We love when we can finally make it to float the creek!
Today was that day! It was a beautiful day and we had a great family day!
Love this view! Every.single.time. It makes me happy knowing we are about to have a great family day!
THIS was the 1st time...that Alexis and Lily, both, had their own kayak! Normally Lily floats with Tyler, but not today!
This chick was ready in her kayak!
And, this one in hers....even though she did NOT want this one! She wanted Alexis' because it is smaller.
She didnt want to be tied to Daddy.....either....
she wanted to do it all by herself. We tried to tell her 'baby steps' that once she is stronger and bigger, she can float completely by herself, that what she was doing is good 'learning.' Well, let's just say...it took her some time to stop pouting and then to start enjoying it!
Then, Alexis decided she couldnt paddle and maneuver by herself and wanted to be tied to Daddy too. Well, Lily STILL wanted to be on her own...even after seeing this from Alexis!
So...they both floated behind Daddy. One was happy....and one was not happy! :)
Then, meeting of the minds! We let them both go! Its' time for Alexis to learn how to do it...and Lily wanted to try, so we let her too!
Unlatching them both!
Well...Lily lasted 5 minutes and then realized...yes...she does need some guidance, so she hooked on to mine! She was happy the rest of the time!
Floatin.....just a floatin!
We came home....and guess what...we got a new pool! Yeah...not a 'real' one...but hey, it works. These two, though, whined about it being toooo cold so they didnt last too long. Lily with her goggles cracked me up!
Then, a new way to get a tan. Well, okay! We finished up the day with a nice warm shower...and relaxing.....and doing laundry! Ahhh....worn out is the word for the rest of the day! But, we had such a great family day that it was worth it!

Wrapped it up!
Well, Lily's soccer season officially ended today!
They lost both games. In fact, the lost alllll their games this season. If I remember correctly, Lily only scored 2 goals all season....
BUT...
she had a blast and made some sweet friends and did a sport that she loves! Soo...we count that as a win!
Lily's team played two games today! It was HOT but a beautiful day! Lily was captain of the 1st game!
Ready to GO!
Blocking the other team!
I survived with a fun new drink from Starbucks! A WIN there! :)
This sweet girl had so much fun during her 3rd year of soccer!

Field day and weekly fun!
We are winding down 1st and 5th grade here at the Law home!
The girls are counting down the minutes!
They both were SUPER excited about having field day today! Field day was loaded with tons of games, snow cones, jumpy houses, friends, laughter and more! A perfect day to wrap up the last week of school!
The girls also wrapped up Wednesday night Church as the Summer is approaching. Wednesday they had dinner and a huge ice cream party to celebrate!
I am loving that life is slowing down, some, as school, dance, soccer, Church, etc are wrapping up! That MUST mean Summer is coming! Whoo hoo!
I got this sweet picture the other day of Miss Kennedy! She is just growing soooo fast! Lily wore this sweet dress and now she gets to enjoy it! My day was made!
And...thanks to Snapchat!....I got a new hairdo! :)
Such a fun afternoon! The REC center's outdoor pool opened and they had fun give-aways, snow cones, etc so we had to snap a picture! I know two girls that are going to be super excited to swim here this Summer! WHOO HOO!
I just had to snap a picture of Lily on Wednesday...as I just thought she looked adorable for school! :)
And....today! GOOOOO Team Green! :)
And, I got this picture of Lily having fun from a sweet friend! I am so thankful I have sweet people that look out for my girls when I am not around!
And...GOOOO Team Red!
I heard my phone ding...and it was a friend sending me a picture of Lex enjoying her snow cone during Field day today!

These two!
These two who made me a Mommy!
I am so thankful and blessed that God chose me to be their Mommy!
Being a Mom is HARD work! It is the most stressful, worrisome, tough, fulfilling, humbling, proud, gut wrenching happy, and more all rolled into one big ball of chaos sometimes! ha!
Our days may seem long but the years fly by and each and every day that I get to see them grow just makes my heart so happy!
I have many prayers for my two girls that they grow into the beautifully hearted, kind, ladies that has God pour through them! I pray for their future husbands, their future kids, their future happiness and lives. Being a Mom is hard. Sometimes not feeling like I know the best way to handle a situation with them when they are sad...or in trouble...but relaying on God to help guide me and know that I am trying my hardest! But, seeing them achieve their goals and seeing them love doing activities they love and seeing the smiles on their faces, helps me think I am doing something right...sometimes!
Being their Mom is my greatest achievement and I am so thankful!
My two girls! I love them more than all the fish in the sea!
All the goodies Lily made me! She worked so hard on all of them! I loved one of the most where she said...I am 4 feet tall....and weigh 88 pounds! ha! {Now, that's funny!}
And Lex made me and ABC book! Each letter had something about why I am the best Mom....or something great about me. It was really thoughtful and sweet!
We had a great day! We had a great Church service at our Church and then had lunch with Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi before coming home and curling up for a Sunday afternoon nap while it rained and relaxed to gear up for a new work week!

Recital day!
Yesterday was a big day! Not only was it Lily's last season soccer game but we also ended dance for the season too!
This was a picture from dress rehearsal Friday night. We literally ran from soccer, to grab lunch to flying down to Oxford to get dressed and ready {in this attire} Saturday! :)
Alexis loved hanging out with Carli while they were waiting on their dances. They mainly sat in the dressing room putting make-up on each other!
Time for Lex to shine with her ballet routine! She just shines up on stage! So graceful!
I hate that the stage lights got this picture! But...she if officially shining! :)
Lily's turn! She could have smiled at the audience more but she did great too!
All the ballerinas!
Next, Lex's jazz routine! She shined yet again!
Smiled the entire time!
BOOM! So pretty! Stage lights got this one too!
Awards time! Lily got her perfect attendance award and then Gran brought her flowers!
My little dancing star!
Lex got her perfect attendance dance award too! She has completed her 7th year of dance! Wow, I cant believe she has danced that long already!
Gran giving her flowers too!
OHHH...I hate this picture is blurry! I had to take it around a man giving his daughter flowers and wasnt able to get the camera in focus! Lily getting her 5th year award! 5 years of dance for this girl!
Sweet girl and all of her awards! She loved her beautifully painted ballerina award!
All of her awards....and her 'look' on her face of....NO more pictures! I do NOT like this look!
Alexis with her awards!
Nan and Pawpaw with the little dancers!
Family pic!
Gran and Ben!
We went to eat with them after to celebrate Mother's day at Logans. YUM! After, we came home and crashed! It was a looong day!

The soccer star's last regular season game!
Lily is a rockstar at soccer! I just love her intensity, her focus, her drive, her love for it!
She is right in the middle every time trying to snatch that ball. She hustles the entire game. She breaks out and scores! And...I love watching it all!
Her team hasnt won many games this season but she that hasnt stopped her love!
I have loved watching her and as she has one last tournament play this coming weekend!
She has loved playing with her friend Deven!
My little star!
Look at that focus! And....she is the only one around the rest of the opposing team!
Just call her the flash!
Breaking away to score!
Snatching the ball!
Breaking away to score again!

Wordless Wednesday!
THIS!
How could this happen.....no one will ever know!
Lily fell asleep at the very LOUD Carrie Underwood concert!
You know someone has to be tired to even remotely be able to close their eyes while the concert was going on!
Carrie played about 3 slow songs in a row right at the beginning of her performance...and that did Lily in!
Carrie didnt start playing until around 8:45pm in Lily's defense. Poor thing, she just couldnt hang!
She did perk back up about 45 minutes before Carrie ended so she did get to see some of it and none of us had to carry her to the car! :)

A day at the ball field!
Lily and I headed to the ball field after dance class tonight because we have a lot of little friends that we have been wanting to watch their ballgames and them in action!
So, tonight was tonight! It was a great night to be at the field!
We for sure saw a TON of friends and for SURE caught up with a bunch too! :)
Lily has been dying to watch Thompson and he was SO excited to see her! Sweet friends!
Then...we realized not only Thompson's team but the other team was FULL of friends! So, we watched them all! :)
And...we couldnt leave without watching the little girl that is bent down because playing in the dirt is more fun than playing t-ball!
But...Lily could have just ran around and played with Kelby the entire time instead of watching anyone on the field!
Love that both Alexis and Lily have so many sweet friends!
