OH what a weekend!

Not only was the weekend my birthday weekend...

but it was ALSO one of my most favorite people's wedding weekend!

The wedding part blew my birthday out of the water!...........and Im okay with that!

The girls and I loaded up after school Friday and busted a move to Birmingham to start celebrating Bill and Mallory!

Daddy's big day is today!

Today, 36 years ago, God knew a little boy named Tyler Ashley Law needed to bless this Earth.

We are so thankful that we have had the privilege of being apart of his 36 years! He is our go to handyman....our hardworking, get it done, homework helper, night time book reading, bike riding, out doors man and SO much more Daddy and husband to us!!

Happy birthday to you....we love you!

We celebrated him today by enjoying his favorite place, Long Horn, with Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi after the girls were done with dance class! The restaurant was super busy, for a Thursday night, so it wasnt as good as it normally is, but nonetheless, we had a great night celebrating him!

Wordless Wednesday!

What a 'wordless Wednesday' it is! The cutie pie on the right.............will be wearing white as an actual WEDDING dress Saturday! SO excited for her! Congrats to Mal and Bill!

Lily had another soccer game tonight...and yet another win!

Their team is undefeated so far! Lily scored tonight and helped her teammates with their goals!

She seemed to want to do some cheerleading in the mix of soccer tonight but hey, yes, she is only 6.... so there arent any college scouts out, yet, to watch her so she's fine! :) :)

And just like that,

her first production is over.

She is a STAR in our book. She has loved every minute of it...but whew, we are tired! We came home this afternoon and crashed! After 4 shows, I know one girl that wanted her bed! :)

Alexis had her cheering squad tonight since it was her last performance to help cheer her to the end!

We all enjoyed watching her shine up on stage and cant wait for Peter Pan in the next couple of weeks!

These fabulous group of kiddos worked so hard all week and did such an awesome job on stage! They rocked their last show this afternoon!

 During intermission....Daddy got a shot with his orange haired girl! Yeah....she could have done without coloring her hair today...but she asked since another friend brought it! I held her off the other shows....at least! :)

What we've been up to lately!

Whew....

what have we been up to lately?.....

a whole bunch of stuff! :)

We have managed to celebrate two birthdays lately....Brandi's and Nan's!....threw some soccer practice, The Wiz practices and rehearsals, a soccer game, school, work, tests, homework, dance classes, and 3 performances {so far} into the past week!

Whew! :)

Some how...I have managed to fold a load or two of laundry....keep our house somewhat presentable...finally got all the sticks and limbs out from our yard....and cleaned out my car in the mix! :) Now....cooking........yeah, I cant tell you when I have had time to do that...I have felt like the most unhealthy person, ever, here lately with just grabbing food when we can!

Oh well, this is the time we are in of our lives right now...and I wouldnt have it any other way!

Alexis has been rocking The Wiz every night! She is loving it and has loved being on stage the past 3 nights! I love how they all do this circle, in the picture, and go over 'pointers', pray, and just boost each other up! Before they drop hands, they all say 'Break a leg!' and then do a spin and drop hands! It is super fun and cute! :)

Daddy and Lily have been doing alot of this together this past week! Eating at different fun places while Lex and I are at The Wiz! They have had alot of Daddy/Daughter bonding time!!

She is a mess!............and LOVES this soup! :)

Super jealous that they had Moes one night! Tyler's burrito is bigger than Lily's head! ha!

And tonight we met at Los Mex before Tyler and Lily split off from us and went home while Lex and I headed to the Oxford Performing Arts Center for tonight's performance! Talk about SURPRISING Tyler! OH, I got him! What is funny.....is...he thought he was 'slick' and warned me to not say anything to our waitress.....well, little did he know....I had already told her! So, when they came a singing...........he was totally surprised! What's funny too, is..Los Mex does a totally different song than the typical birthday song all the other Mexican restaurants do...so we were all a tad confused at what they were singing him and not to mention, they had some weird sounding instruments they were playing as they sang also that made us all laugh!

Lily was SOOOO confused as to what they were singing! She knows the 'feliz cumpleaños' song...but not what they were doing! She was trying to figure it out! ha!

Tonight marked Alexis' first dress rehearsal for CAST Kidz {CAST} and she LOVED it!

Now...we just have to make it through tomorrow through Sunday performances! I am worn out just thinking about it!.......

BUT....

it will be worth it and Alexis is SO excited!

Happy birthday to Aubie!

We celebrated with cupcakes, the happy birthday song and blowing out Aubie's candle tonight after Lily's soccer games.....and bath time! :)

Another 'W!'

Lily and her team pulled another win tonight!

She didnt play as aggressive as she had in her previous games, but she still played great! She scored one goal tonight...assisted with making a couple others...

and her biggest play, tonight, was when she did a back kick to her teammate Cam for him to score a goal! That was really cool play! On our way home tonight...she told us that doing the back kick she did....was 'one of my tricks I like to do!' haha! Oh that girl! :) :)

Nan, Daddy and Pawpaw's cheering section! We missed Brandi tonight! It was a chilly afternoon out on the field today! Burr!!........Im ready for WARMTH!
