Wordless Wednesday!

This little girl......too....

Soooooo..... Tyler and I are talking because Alexis has had her 'clip moved' at school two days in a row because her little motor mouth will not stay closed when it is supposed to.

Sooo....Tyler says that he is 'going to handle it' by giving Alexis the 'ultimate punishment.' Sooo...I just smile and shake my head okay,  and let him handle it.

Well, he calls Alexis into the kitchen. He tells her how he is disappointed that she has gotten in trouble two days in a row and how she knows when she is supposed to talk and when she isnt, etc...etc. Then he says 'And your punishment to learn your lesson is that you will have to sit in your room after bath until bedtime and the only thing you can do is read a book.' 

Alexis looks at him with the most happy expression and starts getting sooo excited as she says "Thank you Daddy!! I LOVE to read, I want to do that because I love that!" Yep, that back fired on him..........

Ohhh me......

This little girl! We are going to have to tape her mouth closed from now on..... :)

And note to Daddy, now he knows that just because he thinks the 'ultimate punishment' is reading because he hates to read....doesnt mean everybody hates reading!  :)

At least I can say that this little stinker is overall a great little girl {even if her poor mouth is always so tired because it never closes :)} and she is such a hard little worker! :)

Day 112!
My birthday!! WHOO HOO!! Getting old! :)
My co-workers were SOOOO sweet!! They surprised me with filling my office with balloons and banners!!

They even filled my fridge with Milos sweet tea because they know how much I LOVE tea! :)...and of course they decorated a cup for me to drink my tea out of! :)

I ended my birthday night with dinner with the family! It was a great birthday! :)

Yet another birthday treat! We had dinner with Ty's family! Topped off the afternoon with none other than some yummy cupcakes!

Every night {thank goodness I do this now that this event has happened!!} I go and check on Lily when Tyler and I put Alexis to bed.

I usually just have to cover Lily up good or move her 10,000 stuffed animals away from her body...you know...things like that when I go in to check on her!.......

Sitting soooo happily........

COVERED in lotion!

She had three bottles of lotion perfectly aligned in front of her and was sitting behind them taking turns squirting each one of them all over her!!

LOTION everywhere................

Her hands had so much lotion on them that they were wrinkled like she had been in water for hours!!

What am I going to do with this girl..................

Easter Sunday~ 2014!

He has risen! I hope my girls understand the true reason as to why we celebrate Easter! It isnt all just about Easter eggs and what the Easter Bunny brings! {Even though those things are fun!} :)

This morning the Easter Bunny stopped by our house and the girls were excited to see what things the Bunny left behind!

We cleaned up and headed to our Church for Easter service.  Once the service was over, we headed to Classic at Buckhorn to have lunch with Brandi and Pawpaw. Nan didnt get to join us because her sister is in the hospital so she was spending time with her.

Today was such a beautiful day for Easter!!

Easter~2014 Part 1

Yesterday was Daddy's birthday and what better way to spend it....why out on the boat, of course!

We had Easter with my side of the family and we also celebrated Tyler's birthday at Aunt Pam and Richard's new house on the water! I have to say...I LOVED their view of the water!! :) We cooked out, went boat riding, played with Easter eggs, iced cupcakes, hung out, sang happy birthday and ate cake and last but NOT least....got to spend some time with Little Bunny 'Meggie Fu Fu!' :) Yep, that's right, Miss Easter Bunny made a special trip to see us again this year! All I can say is.....WAY TOO FUNNY with Meagan wearing that costume! It cracks me up every time I see her in it! :)

I want to go on a boat ride for my birthday like Tyler got to! ;)

Alexis' very first boat ride!! She begged to ride and so Richard got the boat ready...and we took off!! She laughed and smiled the WHOLE time we rode! She LOVED riding!

Workin hard for your money!!

We have had a busy weekend! I am LOVING the Spring weather we have been having lately! The beautiful blue skies and sunny days are right up my alley!! :)

I have been on a mission this weekend to try and find Alexis a pageant dress. I have been around around the block but finally settled on one! I think she is going to be gorgeous and I cant wait to post pictures of her in it! :)

We headed to Gadsden yesterday real quick to check out a couple of stores and I was sooo disappointed with the lack of selection! But we made our time worth it by hanging out with Mrs. Kristi and watching Rio 2!! It was SUCH a cute movie and the girls loved it!!

We got back home just in time for the much needed afternoon nap to only head out once naps were over to eat dinner and head to the 'J Day' game! It was nice to go to the game...but I have to admit, I am no WAY near AT ALL ready for Football season or Fall/Winter, etc!! I am loving Softball/Baseball....Spring......Summer weather!! :)

This morning...we headed to Church. This Sunday is Palm Sunday! Next week is Easter! :) The girls had a little performance at Church this morning but due to 'technical' difficulties, the music wouldnt work so the kids couldnt sing.  :(

After Church Daddy put Alexis to work!! He told her that she needs to learn how to do 'chores'/work in order to make money to get things that you need/want! Sooooo....he explained to her what her 'chore' was and she headed outside to get started!! She was actually sooo excited to be doing her 'chore' until it was about 45 minutes later and the big basket still wasnt full like it was supposed to be!! Tyler had her out in the backyard picking up pine cones!!

Once she was finished and while Lily napped, we headed to Oxford to pick up her dress that I decided on and to Wal~Mart to pick out her special treat that she earned from picking up the pine cones!!

I told Alexis to go get her shoes on so she could head outside to start working. Well...........she comes in the kitchen wearing.......................  this!!!

Yep...she was ready to go work outside in her Church/dressy shoes!! I told her that she could not work in those shoes. That they were not the type shoes to work in. And....she goes {with a matter of fact voice} "Well...yes I can work in these Mommy!!" OOOHHH me...............

Sooo....once she got more appropriate shoes on..... and her Winter gloves because she didnt want the pine cones to hurt her hands...she was ready to start "Making the money!" :)

She worked sooo hard that it wore her out!

When we got home and all clean and comfy...it was time to play with her new toy she was able to get because she had worked so hard!! :)
