Fall in!

Today was 'Fall in' at work! For it to be my first one....it was great! We had a huge turn out of students who ate and participated in the Halloween costume contest! It was alot of fun to see all of the different costumes!
All because of Mrs. Cindy Tubbs, I was transformed into a Zombie dead old student nurse! She is the Lab Director...and she had WAY TOOOOOO much fun with me and with all of her "goodies" that she uses for her dummies in the lab! :)
I scared myself! Everyone kept telling me that I had to go home after and wash my face because I would end of scaring the living daylights out of Alexis and Lily if they saw me! :)
Cant wait for the next one! :)

The Williams Fall festival!

Tonight we went to our Church's Fall festival, trunk or treat! The girls had SO much fun and there were alot of people and SO much food! Lily cracked me up! She just was not sure about all the people dressed up and all of the different face masks! She would just freeze in her steps and stare at all the costumes! She did SO well with saying 'trick or treat' and then she would say 'tank you' when someone would give her candy! Alexis and Lily LOVED getting all the candy, jumping in the bouncy houses and petting the animals! Neither girl wanted to play any of the games though. They were too busy doing everything else!
Our church had tons of food! All different kinds of soups and chilis. They even had hotdogs and chips, etc...and tons of desserts! The line for food was wrapped around the whole gym! There was a great turn out!
Alexis and Lily were excited about carving pumpkins! Alexis helped more than Lily! Lily wouldnt touch it...and kept saying 'yucky Daddy!' :)

Halloween Sunday!

Today is the Sunday before Halloween...so we had to wear our cute Halloween outfits to Church! We have had a busy busy weekend, with an even busier week and weekend coming up!

I worked the ACT test at JSU yesterday morning while Daddy, Alexis and Lily went to Callie's 2nd birthday! They had fun playing outside, in the bouncy house and eating cake while I was watching and making sure kids didnt cheat on the test! :)
As I sat watching the kids taking the test, it was neat to see how they handled "stress."  Most girls played with their hair and most guys tapped their pencil as they thought! :) It was funny to watch them all move their mouths as they read and roll their eyes to the sky when they were frustrated! :) I looked around the room and just pictured all of those kids as older adults. Where will all of the young kids end up in life? Lawyers, doctors?? I couldnt help but picture in my head Alexis and Lily sitting in those desks! How will they look, how will they be when they are that age? It made me smile to think about them sitting there taking the ACT and knowing that they have so much life left to live and knowing that their future has sooo many memories ahead! :) We enjoyed the afternoon watching Auburn stomp Florida Atlantic! I am sooo glad Auburn is having a great season! Let the 'Gus bus' keep rolling!! :)

Busy Friday!

We have had a busy busy busy day today! Lily had her little school's Fall party! She was SO excited about going to the pumpkin patch! They had a party where they ate a ton of food and then they walked up to the Church's pumpkin patch and picked out a little pumpkin!

Alexis had a big day today also! Today marked the first day she received her first report card! I remember always being soooooo nervous when I was younger to get my report card! I was always so nervous checking my grades to make sure they were good so I wouldnt get in trouble with my parents! {Luckily, I always had great grades though!!} ;)
Alexis' first report card was GREAT! I am sooo proud of her! They have a different "scoring" system that what I am used to. They have E's and G's and N's etc! {You want to have E's and G's} E means excellent and G means great. She got pretty much all E's..and a few G's!! Mrs. Pollard even put a special note to Alexis saying how proud she was of her! :)

Tonight marked the 1st Annual Fall neighborhood party! I was kind of disappointed because we ended up not having as big of turn out as I had thought because it was SO cold outside! OH MY GOODNESS, it was cold! All the people that called me saying they were coming...just couldnt make it because of the weather. :( Which I totally understand! Maybe next year, we will have it earlier..when it will still be warm! :) It was really nice meeting the neighbors that did brave the cold though! It was nice to eat and sit around the fire pit and get to know them! Overall, it was a great night...despite the cold! :)

She kept saying all morning {before we left to go to school} "Mommy, I go to the pumpkin patch today!" :)

Mommy's little pumpkin, brown day!

Baby, it is cold outside! My goodness the weather is chilly! I had a meeting yesterday and as I was waiting on a couple of people outside, I thought I was about to get blown away by the crisp cool hard wind! I could not get over how windy it was...on top of the colder temps! We have had a great week this week despite the coolness though!

Today is yet again...COLOR day! :) Today was brown day!

Halloween cuties then and now!

This is Alexis....then {2012 above} and now {2013 below} My goodness, to me, she has grown up so much from just a year!!

This is Lily...then {2012} above and now {2013} below! Even though she is not wearing the same outfit in the pictures, I still cant get over how much she has grown and changed in just a year too!!

I...yet again...love seeing Lily and Alexis in the same cute things! :) The picture of Alexis and Daddy is from October 2010! Alexis was around 27 months! Lily is  25 months wearing it, above!

NOTHING can beat these "then" pictures though!!! These pictures to me are CLASSIC! Alexis and Lily both are going to die when they see these pictures of me making them dress up as a peanut...and a sheep when they are older!! OOHHH are they not sooo cute!!

And...yep...Lily was a sheep!! {Made of big cotton balls!} :) The year was 2011 and she was a little over a month old! :)

Bubble gum...bubble gum!

Tonight Alexis had her Fall  performance at her school! She was SO excited about it...and just kept asking who all was going to be there! She said that she was worried that she was going to trip and fall while she was singing. :( I told her that she would be fine and she was! She did a great job! The little Kindergartners did two songs complete with hand motions too! :)
They did their first song which was about the different seasons. Alexis was "Winter"...and she had to wear a snowflake around her face! :) She had a little "solo" spot where she had to walk around and sing with the snowflake on her! haha!
The next song was about bubble gum...and how much they love bubble gum! Alexis said that song was her favorite! It was a really cute song! We all enjoyed dinner at one of our favorite places..Romas after her great performance!

I love to see how much my girls are so similar and yet so different when they wear the same cute outfits! I bet one of these days, Lily is going to get mad that she has to wear all of Alexis' "hand me downs"....but at least they are cute and she looks so cute in them! :)
