Wednesday is our one day of the week lately where we can just come home and do nothing! We dont have any practices, etc! This is what Alexis and Aubie decided to do! Sooo sweet!

SUPER busy day today!! We had ballet then straight to Cheer pictures and practice! Look at the cheerleaders! So cute!!

It is FRIDAY!! And, the first Friday of football season!! I LOVE wearing my orange and blue on Fridays to work! {Now that I work at JSU, I cant so much wear things that say Auburn, but I sure can fit orange and blue some where in my wardrobe!} :) :)
AND....notice my left hand!! FINALLY today I got to wear my wedding rings again! I was stung Sunday by a wasp and for the whole week my hand and fingers were so swollen that my rings would not fit! :(  But, they fit Friday!!

I helped in Lily's class today at Church and Alexis wanted to come in and be my helper! She read them a story! They all listened so good as she read!

It's here! It's that time!

FOOTBALL is here!.....AUBURN football is HERE! Whoo hoo!!

Though it still feels like I should be at the pool or beach because it still should be Summer, Fall is here and FOOTBALL has started!

I LOVE football season! The feeling, the food, the spirit, the excitement, etc....is just something that I just LOVE! :)

I sometimes think that I am about as bad as guys when it comes to me getting into the game and rooting and yelling! :) I dont care though, I love it! haha!

WAR EAGLE!! Lets do this! So far, first game in the bag and we are on our way!!!

We have had a great weekend so far and we still have Monday too because it is Labor Day!! {YAYY!!} Yesterday {Friday night} we went to the first JSU Soccer game of the season. They lost 3-2 but it was an exciting game at least because Alexis was a 'ball girl' for them! Yep, she got to stand on the sidelines and help give the ball to the girls! {And chase stray balls!} She LOVED it for about the first 45 minutes!.................then she was over it! She stayed in her spot though unlike Carli who wanted to leave her spot and kept sitting on the hill! :) Alexis did a couple little hand claps and dance moves to occupy her time while the game was going on! She was cracking me up! :)

Today we did our usual Saturday groove of Jack's for breakfast...hitting a couple yard sales and then grocery shopping! Tomorrow we have Church and then who knows what we may do on Monday since we have no school or work! :) :)

Friday Alexis came home from school with a 'Soar' card!! I am sooooooooo proud of her!! A 'Soar' card is a card that any teacher can give a student if they see the student doing some 'above and beyond' what they should be doing! Alexis was walking and had her finger over her mouth being quiet when others were yelling she said is the reason she got her first card of her 1st grade school year! :)

Had to take a picture before heading in to eat some yummy breakfast!! Alexis always HAS to have her usual....Pancakes {with NO butter Mommy!} and Lily HAS to have her biscuit {with 'Strawberry Shelly' Mommy!} {Strawberry jelly!!}

Cutest little Auburn buggy pusher cheerleader!! She refused to let anyone help her push because she is 'big' she said!

How COOL is this! Ever since Coke started this very cleaver promotional tool this Summer, I have been trying and trying to find my name..not to mention Tyler's too without any success!...until TODAY!..I see mine and Tyler's! :) :)   {And no, they were not on the shelf beside each other!...I did that!} :)

Aubie's first Auburn game!!! He did NOT want to sit still for a picture!! He for sure fits in as my 'child' because I cant get my girls to sit still either! :)

We had a lot to get at the store because today FOOTBALL started! I had to get my 'football' food! I have been waiting for FOOTBALL food for awhile! OH yum! :) {Now dont get me wrong!!...I can make 7 layer dip anytime!....but I just cant, that should be a crime!!...it is only for football season!} :)  :)

OH yeah! One of my favorite things we do! A 'tradition' we have started of putting the TV out on the deck and enjoying the game! We had Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi over for the 1st game and to cook out! It was a too hot today to watch it outside....on top of it started storming! :(   But, we enjoyed watching Auburn pound Arkansas inside!!

We dont let rain chances stop us from playing our new corn hole game!! The girls LOVE playing corn hole!!

C~Team picture day!!

Whew...it was hot and crowded and very sunny, but we all made it through pictures!

Talk about a busy busy busy day!! From school and work to ballet to pictures to cheer practice! Whew!!....

And I had two bags in the car already! This was just for ONE day in my life! :) {Talk about the nickname 'bag lady!!'} :) :)

Some days....it is just nice to take your shoes off and go to bed!  That was the highlight of this day! Boy, it was just a long rough day! {Sometimes we all have those!!}

Wednesday folder checking! I love to see what all is inside Alexis' Wednesday folder! Wednesday folder is the day that the teachers send home previous work,etc. This was sweet that Alexis did! I love her picture of us sitting at the dinner table {complete with our chandelier we have over the table! She says she loves the pretty light!} :)

Whew, thank goodness for Friday! Loved watching the girls play the car game! {Until they realized it was broken!} :)

Girls day! We went to Church and then I asked the girls where they would like to go for lunch!? Of course they picked their MOST favorite place! Love having girl time with them!

Full day o' fun!

Today we decided to venture into new territory and take the girls on a canoe trip down Terrapin creek in Piedmont! Tyler has been wanting to do this for a while but today finally came to where we could fit it in to do!

We loaded up and were out the door this morning at 6:45am!! We fueled up at Jacks and then headed to the creek! The girls were SOO excited about riding in the 'boat!' :)

Once we got everything unloaded and us loaded in, we took off on our fun adventure! The girls kept saying that they were looking for mountain lions, alligators, snakes, monkeys, and giraffes! {Needless to say, all we saw were some REALLY BIG spiders on the trees!} :) But....it was fun pretending that we 'thought' we saw something! :) :)

Cruising down the creek was ROUGH today! The water was SO low that it was really hard to paddle! We got stuck pretty much every time we came across a rock.............which was every 5 seconds! :)

Daddy had to get out a WHOLE lot and get us unstuck! haha! He for sure got a workout today! I know he is tired {just at looking at him right now as I type this!} :) Now, I had to get us unstuck some too! When it got really bad, I had to get out and tug too! At one point Tyler and I switched and I sat in the back thinking that would help....and yeah, not so much! So, for it to be the girls first time to canoe, I feel bad because it wasnt a great experience..........but we still had fun and for sure made some memories! And...not to mention, we will try again when the water is higher!! :) :)

After our canoeing experience we headed home for nice warm baths followed by nice afternoon naps!! {That were much needed!!}

Once we 'regrouped' we headed to one of our favorite resturants, Isshin and enjoyed Japanese!

After dinner it was Alexis' shining moment!! She sang the Star Spangled Banner on the JSU football field during Spirit on the Mountain! She did a great job with her school choir!

We have had a great...FULL day and now, we will for sure all sleep well tonight! :)

It's Saturday!!! We have had a busy weekend too! We enjoyed the last day of Piedmont pool being open and then with this crazy crew enjoying Effinas! Yum!

Too funny! When we got home from Church, they thought Aubie wanted to sing The Little Mermaid song with them! :)

My little ballerinas!!

The time has come! Time that my baby is old enough to take dance too! Both girls are officially ballerinas and it just makes me smile SO big!!

Lily Grace Law is probably BY FAR the most excited happy ballerina there is!!

When Alexis started ballet, she had just turned 3. She turned 3 in July and started class in August. She was SOO excited about starting ballet and talked and talked about it! Well, the first two classes, she bawled her eyes out and refused to participate during class! She sat on the side and watched both times. I seriously was thinking I had wasted my money and that she just wasnt going to do it. {Which totally shocked me and somewhat upset me because Alexis was the MOST bubbly outgoing happy little girl who was never shy or timid about doing anything!} {I was literally speechless about why she was being this way toward something that she was so excited about doing because she hadnt been like that about anything else!}  Well, come the third dance class {right when I was going to give it my last shot} she walked in that class and from that class on.........you would have never known she hesitated at the beginning! :) She did a complete turn around!!! She absolutely LOVES dance now and I can not get her to stop dancing................. and singing!! :) :)

Well.............now it is that time for Lily! {Where has the time gone!!??}Lily is my timid and hesitate child. That has just been her little personality from day one. She will cut up and act silly around us but once she is out in a crowd she sometimes just becomes really shy. Sooooo......when I told Lily that she is now old enough to be a ballerina...... she was SOOOOOOOOOO excited! She tells everyone...and I mean everyone that she is a ballerina! She has just been sooo excited about starting.

So, today was the big day!! Both girls just super excited about it! As it was time for Lily to go into her class, she just couldnt contain her excitement! I wish everyone could have seen her face and how excited she was! She was doing little dance moves while we were waiting and constantly asking when class was going to start!!

So, when that time came for her to go in. I held my breath and said a silent prayer that she wouldnt clam up and not want to go in. Well.................as soon as that door opened, she didnt look back!

She LOVED it! My timid one didnt have a problem AT ALL!

When she walked out of the room when class was over, the girls have to walk on their toes with their arms in the air! It was the MOST precious thing I have ever seen as I watched Lily walk out the door with the biggest, most happy smile on her face! It was priceless!!!

I am so glad that they love dancing because I can not wait to see them up on stage when they are older dancing routines together and just blowing everyone away! ;)
