Wordless on a Thursday and OH, the blue dress!

Sooo... yeah, been super busy yesterday and did not remember to post Wordless Wednesday so why not do it today!

THIS absolutely cracks me up! This was 100% me when they were younger! It isnt so much me now because Alexis has actually refused {stating she is way too big} but Lily loves her bows and keeps them in! :)

I can remember constantly saying..'leave your bow alone, put that back in, stop messing with it, leave it alone!'.............when they were younger! bahaha! :)

And...yesterday we went back to confirm our dresses and Lily decided on this one! She went through them all again and wanted to have the same color as Alexis! So, they both will be wearing royal blue for the pageant in January!
It looks beautiful on her and she has never worn this color so we shall see!
Little princess! Cant wait to watch her shine on stage!

A cookie or two....or 4 dozen!

Sooo....

I dont bake....

like never!

I am not so much a sweets person...so desserts have just never been my thing!

I will cook you dinner all.day.long.everyday.all.day.

but, dont ask me to bake a cake or anything like that...

so, when I got a fun invite to make 4 dozen cookies for a Christmas cookie swap...

I about panicked! :)

My cookies in NO shape or form turned out how I Pinterest it but they were so yummy and Im just proud of myself that I lived through it! :)

So...google toasted coconut Oreo cookie pops....this is NOT at ALL the picture you will see! bahaha....
but I survived it...and they were good....sooooo I pat myself on the back! :) :)
Cute all bundled up!
Sweet friend Aimee hosted! Such a fun night of laughter, games, food, cooooooookies and memories with sweet friends!
Alllll the cookies! My goodness we had a TON of different kinds!
SO nice! Just what was needed on a random Tuesday night! Such a fun time!
 The three amigos!
 Love these girls!
One of the fun games we played! My drawing was hoooorible! I so thought I drew it all better than I did! ha!
Sweet ladies! Cant wait for next year!

Thinking we are not sure if we can eat them all! ha!
Loaded plate and this is not even all of them! So fun! Love how this kicks off the season which is my most favorite time of the year!

When is Ella Jingle coming?!!?

When!!???

'Google it Mommy!'

That is allllll I have heard since we put up our Christmas tree...several days before Thanksgiving! bahaha!

I guess Lily was under the impression that since the tree and decor was up...that Ella Jingle was on her way!

Well...let me just say..I was waiting as looooooong as possible to have her come back! :)

She kept thinking that I could just 'google' it and find out when she was coming! I have NO idea how that got in her head!

BOY was she SUPER excited when she came this morning!

I was in the shower and she came busting in soooo excited to tell me that she is FINALLY here! :)

Alexis was sooooo excited that Ella Jingle brought her a Starbucks gift card!  {OH me, I know!} and Lily was super excited that Ella Jingle brought all of her friends back again with her for them both to sit out in their room...and her little gift too!

So.....

last night...

I had alllll intentions to put her out before I went to bed...

Well...that didnt happen! TOTALLY forgot {and its only my 1st night! This is not going to go so well for the entire rest of December!} sooo......I never...NEVER thought I would ever say this...but Tyler woke up at 3:30am this morning...

and for ONCE I was soooo glad he did {because he always wakes me up when he gets up} because I SHOT out of bed and raced to put her and her friends, etc out before they woke up! OH my goodness I have GOT to get with it! ha!

Ella Jingle and allll her friends! Alexis and Lily just love all of these little trinkets and love putting them in their rooms!
Ella Jingle wrote them a note saying she is happy to be back! :)
Soooo....let the fun begin! Please say a prayer that I make it through December with this Elf! :)

A Church Christmas!

Nothing better than kicking off the holiday season than having a great Church service!

OH, it was so nice! The piano performances, the songs, the girls singing....all of it was so nice!

We got back into town around 2:00pm, from our trip, so we had just enough time to rest up...unpack...put some laundry in and then get ready to go to Church!

Such a nice ending to a great weekend!

Two beautiful Church girls ready for singing!
Sweet kiddos!
More sweet kiddos! SP cracks me up in these pictures! He is just so shy and was so nervous being up there!
They did a great job! Such a great service!

Blue Ridge!

We had the BEST little trip with the Ray's this past weekend! It was full of relaxation and just views for days!
Misty and I loaded the kids up early Friday morning and headed to Blue Ridge! It was such a nice and easy ride {it really was even with four kids!} and once we got there...we found a Chick-fil-a and let them all exert awhile in the indoor playground! Once we hit Wal-Mart, we were ready to find our cabin!

Our crew on our way for a fun weekend! Misty was the chauffeur so we was driving during this! haha!

I could have swung in this swing the entire weekend! The views...the perfection of just a little coolness, so nice!
And..............not a bad coloring spot huh?!?!
It was the Law crew's first time in a cabin in the mountains and I can say...Im hoooked! I cant wait to go back!
This black bear.............was popular!
Speaking of popular...to this little boy...he enjoyed 'Joe' all weekend! He has a cute little 'kid' accent and so he was asking what Tyler's name was and I said 'Joe!' OH my goodness......alllll weekend  he would say 'HEY Joe!' or 'What u doin Joe!' To hear his sweet little voice was just the funniest thing! I laughed and laughed every.single.time. he said anything towards Tyler! {P.S. Tyler thought it was hilarious too!} What is going to be hard to explain is when he is older that Tyler's name is Tyler and not Joe! {Im thinking it should stay Joe forever as long as Calhoun says it the way that he does!} :) :)
They pretended to ride him the entire weekend!
We spent the reminder of the night just relaxing and playing in the cabin! There were tons of things that kept the kids entertained!..............such as the deck, the swing, the steps going to Misty and Brandon's room {hands down the twins favorite! ha!}, the pool table, the hot tub, the games and more!

Saturday morning we were all up and ready to have a fun lunch and then go on our 1st train ride! We did the Blue Ridge train ride with Santa! It rained but we didnt let that stop us!
Porch swing picture time before we left!
Such a cute area with some really cute and fun shops! Of course we hit up a fudge and icecream shop!
The rain held off some for us!
Ready for the train!
We found our seats and were ready to go!
The Ray's were ready also!
The girls met Frosty!
One big happy 'framily!'
Santa and Mrs. Claus came on board with us!
Family picture!
We came back to the cabin after a full day in Blue Ridge and enjoyed the SEC game and just lounging around!
Our cabin was SO nice! I loved all the wood and just the coziness!
The kids were eating and playing with playdough while the adults enjoyed the game!
Such a fun and memorable weekend! We loaded up Sunday morning and the whole crew had breakfast before we headed home! Such a fun trip and kicked the holidays off perfectly!
This was the view on the ride home! Let me just say, it was peaceful! ha! :) :)
I just LOVE this....from our train trip! Love this 'framily!'
