OH...
Tis the season...
for FOOTBALL!
I love football season and last night was a perfection of a way to kick it off! We enjoyed Baja for dinner before heading to the game! Though, JHS didnt win against the biggest rival, Alexandria...it was still a great game!
NOW...today! AUBURN! Whoooop whoop!
Sydney came with us to eat and to the game! Lex loved having her with us! Lily was not feeling well so she sat by us and Daddy and her left after half time. She was excited to go to the game but bummed she couldnt be with her friends!
Lex, Savannah, Lauren and Sydney!
OH the lights! OH, the atmosphere! LOVE! Our band did awesome during half-time! Love the theme and their enthusiasm!

A little of this and that!
Thought I would do a little of this and that post as we have been doing a lot of this and that lately!
Lily is home today sick. School germs have already caught up with her and they have just started! She tested negative for strep but they think it may be it, just too early, so they gave her all the meds and now she is home resting!
Prior to being sick, I have received these sweet pictures of her in action!
Also, meet Knox. OH....Lily likes him a whoooole lot {she says!} He is so sweet and she just has the biggest crush on him! :)
This day they were working on there spelling words. Sweet girl! She loves school!
Gina turned 50! My sweet co-worker turned 50, Tuesday, so we celebrated her big time with pot luck lunch and all! Most of us dressed in black to mourn her loosing her 40's too! :)

She ran!
I have been slacking this month with posting! It has been a crazy busy month and I am just trying to keep up!
Lily had her GLOW run this past Friday and she did the best in her class! She ran 36 laps!!
What what!! She is so fast and was just awesome!
Some sweet friends sent me pictures so I have to share!
Alexis did it also....but she never told me how many laps she did! Knowing her...it was a few as possible! :)
Mrs. Nelson is SO awesome! She let them all paint their faces and they were SO excited to be one of the only few classes that got to! OH we love her! {Sidenote, Lily's hair looks full blonde in this picture! She was excited to point that out to me! She wants to be blonde like me :) :)}
3 besties!
Caroline and Lilybug!
The whole gym was in the dark and the course was lit with glow sticks and lights and it was SO much fun {per Lily!} :)
She had a blast! Love how this is going to be a new tradition to support exercise and health! Lily loved it...not so much sure Alexis did! :)

A full week with a Spirit on the Mountain!
We have had a full week this week and BOY, Im tired!
This is the 1st week of me back working 5 days and WHEW, throwing that day back in makes a difference! I have felt like this one week has been 3 in total! But, Im thankful! It has been a great week and I love the excitement on campus and seeing old and new, student, faces! It is exciting!
LOOK at ALLLL these faces! Yep, 120 new babies started this week with me! OH, yeah...I have to say...its intimidating but we are all in it together! ha! :) Add this number to the already around 400 that we already have....and yeah, we have a buuuunch of students!
Spirit on Mountain Street this afternoon! Love all the red, white and blue! See Lex back there!
Such a great turnout of kiddos singing the National Anthem!
Lily bug!
Singing her little heart out in her red, white and blue!
Friend number 1!
Friend....2 and 3!
Friend 1! :)
Cocky counts triple! :)
Friend 4 and 5!
Friend 2 and 3!
Friend 4 and 5!
Friend 6,7,8,9,10!
Friend 11!
The most important part...to the girls...were finding as many of their friends as possible! :)
There were a ton of vendors....and people and a great atmosphere!
The bottom fell out right when we got home but, thankfully, it cleared up and Scotty McCreery was able to do his concert! We could hear it out on our back deck! Such a nice night!

A big Saturday!
So we have been waiting for this Saturday for a while now!
Lily had a little scrimmage game and to say it was HOT...oh it was HOT! It was at 9:00am and didnt last long...but I think I sweat about 1000000 gallons! Whew! The C-Team looked really good and the cheerleaders looked even better! ha!
I cant wait for their actual season to begin in a couple of weeks!
Then, last night Tyler and I had a long...very overdue date night to attend the St. Jude Dream Makers Gala at Classic on Noble.
The Messers picked us up and we enjoyed a wonderful night of chatting with tons of friends, a yummy dinner and supporting such a great cause and one of my favorite families!
It was such a great night and I have to say..it has been awhile since Tyler and I 'cleaned' up and if I do say so myself....we did..pretty well! :)
This is just some of the group! They have 20 of them! :) They were all ready to do a little bit of cheering!
Three amigos!....and Molly! :)
My little cheerleader! She loves cheering!
We clean up well!
My very handsome date!
Photo op when we got there! They had it decorated so nice and it felt like we were on a red carpet!
We love the Messers and had such a great night with them!
Love these two also!
And love these too!
And...this little man! He spoke so well in front of everyone and he truly is a hero! OH, he has my heart! Sweet Thompson!
They had this as a big print when we walked in! Look at baby Thompson when he was 1st diagnosed. Now...look at him shine! Melts my heart!
And....the girls have been dying to have Miss Bailee come over! To say they were thrilled is a huge understatement! They had the best time with her! They both said they have always wanted a 'baby-sitter!'....and they had the best one!
We all had a big and fun Saturday!
And then today, another day when there is a house full of girls! I never know who is popping by...who is leaving and who is returning! This group ended up in our backyard so they took a break, from playing, to enjoy some watermelon! I just love our neighborhood and love that my girls has a great group of little friends to grow up playing with!

1st week down!
We made it through the 1st full week of school and EVERYTHING starting back!
Dance classes, Wednesday night Church, gymnastics, cheer practice, homework, tests, signing 10,0000000 school documents, and so on and soooo on!
BOY, we were all dragging this morning...
but we made it out the door and survived the week!
It has been a great week back into the groove and the girls have loved school so far! :)
So, after cheer practice, Monday, Lily and I took a bike ride! She has LOVED the fact that she can ride so well and just loves to ride through the neighborhood!
We stopped at Collins house....because she wanted to ride with us....well....this last ALL OF 2 minutes before she was off her bike and wanted Lily to play with her! ha!
See...already off! I had just snapped the picture above!
Collins had almost every sport out for them to play!
So, I dont even have any '1st week of school pictures' but allll the biking pictures from this week!
So, while Lily was a cheer practice, last night, Lex and I took off to the trial from our house. I love the fact that we can ride from our house over to the trial! It was such a relaxing and peaceful ride with just her and I....and chatting and me learning about her day. It was good for my heart to have that alone time with her! It was a wonderful afternoon!

Wordless on a Thursday!
This has been on almost every one of my friend's Facebook posts so I just have to laugh!
THANK GOODNESS for bus rides in the mornings! It is just our neighborhood kids...my girls are thrilled to be with their friends and I dont have to sit for 3 hours in the car line!
But one thing is for sure....getting Alexis Kayte out of bed in the mornings..without threatening that if she doesnt start moving faster, she wont make it to school on the bus..sums this up! ha! :)

3 things!
Time has slipped away with me so it has been awhile since I have done a 3 things post!
Alexis!
1. She is now known as an Elementary Senior! Yep....she is in her 'Senior' year of Elementary school and BOY she is soaking that up! It cracks me up...it's like when she talks about school and all that comes with it, in some portion of the conversation, this title is brought up! She is loving school, loving the fact that she has a bell system now with schedule changing and LOVING the fact that she is going to be in high school next year!
2. She is working, very hard and almost got her back handspring! She has try-outs in March for Junior High {say WHAT?!?!?!} so she has been working hard to get it before! I have been super impressed with her and how hard she has been working without any complaints or issues. Her work ethic is really shining during this!
3.{She is going to KILL me for writing this one!!} She has FINALLY shaved.her.legs. Yep, she has finally shaved! OH my goodness!..........ALLLLLL Summer she has begged and begged and begged. To the point to one night I was watching a show in my bedroom and she comes plopping in on my bed and throws her leg in the air. Im like..WHAT are you doing!?! She goes..'Momma, LOOK! Look at my legs hairs GLOWING from the TV light!' bahaha! So, I got her allll fixed up and showed her the proper way and she did it right before school started! EVERYTHING now.....is.....my legs feel SO different. My legs are darker/tanner now because of me shaving. Oh this because of it or OH that because of it....she talks about it NON-stop! :)
Lily!
1. She is beyond thrilled to have Mrs. Nelson as a teacher for 2nd grade! She is BEYOND thrilled to get to tell everyone that she is in 2nd grade....but she thought K and 1st were just 'babyish!' She is most excited to have Mrs. Nelson because she is the only 2nd grade teacher that brings in baby chicks and the kids help raise them {closer to the end of the school year!} I really think that is ALL she cares about because that is ALL she says if anyone asks her about her teacher, etc!
2.Speaking of baby chicks....she has determined she wants to be a Veterinarian when she grows up! I have to say....I think this is an awesome job for her and she seems to really be excited about it and really thinking about it and all that comes with being one! So much so that the other day...she came to Tyler and I saying that she decided she needs to be a Vegan. I looked at her like WHAT?! ha!
She goes, I want to be a Vet so I can not eat the animals that I want to take care of! So, you know...she has a small and good little point but we both talked to her and now she has realized she doesnt have to be a Vegan to be one! ha! :)
I am excited to see what she really decides to grow up and be! Maybe it will actually be a Vet one day!
3.She is taking a new dance class this year! Dance starts back this week and she is so excited to be in Hip Hop! I cant wait to see her little body doing Hip Hop! She is also LOVING cheer right now too! Cant wait to see her grow in both dance and cheer this coming up year as they are both now in full force!
