A perfect Fall day!

So, yesterday....it was cold and rainy and dreary!

Today...was a little on the cloudy side but it was a perfection of a Fall day!

It was just enough cool mixed with a slight breeze to where I could wear my 'Fall' clothes...and not sweat to death! ha!

We had a full and fun day today mixed with Church, lunch, Thompson's birthday bash followed by an impromptu smores and hot tub night!

Perfection!

I got to work in the baby room this morning...and this little one and I had a full conversation while I was in there! Oh sweet Charlotte is growing up on me!

We had an extra person with us for lunch today! My grandchild! :) She kept staring at me the entire time I ate! :)

Lily had the best time celebrating Thompson today with these sweet friends!

Going for a ride was a hit!

Then...we came home...relaxed at home and then decided to invite the Messer's over for smores! Perfection!

The best night! The fire was just what we needed!

Willa Kate was over with Alexis. They had been playing at her house all afternoon and then came over to jump, eat and soak! :) BOO that tomorrow is Monday! It would be nice if the weekend got to continue! :)

Laid back!

OH...I cant say I was sad when I saw Lily's game was cancelled this morning! Staying in our pjs a little longer was just what we allll needed!

It was so nice to stay curled up!

We have had a very low key day and it has been fabulous!

We headed to Oxford for a quick lunch and to see The Adams Family movie since it is nasty and cold outside!

It wasnt as good as I was hoping it would be but it was cute and the girls had fun..so I count that as a win.

We are home now...curled up again...watching football the rest of the night! My kinda day!

Look what Daddy got up and running this morning!?! Yep...this thing is in action now and I know one guy who is super pumped about it!
These two had to test it out ASAP so it was perfect timing as there was a break in the rain! They jumped in for a bit before cleaning up and heading to lunch!

We were supposed to have a fun day with friends at the Pumpkin Patch in Birmingham and dinner with Meg and Mal...but due to the rain...all of that was cancelled so we still wanted to get some 'Halloween' spirit in so this movie it was! The girls loved it. I wasnt a huge fan...but it was a nice little family time anyways!

A Friday night Halloween birthday!

Callie turned 8 yesterday so we celebrated her at the Fritts with all of our buddies!

Alexis was toooo busy with her friends to slow down and let me snap a picture of them. Sydney, Alexis, Willa Kate, Carli, Reese and Sara Kate had fun 'hanging out' together during Callie's party too!

This was hilarious! Seeing all the kiddos trying to eat the doughnut with no hands! Cracked me up!

She tried and tried!

And...tried to cheat and use her hands! ha!

Then....they had to try and guess what was in the 'haunted bowls!' ha! Carrie hit the nail on the head with this! They all loved it and were screaming and saying yuck as they stuck their hands in! It was things like 'brains'...or noodles....etc! :)
Us parents enjoyed hanging out while they all had a blast making Callie feel special on her special day!

Two A rollers!

Report cards came out today and BOTH of them...whoop whoop...hit the A-Honor roll!

Super proud of both girls as they have so much going on and so many activities that they are involved in that they know that school is most important and they work hard and are determined to do their best!

So proud of them!

And...it is Friday...it is the weekend...so...come home....and there is more of my children home! :)

This was a wake up call when I read this. This is so true!

P-Cola weekend!

We had the BEST weekend!

Just what the doctor ordered!

We loaded up and headed to Pensacola Friday right after the girls were done with school!

The girls are out for 'Fall break' so Tyler and I decided to take off today and make a long weekend out of visiting Brittney, Mitchell and Kennedy!

OH....the beach!

Just what we alllll needed!

Happy birthday to this sweet girl who is smaller than the bag that her gift from us came in! :) She LOVED the water ball that we got her!

Once we were packed and ready...we spent the entire day and night out on the boat and on our own 'private island!' :)
These three had a blast together! Three peas in a pod!

Floating! The weather was a little dreary as we were riding out but it cleared up quickly and was just beautiful the rest of the day! I have always said October is the best Month to go to the beach...and it was so true! The breeze was perfection...and it was a perfect day!

Little met a friend! It crawled and crawled on her! She met a lot more friends too! TONS of hermit crabs! She brought 3 {only because I said just 3, she would have brought like 20 home} 'home'...but they 'died' overnight! {Darn!} :)

We didnt get to stay in the water long, though, because of these fellows! There were TONS of them! Apparently it is migrating season! They were SO big! Good thing they were big so we could see them coming! Tyler and Mitchell were on jellyfish duty picking them up with a shovel and putting them in a hole they made in the sand! It was super neat to watch them all swim!

We grilled lunch right on the beach! It was super fun! The girls ran on the island, we ate, laughed, caught up and just had a great time being together!

YUMMY!

THESE two! OH my goodness talk about cuteness! Every.single.thing. Lily did....Kennedy would copy! So, Lily made herself....and Kennedy a chair to sit and enjoy being in the water! It was sooo cute!

They played and played and just had the best time!

Lily did a little snorkeling before deciding she didnt want to swim up on the jellyfish floating by!

So we stayed out until time to head, on the boat, to dinner! We went to Flounders which was fantastic! There was an outdoor playground and our booth just happened to be right beside it so the girls played right there while we talked and finished eating!
This was Tyler's! Yep...HUGE!....and he said delicious! It had shrimp and crab meat on it along with TONS of other goodies! He put a huge dent in it...but couldnt finish it all despite trying! :)
After dinner...we rode the boat back home...got showers and allll crashed! A perfection of a day!

Bright and ready to go Sunday...these two took off for a day of deep sea fishing! They had a great time even though they didnt catch very much!

Meanwhile...us girls had a staycation and hung out at home all day doing things like this!....

And....this....oh MY goodness..these two! They went round and round and round and round...and round....and round....AND round on these things! They laughed every time they would come around to us! They were just 'blurs' the entire time! :) :)

Stopping for a quick chat and them letting me take a picture before starting up again!
The guys got back and we ended up just ordering pizza and watching movies the rest of the night...which was just what we all needed too! So nice and relaxing! We headed to bed and then Brittney and Mitchell were off to work this morning...and we loaded up and headed home! We cant wait for our next trip to see them!

This was the ride home most of the way! We got home and now...as I type this...Lily is with Callie {spending the night} and Alexis is with Carli {spending the night with Sara Kate} to cap off the rest of their Fall break! BOO! I have to go back to work tomorrow! :)

JHS Homecoming parade!

This week has been HOCO week here in Jacksonville!

To say we have heard TONS of stories of the kids going WAY overboard on the rolling of yards....writing on property....cars...etc...egging....etc...that they shouldnt been doing...has hit an all time high this year!

Whew....

all I can say is...when that time comes {NEXT year...WHAT?!?} when Alexis is in high school...we are going to be posting a sign in our yard {like a lot of people are starting and having to do} to warn kids...that we have cameras and if they are caught vandalizing...they will be punished!

Now, I am ALL about having fun during Homecoming week....rolling yards! I mean, that was some of my most favorite memories as all of us cheerleaders dressed in alllll black {one year} and got ready together at Erica's house and then hit the streets of Indian Oaks a couple of nights just having fun and just doing innocent things.

Now...these kids just do stupid stuff that ruins car paint....driveways...etc. Not acceptable!

Have fun....but be respectful too!

So, now that I am off my rant. Lily loved the parade tonight. The crazy thing is....we had to be there an hour before it started but the parade literally lasted 15 minutes. Yeah, I could have been home in my pjs! :)

We are sad to miss the Homecoming football game tomorrow night as that is one of my favorite games of the year. {Mainly because I love to see the Homecoming Queens and what they are wearing!} :) But...we are heading to the BEACH! Whoop whoop so I am super excited and READY!
