Love and friendships!

We wore our red today since the day 'of love' is in two days!

We had a full day of Church, met Andrew, Gran and Ben for lunch and then did the usual groove of a Wal-Mart run and math tutoring in the mix.

The girls were also really excited to work on their Valentine's to their friends!

The smiles on their faces as they wrote 'To and From' made my heart smile too! :)

We kicked off more of the weekend with Alexis going to Carli's 9th birthday party! She had a blast with all of her sweet friends!

 Happy birthday Carli! Cant believe how fast these girls are growing up!

 Movie night party was a hit! Alexis spent the night with Carli after the party and even though it didnt work out with Callie staying at our house...Alexis stayed at Carli's! :) Per Alexis...she didnt go to sleep until 1am!
So in between Church...and math tutoring, Alexis took a good 2 hour or so nap today! :) :)

 Then...time to work on the Valentine's!

 Lily did so good writing her name on hers!

 I love how she drew a heart beside her name because she saw Alexis doing it! :)

 Alexis is the most organized person ever! She added her additional friends on her list to make sure she covered everyone...and did it all soooo neatly and checked everyone off the list to ensure she didnt skip anyone!

 Then after writing all the names, it was time to stick them on the candy!

 Once they finished them all, they put them in their Valentine tins. Of course Alexis kept out the friends that are not in her class so she could give them to their easier! :) They both are SO excited about their Valentines parties that will be Tuesday too!

Today was great....tonight was a bust!!

We had a busy and fun, full day of birthday parties!

Both girls have been asking me for weeks now for when this day was going to get here!

Lily has been dying for Abby Grace's party to get here...

and Alexis has been for Carli's!

Callie came home with us after Abby's birthday party and had a great afternoon. Lily and her played and played and colored and played games and shopkins and 'cooked' in the kitchen...and made me cupcakes made with ketchup! They had a blast!

We enjoyed Yamoto because both of them requested and begged to go there after we dropped Alexis off at Carli's house for her 'movie night' 9th birthday party! {and to spend the night with her after}

Well.....

Lily just cant hang!

Neither of my girls stay up late...

so, at about 9:15 Lily came to me and said she had cleaned up the whole playroom and that she was tired!  {for Lily to actually clean up the playroom.........SAYS something!} Usually Alexis is the one cleaning it up by herself as Lily does one toy every 15 minutes or so!

Well, I told Lily to go finish playing...

and about 10 minutes later she came to me again and said she was ready to go to sleep!

Well...........

then it happened.... for Callie to be the first friend for Lily to have over for her first 'friend spend the night party'..... just busted!

Callie wanted to go home. She said she couldnt sleep anywhere without her Mommy and since I knew Carrie wouldnt be coming over to crawl into bed with them....... I knew we had to take  her home! :)

Lily was upset and I had to get her because she looked over at Callie and said 'So youre not my friend anymore because you dont want to spend the night with me?' I had to explain to her that Callie has never spent the night away before {besides at her grandparents house} and it wasnt because she wasnt having fun, or didnt want to be her friend, she just missed her home.

So, Lily gave Callie a hug and Tyler took her home.

Literally by the time he got back home...he went in to tell Lily goodnight and she was already passed out!

She was not kidding when she said she was tired and ready to go to bed!

Maybe we can try it again for Callie and she will stay next time! ..... maybe! :)

This is the only picture I got! :(  They both LOVE Yamoto so Tyler and I had a date night with them and let me tell you....these two are a mess together! They were singing and dancing to the music that the restaurant had playing and telling each other 'secrets' and just laughing and being silly!
Once we got back home...they played so well together! I love to see Lily's sweet little friendships starting to bloom!! :) :)

Feeling the love!...

We have been feeling the love and gearing up for Valentine's Day this week and the girls have looked oh so cute doing it!

This week hasnt been as crazy busy...and it has been soooo nice!

We have been in the same groove of 3rd grade math....3rd grade English and oh....did I say 3rd grade spelling and vocabulary words too! :)

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! :) :)

And tonight I am curled up with my blanket after a long...but good day, watching my long awaited weekly fix of Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder since the girls are in bed after a full day of school and dance! We have been productive! Work hard.....sleep hard! {for the girls!} ....binge watch my favorite shows for me! ha!

This and that...and that cat!

Today marked Alexis getting back in the groove of cheer gym.

She was tight and nervous to pick it all back up but she gained her confidence back quickly!

Overall I think she will have her back walkover by herself in no time!

I let Lily go tonight because she has been begging to do gym too....

and...let's just say, she wont be back for awhile!

That girl and her attention span....

as well as her lack there of .....of having strength...just combines to make it where she needs to wait a little while before she gets in the groove of cheer. She tried hard though {for the most part} and she had a great time with the 'big girls!' :) And....she look adorable trying too! :) :)

She got so excited when Miss Paige would 'throw' her backwards! :)

Practicing to learn a cartwheel. Both Miss Paige and I can not figure out how best to teach her to do it since she is left handed. She kept going/leaning on her right leg and then would switch.....so I am not sure if it is age that she needs to just gain the understanding of what to do or if it is going to be hard in the future to teach a left handed person how to do something the 'right' way when she wants to do the opposite hand/way of what she is more dominate with. To say I am confused and cant wait to see how she masters this as she is older is an understatement! :)

Victorya and Carmen came too and along with Alexis.....and Lily, they all did great tonight!

OOHHHH!!!......she just needs to do it already!! She is sooo close.....

We got home....ate dinner, got baths and then this cat curled up with his favorite person. He has missed her while she was being a 'cheerleader!' :)

It isnt new news that Lily LOVES bubblegum! I swear...I have lost count at how many pieces the girl has eaten of gum!

Everyone knows her love of gum.....so everyone is a sucker when it comes to her and asking them for said gum! Everyone...............gives in! :) :)

So, it isnt a surprise that her mastering a bubble would be in the near future!

Well, today was it!

And today was a special day...today is Ben's birthday! So glad that he has gotten a lot stronger and is feeling better!

Nannie and Hogan...Andrew...us and Gran and this crew all came to celebrate and enjoy our favorite after Church today!! {Moes if you didnt know!} :)

And.....LOOK!!!....that is one awesome bubble! She was soooo proud of herself!! :) :)

Today marked another year under both girls belts as ballerinas!

They both looked so beautiful and graceful today!

I can not wait to see this shine on stage again this year during their recital coming up!

She looks 25! She is sooo excited to get her jazz costume in and I cant wait to see pictures of her in that outfit too when the time comes!

It felt like we spent half the day doing pictures and then got home in time for Daddy and them to hit the park and practice soccer. These two girls can go from super girly to sporty in a second. They had fun practicing making goals and kicking the ball today too!
Next up...Tyler is grilling out burgers as the girls are playing in Alexis' room today and actually playing nicely together! :) Perfect Saturday!

A long week....

Whhhooo hhoooo!!

It is the weekend!

This week has been so busy at work for me and I had a very long cheer meeting Monday so I just have felt so tired and behind! On top of that and feeling just achy, I am so glad it is the weekend for it to be the first week in February!

I have to say, I love the month of love! Getting all the Valentine decorations out and seeing all the hearts make me happy!

When you have a long and busy...crazy...week.... having ice cream with sprinkles with co-workers make it better!

Love this little group of girls! Princesses for God! I love to hear their stories....their thoughts...their feelings as we talk each week about what it is to be a Princess in Gods eyes by being respectful, caring for others, etc! Such a sweet group!
Alexis is not in this class because she enjoys a different class and Lily has her own class too....so it is just me and all of them and it is so fun!

Alexis got her ballet costume in this week and it is so pretty! They both have their dance pictures tomorrow and I am SO excited to see them in their cute costumes! Alexis hasnt gotten her jazz costume in yet so we are having to take those pictures later. I am excited to see that costume too!

And today is Friday and was 'Wacky Tacky' day for this little one! She for sure was 'wacky tacky!' :) :)

And now...as I sit here.....it is 7:00pm....the girls are enjoying being all curled up in their bean bags watching an 1 of the 4 American Girl doll movies since they are LOVING them since the surprise from Daddy as we are catching up on 'How To Get Away With Murder' since I was soooo tired last night that I couldnt stay up to watch! Whooo hooo!!.....I love this show! :)
