It was Labor day weekend...

 It was Labor day weekend...I was seventeen... {sorry, I got Tim McGraw stuck in my head! :)}

Yeah...well, that isnt true but it was Labor day weekend! ha!

We havent been able to go on a trip during Labor day weekend since...I dont know when...because we have had football/cheer/dance jamboree games since Alexis was in the 1st grade on this weekend. 

It was sooooo nice to have a getaway! It was much needed!

It was odd to be down in Auburn....when it is supposed to be football season! Normally there would be an Auburn game this weekend...but due to COVID, that didnt happen. It was sad but we are ready for October to get here for some football!

We got down Saturday just in time to soak up the entire day...poolside! Having a slush...icing on the cake!

These three played and played and played!

And..these two played and played too! They threw some sort of toy everyday!

Then..it was the traditional hula hoop contest time! Apparently each major holiday...they have a contest! They were excited to get to participate. The only thing is...that this time {due to their age} they competed against each other! Well, they both didnt win...but had fun anyways!

Aunt Pam got Lily Orbeeze for her birthday. They had sooo much fun watching them grow!

We ate at the Mason Jar for dinner and it was so good! All the kiddos picked out a milkshake! This was Alexis'!

And Lily's! Hers was Italian ice. So yummy!

When we got back to the hotel, they were amazed at how much they had grown!!

Day 2! We had a mermaid show up!

These two...kept playing toss! ha! This time it was with a turtle! ha!

Time for dinner! We went to Niffers on this night! So fun!

Then...ice cream at Brewsters!

And..today we did some shopping before eating at Newks before heading home! We had such a fun trip and it so enjoyed the Ray's with us! Until next time!
