Just what we needed to ring in the new year!

 We took off!

And...

it was just perfection!

We had the BEST trip and it was perfection to kick off the fresh new year!

Best friends...laughs...memories...the beach....chats....late night hide and seek...sparklers.....ringing in the new year......game playing...and MORE! So fun!

We headed down Wednesday and came back today to the Messer's beach house along with the Rays! Their place is in 30A which is right beside Destin! The weather was perfection on Wednesday when we got there and it was supposed to rain and be cold the rest of the time but it turned out to be nice! So thankful!

We hit the beach and spent the entire afternoon just hanging in the sand and by the water! A couple of these in this picture...........kept venturing closer and closer and closer......and closer to the water...and got wetter and wetter and................wetter.................all by accident............of course! :) Not a care in the world that the water was freezing though it was a perfect 72 degrees outside!

She played and played!

Love this view! They had the best time just soaking up the day!

Ahhhh.......soooooo peaceful!

They had the best time writing in the sand! Here they were writing........HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Seeing how long they could hang! ha!

Then....us old ladies had to try! This was the absolute BEST memory moment ever! OH...this picture makes me laugh for several reasons!

We came back to the house and grilled out and sang happy early birthday to this one turning the big 6 in a couple of days!

They had the best time just playing together and playing games and 'doing hair!' A great 1st day!

Then....time for bed! They curled up and mine and Tyler's room to watch some TV for a little bit!
