lay her sweet little head against Lily's chest. It was adorable!

And Miles..........OH my has he grown since we first met him! Ahh...time just flies way too fast! We loved our dinner guests with us for sure! 

After Church we met Nan, Pawpaw, and Brandi for Father's day lunch since we will be out of town. We havent eaten at The Classic in awhile and it was delicious! 

And then....last night kicked off VBS at our Church for the week! Lily is pumped, she has the JSU REC Center camp again this week and then VBS all week. She is going to be one worn out girl...but she wont care one bit! Then next............BEACH! We.are.ready. :)

A friend weekend-they actually slept!

 Both girls claim they havent gotten to see their friends allll Summer, though Summer has just really started and they have.

SO...

to let them 'have friend time'...............and to get it out of the way so hopefully the rest of the Summer I can say, 'see you had spend the night company'............ both girls had friends over Friday night!

They were all actually really good and I love them all like my own so it was fine and they all had the best time!

I LOVE my view from my window. My most favorite thing! I love the deck, the yard, the patio, the lights, the view of the trampoline and swings....all of it! I LOVE seeing my girls out there jumping and doing who knows what just laughing and playing! I love seeing them with their friends too! Can you spot three girls? P is in the hot tub and then Lauren and Lily are jumping with the sprinkler on. They were all bouncing from one spot to the other just having so much fun together and enjoying a great Summer night!

They wore themselves out being outside so they came in and showered and I checked in on them doing this...having a 'spa treatment!' Not sure what all concoctions they had but they were having fun so I let them be! They curled up and started a movie about 10:00pm and two of the three fell asleep so the other one...........said she was going to bed! ha! I wont name names but Lily was actually the one that didnt fall asleep first!

These two cranked up the Taylor Swift album on the Alexa and painted ALLLLL night! It was midnight and they were still singing and talking and laughing and painting. They were in this spot all night just making memories! I had them cut the Alexa down and I just went to bed! 

Tyler was a trooper, poor guy he is working on his papers for his Finance class so he was in the basement so he didnt have to hear the Taylor Swift concert in the kitchen. :)

Change is hard, though it is a part of life

 Lily has had the biggest change but all of us got news that we didnt think we would hear.

Change can be sad. Change can be hard. Change can be good and then it can also be bad, however, change is needed and it helps you grow so we will embrace the new changes and hold the memories in our heart and not say goodbye, but see you soon!

The Messer's told us the news and we are SO excited for them but SO sad that they are moving to Texas! Emily will become a President of an University out there so we wont get to see them as much as we have but we will still get to visit, do trips with them and see them when they come home!

The best of little friends! I love the bond that my girls have with the Messer girls! They are like sisters! They play so well together and just constantly laugh and just have fun together!

Look at them now. We are sad to not have them closer but we will still be a part of their lives and continue to make memories together!

This group. We have become so close and travel buddies! It may look different but we will make it happen and work as best we can! 

And, the Fritts are moving too! Though they wont be far and the girls will still get to hang out with them, it will be different with them no longer in our neighborhood or the girls seeing them at school. They are moving to White Plains for a new adventure there! Lily has taken both of the news harder than the rest of us because Madelyn, Camille, and Callie are her best friends and have been the longest too but she is a trooper and knows that it will all be fine and she'll still get to see them too!

Friends since they were babies! Though Lily is sad she wont be in her class anymore, they wont be far away so they will still be able to see each other unlike the Messer's that we wont as much.

Life lately in the Summer

 Lily and Alexis are still living their best lives with all things Summer which still includes all the things and now Summer REC Camp for Lily and Cheer workouts and practice for Lex!

Time with friends are still in the mix and all the birthdays too!

Lily has been pet sitting Rosie, the fish, and she has been loving it so much that she is now begging for a fish!

Life lately for Lily!

 Lily has also been living her best life since Summer started also!

Sleeping in, hanging at home, playing with friends, riding bikes, swimming, spending the night, birthday parties, and the list goes on!

These two had so much fun 'hanging out' and then me taking them shopping and to get a 'fun' drink from the new place!
