Do you notice anything different!?

So, as I picked up the girls today...

Lily ran up to me SO SUPER excited!

The first thing out of her mouth was...

'Do you notice anything different?!?!'

{In my favor....it helped that she was grinning as BIG as she possibly could...so I knew something was up/different in her mouth!} bahaha!

So, sure enough...she has finally lost her 2nd tooth!

Whoop whoop!

She was thrilled and then told me to not tell Daddy...that he was going to have to figure it out too!! :)

So, she lost it at P.E. and had one of the P.E. teachers help her! She said she didnt cry or anything! :)
And....TOTALLY shocking...Lily found her $2.00 from the Tooth Fairy before she even fell asleep! She just couldnt believe that the Tooth Fairy came sooooo quick as she had just closed her eyes for 1 minute after we told her goodnight and she wasnt even asleep yet! {That CRAZY Tooth Fairy!} :)

Sunday fun-day...missing tooth edition and...some toe nail clippers!!

We had a wonderful Sunday fun-day filled with sunshine, Church, a 'toe clipper' incident, JSU softball,friends,laughter, Church cookout,Sonic 'fun' drinks and a tooth pulling time!

Doesnt get much better than that!

SOOO.....quick story to share before I continue with the rest of our day. So, we ran home after Church and before lunch. Im sitting at lunch and look over at Alexis and see that under her eyebrows....there is blood. I immediately know she has done something {on her own and withOUT my advice as I see the blood}. So, she is just smacking away eating her food and Im staring at her. {Yes, ugh, she smacks! :) So anyways..} She doesnt bat an eye at me. Has NO idea that I am seeing that she has done something to her eyebrows! She thinks she looks just dandy, I guess! {Despite the fact that it is CLEAR she has butchered her eyebrows and parts under them are bleeding!} So, I ask her...'Alexis what did you do to your eyebrows?' She immediately gets the look of 'I am caught' on her face.

YALL.......

She used TOE nail clippers to PLUCK her eyebrows!

Should I repeat this!?!?!

No, I just cant! OH my goodness, my CHILD!

Her response...'Well, I wanted to 'fix' my eyebrows and wanted some of the hair to go away. So, I did it myself.'

REPEAT...

with TOE nail clippers!

Good grief! So, Lily got a HUGE kick out of this! She literally could NOT breathe and her face turned so red as she laughed SO hard at Alexis... as she said 'Alexis I just used those on my toes this morning before Church!' {Oh...just goodness!} :)

Oh, the stories and memories I am going to get to bring up when they are older! :)
So, I had to fix the mess she made with her doings and so I pulled out my pluckers. She did NOT like it and screamed that it 'hurt' the entire time I shaped her up. I TOLD her....lesson learned as this is WHY she had no business touching her eyebrows. OH...goodness! :)


These girls had a dance party....instead of caring about the JSU softball game! It was a great game..and JSU won, from what I watched of it! :)

Be the sunshine on cloudy days!

After the softball games, we headed to the Church picnic at Henry Farm park. Alexis and Lily brought Hope, Madelyn and Lily. They had fun playing with all their friends. I enjoyed some chatting time!

Then it was FOOD time! Hamburgers and hotdogs and more for the win!

After a fun filled day...we were all worn out! So, headed home and straight to bath and bed! Alexis had to pause a minute and have Daddy pull a tooth! On the way home from the picnic, Alexis' tooth just starting gushing blood in the car! Hope and Madelyn were freaked out by the blood but it was just because Alexis' tooth was literally dangling! So, Daddy to the rescue and had it out in a second! She refused for me to take a picture...and refused to put her tooth under her pillow as she clearly stated...I am the tooth fairy! Ugh....
So, Im debating if she gets any 'tooth fairy' money! :) :)

Soccering it!

I didnt get many pictures of Lily in action today....

Tyler and I coached. Whew, is alllll I can say! Soccer coaching is not my thing but happy to step up when Coach Aimee had a tournament to attend!

They didnt win....but they all played hard! Maybe they'll get a win before the season is over! Fingers crossed! :)

This girl...ON fire! I just love rooting her on! They played in Oxford today at Choccolocco Park. It was a super nice area!

We spent the ENTIRE rest of the day....enjoying being at home!....well, more like...in our neighborhood! :) Lily went with Hope over to Madelyn's to play. They played all afternoon and then once she was home, 'Big' Lily, Lex, Lily and I had an intense riffle ball game after Lily and I took a walk!
Meanwhile, Lily and Alexis rode their bikes around the neighborhood before our riffle ball game!

On our walk...Lily wanted to climb this tree...and show me how well she could climb it! So, I just had to snap a picture of how well she did it! :)

Best part of the night!

My work family and I had a wonderful night filled with jazz music, yummy dinner, chatting, laughing, catching up, awards and relaxing quality time!

We had our faculty and staff awards banquet at the Cane Creek Golf course tonight and it was very nice!

Love all these ladies! Love that my work family is just as special as family! I see them more, that's for sure! :)

Congrats to this one! I nominated her for the Service Excellence award and she is so deserving! Very thankful for her!

BUT....the BEST award over all that was given...was what I GOT when I got HOME! Lily had made me a sweet note and picked me a flower! Melted my heart! LOVE this and wouldnt have wanted any other 'award' than this! LOVE!

Another Aubie birthday!....and supporting friends!

It's AUBIE'S birthday!

The girls always loooooove celebrating Aubie's birthday! Every year.....we must have cupcakes and party hats! AND.....cant forget...singing him HAPPY birthday!

{so, for the record, I am not sure when Aubie's birthday is. We gave him to Alexis for her birthday which is in July....and he was {maybe} 2 months old. Well, for ME to help remember {each year} I made Aubie's birthday....right after mine! So, BAM....each April, we celebrate!} :) :)

So, HAPPY birthday to the BEST cat around! {Besides Tickles, we LOVE Tickles too!} :)

Before Church, {on Wednesday} we supported the JHS junior high cheerleaders during their spirit night at Dairy Queen. We met our small group there and instead of eating at Church!
Alexis just loves Alexis...and Alexis just loves Alexis! ha!

We allll just love Lily! Lily just loves Lily and Lily just loves Lily! ha! {Getting confused!?!?}
And....MY Lily wouldnt stop making 'silly' faces while I was trying to take a picture!

And...sweet Dailyn! We had to support her too! :)

Lily and I enjoyed a beautiful afternoon walk once we got home from dance yesterday and OH to bottle up these moments would be wonderful!

As we started walking....she got SO excited and started RUNNING straight for the honeysuckles!

She LOVES picking them and sipping the  'honey!'

So, as we walked.....she had a huge handful of them so we could walk over to let her teach Collins alllll about them!

Collins cared nothing about Lily teaching her and trying to get her to eat the honeysuckles, so Lily just decided to eat them all herself! :)

At one point, Lily looked up at me and said 'This is just my favorite thing! I love Spring!' :)

My day!

Today was a great day for a birthday!

And...it happened to be mine! :)

This one asked me to take a picture of her with her new lunchbox! I cant get her to smile or take a picture...when I want her to though!

So, I snagged on of this girlie too!

So, I walk in to work.....and go to open my door......

AND...

Yeah...apparently I am having a baby.....and its a boy...

AND...

I had NO idea!

Even had an ultrasound picture up! Bahaha! Yeah...OH my co-workers GOT me!

And...streamers and balloons threw up in my office too!

A lot of laughs....and I had to explain to A LOT of people throughout the day! It was a good birthday!

Easter 2019!

We have had a wonderful Easter weekend!

He is not here, for he is risen!

We did a little Snapchat before getting ready to head to Aunt Pam's {to eat and have Easter} since it was cold....and rainy...and we didnt have Lily's two soccer games that were scheduled! We stayed nice and cozy, and in our pjs as long as we could!

Love this girl and super happy to see her happy and meet Chase! They are super cute together and he was such a good sport from hiding Easter eggs to helping find the REAL eggs that the kids hid....and could NOT find in Pam's house! bahaha! :)

She ate about 4 different desserts! :)

Easter egg hiding time! Alexis decided that she was way TOOO big to find eggs this year so she helped Meg and Chase!

These two...and Lincoln had a TON of eggs to find! They had a blast! Lily was super excited that she won with 46 eggs!

Kicking off Easter!

Today we have done allllll things Easter since Lily has not one...but two soccer games tomorrow...on TOP of soccer pictures!

So, today.....we crafted and more! :)

Yeah...so, still in their pj's....up WAY before the rest of the world. We were decorating Easter cookies to take to Aunt Pam's tomorrow!

Then, we got cleaned up....and before we headed to our bike ride, the girls 'Egged' some friends!
I thought this was super cute from our Church as a way to invite people to Easter Sunday!
The girls have been SOOO ready to do this since they got them Wednesday at Church!

We decided to not put the eggs alllll in the yard because it had been raining and was a dreary day with more rain on the way. So, she put all the eggs by the door! :)

Then, Lily's house she chose! :)

So next...after they had lunch with Daddy, we did this! My goodness at all the colors and the smell of eggs and vinegar! Whew! :)

Trying to decide on what colors to do...and mix with, etc....is tough! :)

Yeah....there is always a mess, but its a good one! :)

Alexis realized what her favorite colors are as most of her eggs looked the same because she kept choosing the same colors without realizing it.
